Cool puzzle game! It was a bit hard to understand, the first bit was easy, but once you got to the numbers it got a bit confusing. I understood I had to match symbols, but I pressed a cat that made three sounds and I didn't really understand how that made sense. I also thought I got the correct answer when they turned red at first, but once I saw the numbers being formed being green I understood how it all worked.

It was soo cool once I understood it, I got the degree! :D

I had no clue what was going on the first time so I decided to refresh the page to start over, but now it errors out and refuses to start again, even after multiple refreshes " Error: Couldn't load project data at path ".". Is the .pck file missing? If you've renamed the executable, the associated .pck file should also be renamed to match the executable's name (without the extension)."

The idea was interesting but could've used a lot more clarifying elements.

Hello 6Knowledge! Thanks for letting me know about this issue! I clicked to play now and this error shows up to me too! Very weird, seems to be fine yesterday I played again. I also refreshed 5-7 times before it allowed me to play... weird.

Thanks for persevering! I always struggle with this balance of providing just enough information and hints before revealing everything to the player with  these games. You are right, there were a couple of mental jumps needed for this, hopefully the visual feedback on what could be interacted was at least clear. Would love to hear any advice on what you may have added to achieve this from you as a fellow dev! One of the great advantages of jams like this is to have cool people play your games hehe.

(I did think of a "press for Tips" button. Maybe I could have written there some gibberish to give extra hints ?)

I don’t know what’s going on but who can say no to cat/blobs? I hope some round in the future is to make a crossover collaboration so we can mix cats and ducks :)

Developer

hehe good idea Josep Valls! I never considered a duck-cat before, there is definitely some future on this concept!

Let me know if you want to give it another go and want any hints (my devlog is taking days to be released unfortunately..)

I’ll definitely come back to it. There is still so many other games to try!

This was cool! I like the art a lot the cats are so cute and the blobby things are cute too. I think I was too dumb to understand the puzzles, I managed to get my degree by guessing everything and just dragging stuff around til I got the correct solution lol. Great job on this!

Developer

Hehe oops! You might need to resit your exam next semester nickbdawg! Congratulations on getting the degree, I am sure you will have had some understanding of the curriculum to reach that stage :)

Lovely little puzzle game that was very cute the whole way through! Took me a bit to understand what was going on but once it clicked, was a great time

Developer

Hey Keltfire! Thanks for playing! Great to hear it all made sense in the end!

Always love your games! I found this hard to understand at first, but then I managed to figure it out and get the degree! The art style is adorable!

Hey Mooshroom! Thanks for playing!

Congratulations on your degree! You figured it out! What made the click for you to connect everything?

Submitted(+1)

I was a bit slow to realise that it was numbers that the cats were standing on (I originally thought they were doors lol). Once I realised that, it was pretty smooth sailing from there!! The animations and audio were super helpful!

Developer

thanks for pointing that out mooshroom!

It really is super valuable to receive such insights from players!

Good to know!

Hey Dev Pirates! Thanks for playing! Woohoo! Glad to hear you enjoyed it and thanks for the support! I absolutely loved playing your game, your usage of colour this year is so cool! Great to see you trying out another genre so successfully!

As always love your art!!!! I will say the beginning challenge (sand pit) was difficult as I didn't understand it? But after that it was extremely fun breaking the code xD

Developer

Hey Hermes! Thank you for all the support!!

Hehe thhats great to hear you persevered! What was the part you had to get through before you could connect everything?

An interesting and unique puzzle game. I was so lost there at first, just mindlessly clicking cats like "???" and it didn't help that I basically guessed the first cats without any mistakes :') But then I got it and it all made sense (I think) (I hope). Also, the slime cats are very cute.

Developer

Hehe great to hear Minjutin! Thanks for playing along! OH WOW lol, lucky you! You didn't guess, you probably have a natural feline instinct that led you to identify them hehe.

If you managed to get the degree I would hope it all made sense (otherwise you are de-crediting our established educational systems and have to resit the exam)

I got the degree :) Love the slime cats and the puzzles were fun to solve

Developer(+1)

Hehe official certification! Hopefully this will help other aspiring scholars of the Litterary arts as well to try!

Great to hear GameFavorites! PS: you really outdid yourself with the storytelling this year XD

Your game perfectly fulfills the primary and secondary core mechanics! I really enjoyed the variety of cat behaviors—it added so much charm to the experience. I managed to understand the game, but I’m not sure if I fully understood the degree part. Is it the green-colored one you get after adding the correct numbers? If so, I think I got it! Overall, it’s a super creative and quirky concept—great work!

Developer

Hey Sourabhk, thanks for playing!

You get the degree once you unlock the shiny green button, and then completing the calculations by dragging the (hidden) cats on the left.
