I now officially hate green ghosts... but coffee is my favorite! Good job. :)

You can actually use the green ghosts to get to your desk faster when carrying stuff. Just a little pro tip.

I'm not a big coffee drinker, but I made an exception for this ghostly nigh-shift.  I used to have a boss like that, so I really connected with the protagonist. Very fun game. Good job!

Glad you enoyed it!

Fun story! And much love for the green ghost!

The writing and the music were really great. Was wondering what the red ghosts did. I expected them to make you drop your paper or something.

(+2)

We had to prioritize more important decisions for a proper build. It's a shame we had to leave the red ghosts like this. But yes it was supposed to make the player drop the papers. But did not have the time to make a proper play test and balancing.

Love the music and art and kudos for you on including a story in a gamejam game. All in all great entry, loved it.

So sick, love the art and music!

Thanks a lot, I really enjoyed your game too!

Kiting ghosts is fun! I also figured out a speedrun strat to intentionally let the green ghosts hit you so you can warp to the desk with your paper. The artwork for the narrative points was great, too.

One of the few things we enjoyed when implementing the mechanic. It can get frustrating when things won't go as planned, but with the right mindset it can act like tool for speed runners!

(+1)

The green ghost strat was intentional btw, good job figuring it out!

Presentation is wonderful!

Submitted(+2)

This was super fun! I liked the little narrative elements and really enjoyed playing through all the levels. It was like a speed puzzle, figuring out how to kite the ghosts was especially satisfying for me. Would love to see this idea expanded on, nice work!

(+2)

Thanks a lot! We'll try to improve the game in the future, so look forward to that!

i love the maze. Can you make the mazes into a separate game? It's like a reaction game but doesn't look like it.

(+2)

I guess we could make a mode that's only the minigames, we'll have to discuss that.

Submitted(+2)

Loving the stressful nature of this game!

Submitted(+2)

I enjoy the mechanic switch up from minigames to a larger overarching task -- it's a neat hook. The framework and the presentation is all there and done really well, and more variety to the tasks would make for an engaging experience. Even just adding a timer to the mazes could help ratchet up the intensity to match the dope soundtrack!

(+2)

We actually had different types of mini games like word puzzles and physics based ball movement.

But the reality was that we were pressed with time in the last two days. With bugs crawling up with the mini games. We had to make the hard decision to cut some out.

Eventually we decided to keep the Maze puzzles. We could have expanded with even more creative designs. But making the build  work was our first priority.

Very cute art and nice work with sound!

I also like the idea of using mini-games to make some extra mechanics, but it would be cool if it were more variable. Even with one game - would be cool if the levels were random and/or procedurally generated. But yep, game jam has its limits :)

Good job overall!

Fun game!  Dodging the ghosts was a little bit hard, but as long as I planned it right, I could get back to my coffee :)

Good looking game! Just a little bit boring gameplay

Submitted(+1)

The intro animation made me excited, but then the core gameplay was a little tiring. The lack of variety in the puzzles was apparent and running around avoiding the ghosts was more tedious than in any way difficult. Still fun ideas and some nice art!

Sadly we didn't have time to implement the different types of minigames we had developed. Still, thanks for playing!

Submitted(+2)

Fun, but a little all over the place, took me a minute to understand what to do. Everything seemed to work well and I really enjoyed the art and music! Good Job!

(+1)

Thanks for playing the game!

Submitted(+2)

Red guy is my biggest homie, green guy is a pretty cool guy too. The art was pretty good and I liked the idea of the minigame rush to finish all these jobs. I think more variety and speed could have been added to the job minigames, but other than that running around chugggin coffee and dodging ghosts was pretty fun. Nice work!

(+2)

We actually had designed different types of minigames, but we had to cut them due to problems with bugs and time constraints. In the future we might update the game to add them, so look forward to that!

Funny story, great idea. Nice game! Green ghost was really helpful :D

(+1)

Thanks a lot! Also yeah, the real strategy of this game is using green ghost for your advantage, so well done.

Submitted(+3)

I beat it, boss is in hell! A nice little game, though I don't think the brown ghosts actually did anything?

(+3)

You mean the red ghosts? Yeah, we unfortunately were pressed on time and couldn't get them to work properly, it's a shame but alas.
