The art style was surprising, because I wasn't expecting a horror game based on the story (good surprise). The movement animations lagged behind actual movement; the projectiles fall behind you, and there isn't any progression (nothing happens at the end). With some sounds, an ending, working projectiles, and smoother animations you have yourself a fun little horror game.
The art style was pretty good, and I liked the trailer you included. I wasn't sure what to do though besides running around and shooting up enemies.
I thought the dimly lit lightning was a nice touch to help fit the situation and style of the game. I also enjoy the concepts of these types of games, maybe next time have like a camera rotation, something that makes the FOV a bit easier when walking through rooms.
Really good job on this. I was really impressed with what you were able to accomplish. The dimly lit map was really good and the overall feel was amazing. Great Job
I watched the trailer for the game, and it was really adorable. As for gameplay, the controls felt good, and the art style looked really good as well. I was able to walk around the dungeon and find the NPC but I wasn't sure what to do after that. Overall, the game was really cute, and I think you did a good job!
Cool concept for a game with a really good UI system. I can see where you were going with this but there are some bugs like the walls not keeping you within the boundary of the room.
The user interface was well designed, it guides the player with instructions on how to play the game. The flying objects are hardly seen, try and make them more obvious. The environment, walls, and fire are pretty cool. Well done on the game.
I could see what you were doing and it was highly ambitious and I commend your bravery for trying to make this game, but there was some bugs and I would suggest making all the rooms have walls that keep you within the boundaries of the game and it was hard to see the projectiles.
That player character is one ridiculously cute critter, and that lore clip attached to the game page is really something. The projectiles are so incredibly fast that I didn't realize at first that they were a thing, and thought I was pressing space to spawn skeletons. And then a few more shots cleaned them out of that first room. Took a few tries, but I was able to wipe out the skellies and get to Sheep. I couldn't figure out how to get the cage open... But I did find a way to shove myself into the cage, and from there out of the map and into the never. Would definitely play again.
Nice design. I also liked the video posted which gave extra lore to your game! I liked having a backstory and having different characters so that you can know what the reason behind each characters situation is. I think the enemies were nicely done. There is a section in the beginning where you can fall off the map and not get the game over after falling for a bit. Overall good job though.
Very creepy design, I love it! Also awesome game trailer!
Felt pretty spooky and had to try a few times to get to the end
Great plotline!! I really liked the cute characters and the environment fits the game well. What could be better is if the pentagon star projectiles shot out more to hit the enemies, and more of a bigger indicator that we reached the end of the game.
I loved the intro movie you made, that was extremely cute. I was able to make my way to the end of the dungeon, I think it would have been more satisfying to have either a final battle or a puzzle to solve to unlock your friend maybe? The attack and damage all appears to be functional IE I could damage enemies and they could damage me, but maybe the projectiles were going too quickly as I couldn't see them most of the time. If you have time to look into the particle system for unity, the main character's attack would have been a really good place to use them for added visual impact.
Good gameplay. :)
I really like the game concept. The camera view I feel wasn't ideal to help find my way around the maze, the enemies and shooting stars were a little buggy. Overall, I enjoyed it great job! Also, amazing trailer, I loved it!
Love the feeling of the aesthetics and the use of the theme's lyrics! The attack and enemies were a bit buggy and I wish there was something more when you reached the end, but the lighting was amazing and I can really see the potential in this game that could be brought out more if you had more time to polish it.
I really like the idea behind this game and I thought it was really creative! However, I ran into a few game-breaking bugs, and things like player movement and enemy interaction just didn't feel very fine-tuned. I also could not really see the connection between this game and the theme you selected. I liked the menu and the instructions you provided, but the game felt un-polished overall.
This game was pretty fun. I wish it tied into the theme more, but other than that the game feels good to play!
