Frantic neon shooter... fun 😊!
I made it to the point where there were no more power-ups. That's pretty good, I suppose. It was fun to play and shoot and see the hectic action on the screen. The mini-boss fights were also a nice variation. A few strange power-ups indeed😊!
Graphically good, minimalist and neon, but coherent and with a good vibe and atmosphere for the game. Very nice. The delightful upbeat background also contributed to the enjoyable shooting frenzy. Perhaps after a while, some newer elements could have been added in terms of enemies or environment, or a real end-boss fight (or was there one after level 13?). But that is just a minor thing just to add some future feedback.
Controls worked well, and the UI was clear.
All in all, a delightful fun shooter and solid jam entry. Well done 💪!

It is an awesome game, it is fun with a lot of different powerups, the magic books are really powerful and vfx is nice, and also graphics are so good, great job.
Suggestion: Screenshake can be added at explosion vfx :) .

This game is absolutely gorgeous, I'd give it 6 stars for visuals if I could! I loved your art choices on this one, the animated minimalist retro-y graphics are super cool. The player animations are top notch and I really enjoyed swinging the wand back and force. There's a lot of little details that add up to a super well polished entry such as the menu screen moving around slightly with the mouse or the burst of particles when you kill the red enemy. I especially loved your start menu design, it was one of the cleanest looking start menus I've ever seen. The power-ups are unique and good honest fun, at one point I was just the gun and had the super dash and it was pretty funny too watch the gun fly around the map and bounce off stuff. One criticism is that the gameplay gets repetitive pretty quickly as all the enemy types are best dealt with by circle strafing and don't require much in the way of tactics. I really enjoyed the boss fight I got too though, thought it was a good level of challenge. I think if you could flesh out the combat a little more (for a week long jam you did great tho) this could make for a great commericial product. Sick entry!!

Yea, content is always a big problem in a game jam, especially if you take into account that most people don't play very long, but I agree that in the long term, the game gets repetitive. I would've loved to introduce more enemy types, bosses and levels (after 3 stages, the map changes its color, for example). There could be new structures, etc., then, but yeah, 10 day limit haha
I just played your game, and I have to say it perfectly fits the theme! The variety of power-ups is impressive, and even as someone who typically doesn't enjoy 2D shooting games, I genuinely liked it. The Allergy Blast power-up is my favorite! The neon light aesthetics look fantastic, and the music complements the gameplay perfectly. I think you should definitely consider adding this game to the Play Store—it's simple yet engaging, and I didn't find any bugs. Great job!

This might be my favorite game of the jam so far!
The power-ups were satisfying and powerful (shooting bananas were my favorite) and the gameplay was engaging. I liked that the appearance of all the enemies was well choreographed.
My only feedback is that stamina should recharge automatically between rooms. I found myself waiting at the end of each room for the stamina recharge.

Great top-down roguelite! The powerups were definitely "strange" - my favorite combination was "be the wand" plus "bouncy" :)
Graphics were great and the sounds and particle effects were very punchy. The first boss I fought had a lot of HP, but the others were easier after I got more powers. I especially liked the sound effect for when the boss swings at you - it makes the attack sound like it has a lot of power.
Very fun game! I got to level 8!

Very polished game overall really good graphics and sounds! Very neat powerups idk if they are really that strange but it goes with it for sure! I had problems in the end with the stages being way to long and repetitive as also the minibosses have way too much health at the start it took soo long to defeat them.
Overall a reall good game!
Thanks for the feedback and for playing! I‘ve tried adding new content into the game over time - at stage 4 and 5 you get a new enemy each and the level changes its color but its hard to find a sweet spot because game jam players often don’t play games long :)
The graphics were amazing and so were the sounds, i also really liked the power up ideas even though when i chose to be mini it said my enemies won't see me but they still followed me so i believe i didn't fully understand what it meant but still it's a great game and it was really fun to play.

Damn! Where to start? It's cool when a game makes you ask questions. My question was "was the banana a good choice". Other than that- awesome game. Really smooth gameplay, that you instantly "get". Simple graphics, but you made them work with those delicious post processing effects. Retro sound effects and music, really bring this home.
And the main thing. At the time of writing this post- this game has the best implementation of the theme. By far.
The only thing I would think to improve is the difficulty curve. Once you get all the powerups, you just tear through the enemy waves. It would be cool if the game went really hardcore then. Like "oh I see you got everything, now we get serious".

Wow, I loved it! it was such a fluent gameplay and I liked that you could chose your power-up. You also totally nailed the Theme I think because these really were strange Power-ups.
Even the main menu is so stylish, its great.
I had the feeling that the power-ups could have reduced cooldowns or maybe visualize the cooldown?
The Music choice was nice, also as a composer I always prefer original music. But it was very fitting and kept me going.
All in all: Awesome! :D
Yeah some small ui cooldowns would be cool, maybe I will update it after the jam!
