Cool! I Wish That There Were More Animations Though.

intense! my browser window kept closing for some reason. (when clicking fast or something)

Developer

ah sorry about that. Which browser and OS were you using?

(+1)

all good.
i noticed it happens with most if not all browser games with mouse controls. on itch.io at least.
browser is vivaldi, it's based on chrome.

Fun game! Especially impressive considering it was made in just 48 hours you did a fantastic job!

Very fun game and great art! I especially liked gravitationally slingshotting things away from me by dodging them at the right moment

Very original mechanic for the theme, congrats! I think having to be careful to not lose collected elements to incoming ones adds a level of challenge that works really well. I'm curious: did you experiment with other shapes for the main character? It may be fun if the character grew and also changed size. Great work!

Developer

There are "slots" around the character that we didn't have time to add UI for, but as you change levels, the number of slots changes. This was meant to give a sense of scaling up, but we probably could have done it to a large extent than we did.

I love space so this may be bias but I love the art in this game, the gameplay is also really fun, had me always anticipating what the next form may be, nice work!

Fantastic game! Concept is great and I love the gameplay. I only managed to play halfway through the game though, it gets too hard and I realized I have skill issue xd

Developer

haha no I think the game is indeed a bit difficult. Thanks for playing!

Great game ! The physics are well implemented, i thought it's gonna be easy but turned out to be quite challenging ahahahha, and you did this under 48 hours, quite amazing ! keep up the good work :)

Submitted(+3)

The movement felt nice and snappy and the magnetic orbeting of the elements was implemented really well! Good stuff

Developer

Thanks! Glad you liked the physics!

Submitted(+3)

The controls were pretty nice and snappy. The game was fun and intuitive. Great job overall! :D

Submitted(+2)

Nice game! The controls were easy, it was fun to try and get other stuff attached to me while avoiding other stuff. Great work!

Submitted(+2)

Tense ambience, controls are simple and intuitive, visuals are great.

Oooo cool game. Loved the music, made the experience very hype. Gameplay clicked as well (though it did take me a hot minute to figure out that colliding the yellow spikes was bad). The only feedback I could give is just on visuals. The player and collectible assets don't really match some of the backgrounds you have. Something about them clash for me personally. Also, the UI feels to me different than the assets, like the assets feel drawn while the UI is very thin and vector-ish. Something about the visuals just feel "disconnected."

Eitherway, fun little game and hope y'all keep it up!

Really cool take on the tastyplanet/agar type of game. I really enjoyed trying to snipe the elements into the right space on the devourer! Art and music are also excellent!

Would love it if you could check out our game!

Submitted(+3)

This a pretty slick and satisfying game. Wow, it's so tricky to get those elements to stick in just the right spot. I had fun. Lovely artwork too!

the interpretation of the theme is very beautiful, the mechanics are also perfect for the chosen concept, taking all the objects without having them break each other is frustrating, but it is more a personal opinion relating to this type of game. Really nice work!

Developer

Thanks for playing and glad you liked it!

You gotta add a jumpscare warning to the boot screen man that frog scared the hell out of me

Liked the game, i like how all parallel universes have unique gimmicks and you get to go ham at the transition to a new parallel universe but said parallel universes also take a bit too long and the latter ones feel REALLY heavy to control, i found not being able to dodge the stuff attracted to me a little bit frustrating, but that aside its pretty good!

Developer(+1)

Hahaha, the frog was just saying hello :)

Thanks for playing so thoroughly! We did mostly focus on balancing and polishing the first loop.

(I really enjoyed your game btw! Very clever)
