I really enjoyed playing your game—it’s such a smart and creative way to teach an important lesson: don’t text and drive! The mechanics, like managing the chat and driving simultaneously, are so well done, and the increasing difficulty keeps it engaging.
Also, I loved watching your devlog video—it was super insightful and added a lot to the experience. We definitely need more games like this to spread awareness. Amazing work!
Your game perfectly fulfills the primary and secondary core mechanics! I really enjoyed the variety of cat behaviors—it added so much charm to the experience. I managed to understand the game, but I’m not sure if I fully understood the degree part. Is it the green-colored one you get after adding the correct numbers? If so, I think I got it! Overall, it’s a super creative and quirky concept—great work!
Enjoyed your Game!
I had such a blast playing your game! The whole concept is so creative, and the atmosphere really pulls you in—super immersive. Keeping the fire alive while exploring is such a cool challenge, and it kept me on edge the whole time.
The gameplay is smooth and keeps you hooked, and I loved how every little thing felt important (Enemy in Dark area). Great job creating such an engaging experience! Can’t wait to see how you build on this. Awesome work!
Your game was so much fun to play! I loved the whole idea of moving around and trying to stay ahead of the enemies—it kept me hooked. Every move felt important, which made it really exciting.
The exploring and dodging combo was super cool, and I liked how you added little features like changing effects or making new maps.
It’s awesome that you made everything yourself—seriously impressive! Can’t wait to see what you come up with next. Great job!
I really enjoyed playing this arrow-shooting game! The upgrade system is engaging, the animations are smooth, and the sound design complements the gameplay well. The mechanics are solid and fun to interact with. Great work! I’m excited to see what interesting ideas you bring to future rounds. Keep it up!

Check out the new version and let me know what you think! https://sourabhk.itch.io/strange-surge
I absolutely loved Dimension Jumper! The way you blended 2D and 3D dimensions is such a unique and creative concept. The challenge of adjusting the box and switching between 2D and 3D to find the exit was really engaging. The minimalistic 2D style combined with the simple 3D visuals worked perfectly together.
This is easily my second most favorite game in this jam! There are a few minor bugs, like the 3D camera movement being a bit too fast and the player feeling a bit slippery, but they don’t take away from the overall experience. The 2D-to-3D transition effect was also really well done. This is by far the most unique entry I’ve played so far. Great job!
By the way, I noticed you haven't added a game poster or screenshots yet. I think that might be affecting the visibility and ratings because this game definitely deserves more attention! Adding a poster and some in-game screenshots would help grab more people's interest. It's such a unique concept, and more people need to check it out!
I enjoyed playing your game. The gameplay was good, and I liked the aim shooting mechanics—LMB for shooting and RMB for the blast shot felt really satisfying when destroying wall. One thing that stood out was the awesome 2.5D blend effect between the player and the walls, which added a cool visual touch.
No major bugs that I noticed, just a couple of minor ones, but nothing that affected the gameplay. At first, I thought the player was just standing still during movement, but then I realized it’s a soul game, haha! The duplicating soul power-up is a great concept too. Overall, awesome job!
I really enjoyed playing your game! The fish power-up in the first level was a cool idea, and turning into a fish to float in water felt unique. Facing the electric eel and unlocking the door added a nice challenge. The second level was tough, especially with the strong enemy when turning into the spaceship-like object—I'm currently stuck on that one!
Overall, the game has a perfect theme, and it’s really unique. I did notice a minor bug where the fish sometimes glitches when transitioning from water to the ground. But other than that, it’s a great game, and I had fun playing!
Also please use Good game poster. Your game really unique but not getting much attention.
I played your game and wanted to share my thoughts! I really enjoyed the unique menu system where you type commands like -H
for help and -play
to start. It's a fresh take that adds a nice interactive element. The music is fantastic and really enhances the overall experience. The gameplay is decent and feels unique, which I appreciate. As a fan of minimalistic art, I found the visuals appealing as well. Keep up the great work—I'm looking forward to seeing what you create next!
Thank you for your feedback! I’m glad you enjoyed the gameplay mechanics and design. 😊
For level 6, here are some hints to help you progress:
- First Mushroom: Try looking backward or to the left side. You’ll notice how the mushroom enemy reacts—if the squirrel faces it, the mushroom will stop and sleep. But if you turn your back, it will try to walk toward you and attack!
- Second Mushroom: You'll need to use this mushroom to push the berry so it falls down. Move left and right to make the mushroom move accordingly and get it into position.
I hope this helps you conquer level 6! Enjoy the game, and thanks for playing!

Thank you for your support! We can’t wait for you to embark on this adventure in Strange Surge. Your feedback will be invaluable as we continue to improve and expand the game.
I just played your game, and I have to say it perfectly fits the theme! The variety of power-ups is impressive, and even as someone who typically doesn't enjoy 2D shooting games, I genuinely liked it. The Allergy Blast power-up is my favorite! The neon light aesthetics look fantastic, and the music complements the gameplay perfectly. I think you should definitely consider adding this game to the Play Store—it's simple yet engaging, and I didn't find any bugs. Great job!
I really enjoyed this platformer! The potion mechanics that alter the world, like the no-gravity potion, were a fantastic take on the "strange power-up" theme. As a fan of platformers, I appreciated the beautiful moving stars in the background and the lovely music that enhanced the experience. The UI was perfect, with lots of elements that added to the game without feeling cluttered. I also loved the story you incorporated; it inspired me to think about how to weave narratives into my own games more effectively. Great job!
Thank you for your feedback! I'm glad you liked the mechanics and found the puzzle platformer concept interesting. I appreciate your thoughts on the controls—I'll definitely consider adjusting the glide button for a smoother experience. As for level 3, it’s great to hear your perspective; I aimed for a challenging design, but I’ll look into adding hints or making it clearer how to progress. Thanks again for playing and sharing your thoughts!
Thank you so much for the kind words! I'm really glad you enjoyed the visuals, sound, and level design. It means a lot to hear that you found the movements fluid as well. I'd love to hear if there’s anything you think could be improved or any areas where you felt the game could be better. Your feedback would really help me make the game even more fun!Your feedback keeps me motivated.thanks again!
Thanks a lot for the feedback! I’ve actually replaced the box collider with a capsule collider to help make movement smoother, especially for jumping between platforms. It works well in most cases, but I’m curious—did you notice the slippery feeling mostly when the player was on the edge of a short platform, or was it happening elsewhere too? I'd love to hear your thoughts!
Thanks for playing and for your feedback! The enlargement mechanic is actually part of the puzzle—when you grow larger, navigating tight spaces becomes impossible, so avoiding certain power-ups like the acorn is key to solving some areas. For level 4, the trick is to glide from the upper platform towards the exit. It's meant to challenge your understanding of the mechanics, but I appreciate the feedback and will consider adding more hints in the future!
I had a fun playing your game! I love how you incorporated the 'strange power-up' theme into the gameplay. The concept of gathering wood near trees and using power-ups to defeat the boss is really creative. Even though I struggled a bit as a beginner to beat the boss, I still enjoyed the challenge.
One issue I encountered was a bug where, after going back to the menu and starting again, the player gets stuck and can't move. Hopefully, that can be fixed in future updates!
Overall, great job! The gameplay is unique and keeps me wanting to play more.
I really enjoyed playing the game! It's engaging, and I think it's perfect for mobile. However, I initially found it difficult to understand how the game works, especially when it comes to guessing the words and using powerups. A short tutorial or example of what to do would really help new players get into the flow faster.
Also, I noticed that sometimes the word doesn't register correctly, likely due to the game treating the spacebar (jump) as part of the string. It would be great if that issue could be fixed to improve gameplay. Overall, I love the concept, and I'm excited to see more of it!
Great job! The environment looks fantastic. However, the car felt a bit slow and difficult to control, which made driving a challenge. The power-ups added a fun twist, but their effects weren't always clear. It might be interesting to introduce some competition or speedrun features to aim for faster lap times. Overall, it’s a fun game with potential!
I enjoyed the gameplay, which had an average pace, but the incorporation of three power-ups based on the “strange power-up” theme was a clever touch! However, I did notice a few issues: the player and enemies couldn’t attack each other unless they were horizontally aligned, which made combat a bit tricky. Also, after defeating an enemy and picking up the power-up, I found a little crack for the exit, but expanding this exit into something like a gate or door would make it clearer for players.
On a positive note, intro was good, the music was fantastic and really suited the game, and the UI was well designed. Overall, it's an engaging experience that just needs a bit of improvement in art quality to enhance the visual appeal!
Thank you so much! Glad you enjoyed the art and the gliding mechanic! 😊 I appreciate the feedback on the controls — I used a capsule collider for the player, which might be making the movement feel a bit slippery, especially on the edges. I'll look into adjusting that for better control. Thanks again for playing!
I really enjoyed this puzzle platformer! The minimalistic style and clean white background made it visually appealing. The level design is insane, and I loved the challenging puzzles with clever power-ups. I struggled at first but felt super accomplished when I found the hidden path. I did encounter a small bug in level 2 when using the gravity power-up — the player disappeared, probably due to a collider issue. But beyond that, levels 3 to 5 were challenging and fun! Still working on figuring out level 6, but I’ll definitely be back for more. The music was a perfect match too!
