What would you like feedback on?
Puzzle difficulty and how intuitive the 2D/3D folding mechanic feels. In particular, I'm looking for feedback on the 3d levels(starting at lv18). You can skip levels.
What did you update?
I've added a new mechanic(3d folding) and a lot of levels that utilize it. I've also updated some of the earlier levels for better tutorialization,

Amazing game, totally enjoyed it) I think, style works really well with this cool mechanics. Played through bunch of levels without skipping and this is where i stopped, did not find a solution for now:
Answering your questions:
- Puzzle difficulty - feels allright, not too easy, not ridiculously hard.
- 2d folding - easy to understand after few tries,
- 3d folding - actually, even easier to get BUT, even though I appreciate a wow factor of 3d and camera movement, it feels a lil fiddly. It's good that the option to switch to 2d is there, but I would really love the game to remember my last choice so it would stop going back to 3d every time
Other notes:
- Would be nice to have a save system or (since level skipping is there) at least number/name of current level displayed somewhere in the corner.
- Another thing is with grabbing boxes - feels a lil jarring rn plus, i've managed somehow to pase a box into a floor by dragging it, lol:
Thanks for playing through so many levels.
Glad to hear that you found 3d folds intuitive. I updated the tutorial for that many times last week since people kept having trouble with it. Still got a long way to go.
Keeping 2d mode for 3d folds is a good suggestion. Once you're familiar with how the 3d folding works, 2d preview is actually all you need.
Thanks for the bug report too. I've never had that bug happen before.
Regarding level progress, the game does save in the pc ver. Saving in WebGL has issues. Also, the pause screen shows the level name.
This is my first time playtesting the 3d levels so the difficulty curve there is a bit wonky. That level is solvable

I find it really gorgeous and creative. Not sure why but the first time I click anywhere in the menu it goes full screen, but it's no big deal, I just press Esc and go on.
The game was brutally difficult for me, did not make it past level 7, also, I found some sort of bug that I'm not sure how to reproduce on level 7. Somehow I folded the exit and when I unfold it is now part of the wall.
I tried skipping levels into 18, didn't quite understand the 3D mechanics and I couldn't figure a way to solve that one either. It also glitched with some folds, making the circuits not connect anymore.
Overall this is a super cool puzzle, I wish I were better at it.
Thanks for playing. I've seen some players struggle with that level. I'll try to make the level easier to understand. Thanks for reporting the bug as well.
A wonderful little puzzle game.
Love the graphics and the overall gameplay. Nothing really to add here that hasn't been said. Can't wait to see where this goes!
Super interesting game, I love the graphics and overall feel of the game. Really don't have anything to add that other commenters haven't said already, just keep it up!
I think the game can be very fun, but I find it visually exhausting because of all those effects, filter and particles. Also, so level might be a bit too hard, I skipped a couple. The first time the box is introduced, I think it's a bit too hard because you have to pull it and then push it from different sides, otherwise you get stuck and I don't think that's very intuitive for the introduction of a new item. Otherwise, Impresiva game.
That's a good point. I'll update the box tutorial level
cool game very nice , very crisp quick and fun ,
This is such a good game, but I'm so mad that it doesn't have proper sound design, and that grabbing objects is painfully janky 😔
edit: please add a fullscreen button if you're doing webgl
Thanks for playing. Lack of full screen was an oversight. I've added a fullscreen button now. I will improve the sound design and game feel in the future.
This game is excellent. It features one of those great core mechanics that is simple, but that you can use in lots of creative ways. I love the art style, the general vibe, and the excellent puzzle designs. Here are some notes I made as I was playing.
This puzzle was the best puzzle I've played in the jam so far. Fun to think about, fun to execute, lots of tricky steps.
Excellent work!
Thanks for playing. Several people have brought up the MMB issue. I've updated it with a keyboard binding.
The game has a lower amount of early puzzles currently since I want people to get to the 3d parts quickly. I will make the initial level flow smoother in the future.
I'm still working on the visuals and plan on changing the fold blocker visuals in the future.
That puzzle is also one of my favorite. Glad to know you enjoyed it.
The shadows are really cool, it makes the game come alive. The art style in general and music is really cool too.
The concept is genius!
However I didn't really get on with the 3d folding - MMB isn't a great keybind because my screen kept scrolling up and down the page.
I couldn't figure out if it mattered where you created the fold?
I would like to be able to use a keyboard keybind or you might have to carefully explain what world folding is doing with a very simple tutorial level.
In Mario, when you switch to the background areas, you go through a pipe or you bounce off a spring, so I wonder if it would be better to let the player create a portal and have an animation so that they can see that they pop through the portal and end up on the other side?
Doesn't have to be that idea but hope that helps get you thinking.
Let me know if you want me to explain better :)

Thanks for playing. Yeah not sure where to move the 3d fold controls. It needs to not block wasd movement. Shift was already used for the parallel world preview. ctrl activates a lot of browser shortcuts if you press WASD with it(can happen easily while moving). For now I've added an additional binding for 3d folding to shift and the preview to c.
MMB scrolling on webGL is an oversight. I'll see what I can do fix it.
I don't understand what you mean by where you create the 3d fold not mattering. Maybe since your screen started scrolling on MMB, it only made vertical 3d folds which would look quite similar regardless of where you made the fold. Do you remember if the x marks after 3d folding were always horizontal?
Absolutely gorgeous game design. Every level is well balanced, not too hard and not too easy, making it satisfying to achieve the accomplishment. Really good work!
great game!
i've played most of the 2D levels and tried 3D a bit.
what i liked:
- the general idea and mechanics! folding space is so fun and I enjoyed that I could try different types of puzzles that make you think out of the box :)
- the style: very neat and aesthetic, and the color choice is very enjoyable. I feel like I could spent lots of time in this puzzle and it would be a pleasure to play,
- the puzzles itself. they seemed to be not that easy to me and make you think a bit, at least at first, but when you get used to it, everything goes a bit smoother and every solved level feels like a win :)
what i what to give some feedback on:
- some levels were hard to get into at first as I wasn't getting any good idea of what should I do. I think it may be a bit more enjoyable when you immediately have some ideas that you would like to try as soon as you look at the new level. I liked a hint on level 11, for example, and it definitely gives you an idea how to solve level 12! or maybe it would be helpful to have more level devoted to the same topic, like 5 or more simple levels with walls helping you with the buttons, just to make this learning curve a bit longer and smoother :)
- i didn't understand some symbols, maybe i have missed something? like the one from level 15: does it indicate that two buttons should be pressed simultaneously? screenshot here: https://gyazo.com/6d2f15561570ea607ea55a840e46f373
- first time I played some levels seemed to me too difficult compared to some latest ones. But after I went to play them one more time I couldn't find them any more :D I think that I believed some levels before 11 and 12 to be more tricky, but after some practice it was perfectly fine. I think that it just means that I needed more easy levels to get used to the gameplay.
- I believe that holding wasd was a bit not that intuitive, I tried pressing the buttons without holding and was surprised that I should wait before the box can be moved a bit further :D and only the next level gave me a hint that I should hold them, as far as I remember.
- I tried to look into 3D levels, as you wanted to get feedback on it, but it was a bit hard for me to comprehend :( The tutorial seemed a bit fast, and I couldn't understand if I do anything right. I got a couple of hints how to play, but I couldn't implement them correctly, I am afraid. It seemed like I couldn't have a proper view on the level to plan my actions. Would love to give it one more try, but maybe it would be great to have a simpler tutorial or easier controls!
- One last thing is that sometimes I got stuck as after I unfolded the space the "wires" got broken and I couldn't get them connected to the buttons. Is this a bug ar did I do something wrong? screenshot: https://gyazo.com/a714aa29e42fb89a29c3c1ffd76042b9
Still it is a very nice puzzle, I had fun :)
Thanks for trying out the 3d levels. I've gotten feedback from others that the 3d mechanic is a bit hard to use/understand. I'll improve the tutorialization.
It's a good suggestion to add more early levels. I've removed some early levels to get people to the 3d levels faster. In my experience people don't play entries to full completion.
Regarding the symbol, it's meant to represent that you have to get two units of power there. I agree that it's a bit unclear. Maybe a battery icon would make it clearer.
Regarding the wires being broken: yeah it's a bug.
Thanks for playing. It's great to hear that you enjoyed the puzzles.
This game is one of my favorites so far! I absolutely love the concept of a puzzle game where you can compress space—it’s so well implemented, and solving the puzzles is really fun.
The 3D puzzle mechanic is also super interesting, but it took me a bit of time to fully understand how the 3D folding works. At first, it wasn’t very clear what was happening, probably because the animation felt a bit fast, and the on-screen explanation didn’t quite help me grasp it right away. Maybe slowing it down or offering more visual guidance could make it easier to follow. Also, controlling the 3D folding with the middle mouse button can feel a bit fiddly, depending on the mouse. For users on notebooks using touchpads, it could be tricky since they might not have a middle mouse button. Perhaps an alternative control option could help?
Overall, I had a blast playing this, and I’m really excited to see how it evolves!
Thanks for playing. I've made the 3d animation speed fast to avoid annoying the player(since they have to do it many times). But that might've made it harder to understand initially. I think this can be solved by using a slower animation speed the first few times the player performs it.
You've raised a good point with mmb being unavailable to laptop users. I'll add alternative control schemes in the future.
Really neat puzzle game! I got stuck on Level 8 and ended up giving up after struggling for like 10 minutes. I tried to use the level skip shortcut (shift+space+p) but it didn't seem to work. I'm wondering if you've disabled that. I would've like to attempt some extra levels to give you some more feedback.
I'll start by saying that I personally don't play puzzle games so take my feedback with a grain of salt. Overall I found the basic mechanic incredibly clever and you've clearly shown it's unique enough to design a whole game around.
The first few levels did a great job of helping me understand how to use the mechanic and I felt like they had a great ramp up in difficulty. If I were a more puzzle-minded player maybe I wouldn't get stuck on Level 8 but that's where it felt like a bit of a wall for me.
I really enjoyed both the music and the visuals. Overall this is a really solid entry and I hope you get some puzzle-enjoying playtesters for more relevant feedback!
Thanks for playing. I forgot that I had disabled cheats in build haha. Thanks for catching that. I've updated the build to allow skipping now. I'd like to make the game accessible to everyone. I'll try to make the early game difficulty ramp smoother.
