- This was a well made game! Loved the humor (binjamin -_-) and the bad reviews, of which I got plenty. Tutorial is great, I would have the gameplay intro be slower - but that's personal preference since memorization is not my thing. While the theme implementation is pretty straightforward, I appreciate the effort and quality of your work.

This is so great! I love that the ingredients were different all times that I played. The "mee-mee-moe" voice is hilarious. I loved the client hands reaching up to the window. 10 out of 10, would play this again. You've got a follow from me.
Thanks my dude, means a lot!
The customer voice's are tormenting me in my dreams hahahah
Binjamin is super cute, btw.
Liked art style and that game runs smooth in browser on me end.
But, think, game starts a lil too complicated.
We are thinking of implementing a test customer in the tutorial, to slow things down a bit, so you can get a feel of making potions. slow down the pacing.
Binjamin says CHOMP CHOMP CHOMP!
Fun and difficult, at my first run I did't realized there was a page on the rigth side of the book. xD
I find that ingredients rotation is really good for the gameloop !
Thanks my dude!
Game can be hard and stressful!
Man this game is so much fun, well polished, and looks great! Excellent work, absolutely loved it
Thanks Dude :)
This game has so much character & charm! A lot of fun to play and get the hang of, there's so much depth!
Thanks man, I'm glad you enjoyed!
Also big fan of the videos! Keep 'em up!
Lot's of fun! Feels a little bit too fast at the start. Otherwise awesome!
Thanks man. Yeah took us awhile to get the hang of to, and we created the game hahah.
We are thinking of implementing a test customer in the tutorial. instead of showing you how to play.
A lot of fun! I love the voice acting and the urge to maximize speed with the stress of the game flow. It could be interesting to add some keyboard functions to aid in the speed - for example, using A or D to swap between screens or number keys to swap between recipe tabs.
Great work!
That was the plan with the voice acting. hehe glad you liked it.
Good suggestion with the A-D moving around the screen. Can add some multitasking smoothness if added, defiantly something to discuss.
Really nice crafting and combining game (~^w^)~ (nicer than the clients, even if they keep waiting despite complaining a lot)
Well done !
The Clients be crazy! Thanks man :)
I like the game's concept, the light mechanic adds a nice twist. Definitely a creative way to implement the Shadows theme. Also I really like the sound effects.
thank you!! We spent a good while getting that idea to work well and not feel too unfair! Glad it paid off :)
Nice game, the customers felt like Gordon Ramsay screaming at me, 10/10 would recommend
this gives us some ideas for future updates hhahaha, thanks for the nice words though!
Fantastic game! Great concept, plays smoothly and the added challenge of the shadow combined with moving items around really keeps you on your toes. Great work!
thanks for stopping by! Really appreciate the kind words :)
This is awesome, love the art style and sound design. Would definitely be interested in seeing more of this!
thanks so much for the kind words! Really appreciate it, we might make some updates on the future, so keep an eye out :)
I am not very good in these types of games but loved the atmosphere and the sound effects! I was also surprised when the lights went out and had to get ingredients blind, it made things more interesting (and also more stressful xd). Good job!
hahaha I have to admit, I don’t think I’m terribly great at these types of games either! But I’m glad you enjoyed it :) thanks for leaving a nice message
I managed to make a potion of luck :), very cozy game. The graphics are very good.
hahahahah I’m glad you played our game! It means a lot to us :)
man I love the art style of this game, I especially liked the shadow effect in this game. I thought the "tutorial" was well done as it introduced me to how the game works and how I'd want to play. I hope you keep up the good work!
really appreciate the kind words, means a lot to us xx
Thanks so much for stopping by :)
I really like this sound effect, haha. Well done!
dat Waz us hahah!
Thanks man glad you like hearing us.
This game has an insane amount of polish!
I adore the PSX style.
The sounds effects and music are well made
and the pacing is fast but not too fast once you get a hold of it.
I would love this game further expanded into a full release, it feels like a very good taste of what is a great game
Cheers, hope to see you next Game Jam.
Thanks for stopping by and playing our game, really appreciate the kind words, it always means alot! :)
We already have plenty of ideas on how we could make this more fun going forward so who knows?
Hope we see you at the next one too!
Great game. Amazed at how well it plays for a 2 week project. The layout flows nicely from the customer interaction to referencing the book. Nice, cosy game with good music and sound effects.
Thanks so much, we really rushed in yesterday to get the game done! Glad everything ran smoothly for you while playing the game :)
Definitely fun to play, good job!
thanks for the kind words! xx
A very good implementation for the shadow and alchemy mechanics! Fantastic end result for being done in two weeks. Everything seems to work just right and making potions gets more smooth as you get familiar with the recipes and where ingredients are.
Thank you so much, appreciate you taking some time to play it!
