Impressively game in 10 days πͺ!
Well-made and looked great graphically in the pixel art style. Music and sounds perfectly fit the office atmosphere. Nice mini-games and crazy power-ups. Controls worked well, even during the mini-games, although sometimes I really had to aim carefully to walk through the corridors. I got stuck for a while at the letter puzzle... didn't have it correct and thought I'd skip it, but that wasn't possible. Eventually solved it after a whileπ. The game was a fun experience.
Definitely a solid good foundation for a more extensive game, and I'm curious to see where it could go in terms of storyline and such. Keep it up... good job πͺ!
First of all, the dialogue system was smooth and nicely made. All the minigames were very creative - I especially liked the "guess what the client is thinking" game. Very cute character portraits! I wanted to do a good job for my coworkers :)
I think this fits the theme PERFECTLY. The powerups had unpredictable effects on the minigames and the navigation, but they made sense in the context of the office (nobody wants to smell bad). My best strategy was to choose foods with dairy and play the sorting and client minigames as much as possible. I really liked the graphics for each of the powerups; they looked kinda gross xD
I really enjoyed this entry :) congrats to your team for such a polished and well-scoped game!
Nice concept for a game and the mini games were fun, especially the pixel icon guessing one, though I had a hard time moving because it felt like the character was always either too fast or too slow and kept getting stuck on things -- not game breaking stuck just momentarily, but frustratingly stuck :(
A very nice looking game, with many fun minigames, although at some point they got a little repetitive, it was very fun
Good Game! fantastic Artwork. I just checked out your devlog, and it's impressively detailed! It's great to see the thought and effort you put into your game development process too. Keep up the fantastic work!
thank you so much! and thanks for reading the devlog too :)
I love this game, amazing job! I played the whole thing for about 15 minutes straight and had a blast the whole time. I can't believe how polished this game is, every minigame is excellent and the music rhythm game in particular could be an entry on its own. I was playing that minigame as often as I could just to hear the song for it, its such a banger. The art is beautiful and the sound design adds a ton of juice to things. The writing is really well done and gives personality to the game instantly, I was really invested in my office character. Your take on theme is a very well-done, and fits into the office narrative nicely. I only have nice things to say I really enjoyed my playthrough. One minor criticism is that there was no way to exit the word puzzle game besides beating it, once the timer goes off it would be good to have the option to exit out of the minigame. Great entry everybody!!! In my top 2 entries so far :)
p.s. if you made this into a small rpg game with a more fleshed out story and NPCs, I would buy it
Thank you!! Such a kind review and very validating for us novice game devs, very happy that you enjoyed our game as much as you did!
Nice! I could see this as a bigger game, if there was an overarching plot!
Really loved the art style and the sound design of the game! Had fun moving around doing tasks and playing the mini games. Great work!
Loved That
It's a refreshing experience overall. The art is nice and some sound design is there too! The gameplay is also pretty straight forward. It would be cool if you can get some positive effects with the power-ups, maybe some even have it and I didn't find them lol. Overall, good job!
Nice game, with fun mini games, graphics and Sounds were also good
I am stucked at one of the minigames tho, I am very beginner for this game genre, I guess I did it wrong :D,
glad to hear you liked it! Was it the puzzle one? I find that one to be quite difficult too
putting pieces together, lets not ocean something :D
This is really great! Really liked the artstyle and the little animations. The idea of different foods affecting various mini-games is so creative! :)
Glad to hear that you liked it! Hope you enjoyed the minigames with all their variations!
I liked the idea very much, its amazing what you did in such a short amount of time. I also loved the SFX, nice work. Music was not my taste but it did fit the office atmosphere. Maybe the loop could be a bit longer.
Grafic was also nice. The handdrawn protraits were great!!
Very nice work!
Glad you enjoyed! Did you mean the loop as in the the time for each day?
the duration of the music before it loops :)
btw I loved the rhythm game :D
Ah i see, thanks for the feedback. Yeah the minigame is one of my favourites too haha
Really nice game with doing some minigames I liked that a lot. Artstyle is very nice and love the ambiance and music and sounds!! Only downpart was the game took too long for me and the movement was soo weird I was sliding on ice ?
Glad you enjoyed the minigames! Did you find the movement weird even without the food effects or maybe the food effects were making it weird?
Without the effects it was weird, like it had an weird acceleration going.
Yeah we do have some default acceleration, seems like it was too much time before the character gets to full speed so it feels like you are sliding. Appreciate the feedback!
