cool and fun game!

Pretty fun, but took a while to figure out. Some bugs for sure - for the last level, the enemy disappeared and just waited for the timer to run out - somehow still won. I will say one of the best tutorial experiences I've seen so far to teach you to use wasd. The crowd really adds a lot to this, great job.

Developer

Thank you! I'm really proud of the tutorial

The art in this was awesome! I also really liked the people bouncing up and down and the little text bubbles. Added nice immersion to the world which is always nice. I could not really understand how to please the crowd. I got the crate destroyed but they were still not pleased :\.

Fun game. I think I hit a soft lock bug tho after the big leaper. Ended up being unimpressed, but went on to "all our fighters" but then no one entered the stadium.

I like the idea and concept and love the sweet crowd visuals and talk:D!

Enjoyed playing!

What a fun concept. I had a couple bugs, but they've all been listed by other commenters, so I'll just say that I enjoyed the visuals and the sound effects. The knife rotating around the 2d sprite in 3d was a pretty neat effect and The garbled talking was pretty funny. Well done!

What do I have to do with box please :D I can not figure it out myself ^^

Host(+2)

The enemies need to push you into them when attacking I think.

Thx 😁

I saw this game on twitter and was excited to see the end result. At first i didn't quite understand what to do with the box until i took a look at the comments. It's a nice and creative concept.

I love the crowd and the hilarious dialogs. You have a good sense of humor ngl.

Unfortunately i ran into some bugs. But you are already aware of that.

The art style is amazing, i love how you combine 2D with 3D. That makes the overall picure very unique to look at.

That being said, i think you did a great job.

Nice art style and 3d effect. It's a little buggy, but the dialogs are very funny and fit well !

Art and concept are brilliant!

I found really hard to understand what you have to do instead of running towards the knife.

The art is amazing and the style is awesome, also I love the concept to find ways to die (also the jumping crowd is super cool!).

Maybe next time some background music (Zapsplat is a good place to start), and lower the speed of the messages because they pop out and I cannot finish reading the phrase.

Getting hit in the right spot and at the right angle - I like that concept!

Cool game, tho at the start nothing happened so I just stood there running around for a minute or 2.

Then I think I got it to work after walking towards the gate.

The game is nice, took me a while to understand what to do, but was fun.

Good job!

Developer

You must have somehow slided past the door trigger haha

I love everything about this game, and I wasnt ready for your choice of sound design hhahahaha. How have you done it for the spectators? Is it an animation or a random motion ?

Developer

I had the spectators move from one point to another at a given speed for a given amount of time

I like the concept, but I can't figure out how to interact with the crates. This is very charming.

Developer

You can break the crates by being knocked back into them by the enemy

Submitted(+1)

Its got good bones. the quips are funny to see. I think I broke something in the end game by spamming the dialog skip, I'm not just standing empty in the arena with nothing. its unfortunate the sounds doesnt work in the web.

Submitted(+1)

The visuals are excelent! I liked the detail of the audience saying "Do they know they can use WASD to move?"

The only thing is that I ran into a bug after the first metal crate where the game played all the dialogs really fast, skipping fights in the middle, until it said "Let's test all the enemies at once" and it was a minute and half of no enemies.

Another thing is that I downloaded the Desktop version to test it better, and discovered that it did have sound. The browser version seemed to have not sound. I don't know if it was intended or not.

Disregarding that, the visuals are pretty good and the topic is on point.

Good job!

Great choice of aesthetic. I enjoyed the humor from the speech bubbles. Rounds felt a bit long after the basic goals where completed.

Developer

If you use up all your hearts then the round will end there, you don't need to wait for the timer to run out :)
