So... *clap* want one of these crowns?

Was unbelievably fun to play, great job. :)

they are rings... you know... hand... rings

Yeah no I totally knew that, I was talking about something else. Yeah I don't think I even played your game yet actually, oops. Haha okay bye *vanishes*

Great entry! Managed to get my way to the end of this one, quite the bleak ending lol. I found the upgrades very fun and they all seemed to promote different builds. Kiting enemies around and spamming projectiles never gets old and I think you have a very solid entry on your hands! The momentum and speed feels really solid, the setting is unique and the visuals are super interesting and economic. Great work!

Good endings just dont fit in mythology. Ever.

Such a sick art style! I love the feeling of the gameplay and the dialogue was solid. Had no bugs and the ending was great! Impressive stuff here guys, well done!

Developer(+1)

thanks!

No notes, really. This is quite a fun game that I had a great experience with. The upgrades are cool, combat forces you to move around, and the god of hands is an entertaining character. It left me wondering if there was some secret ending . . .

Developer

there is no secret ending, but makes me want to make one!

A Fast-Paced and Insanely Fun Game! ⚡🎮

I just can’t stop playing—this game is truly excellent! The level design is well thought out, and it looks visually stunning. What more could I ask for? I had an amazing time. The way the player gains power alongside the enemies creates a satisfying yet challenging experience—you have to quickly master everything to keep up. And the movement is   tight, responsive, and incredibly satisfying. 🏃💨

If I had to point out one thing, I’d say the combat could use a bit more visual feedback. In such a fast and dynamic game, I think that would make it even more fun! But honestly, for a game made in just 10 days, this is more than enough to have a blast. 🚀

A fantastic game—I’m glad I saved this one for last! Well done! 👏🔥

im proud of my level design, thanks for the kind words!!

Probably the first game I've played this jam where I would struggle to find room for improvement, really nice well designed game. In terms of gameplay of what I've played so far I think you easily come out on top, the only thing I noticed was that I could get snagged on the outer wall of the area while back pedaling. Really wished I spent more time designing smaller levels to make something this polished very nice!

Developer

there are like 30 collision boxes to prevent getting stuck but i still missed some. Godot's collision box visuals are CANCER, i want them to be actual boxes and not just barely visible outlines that also conveniently disappear when my shader enters the frame. God!(ot)

WOW what a game. i may suck booty at it, but i enjoyed every second. this is absolute peak. the powers are so fun. the movement is silky smooth and feels really good to control. the artstyle is great and the music is bangin. amazing.

Developer

thanks a lot!

Awesome game! I love the writing on the God of Hands. I assume this is why being told to "talk to the hand" is such a devastating fate having met this guy. Super stylish in general, too. At first I thought this was a high score game and was worried that my awesome run wasn't gonna have a number tied to it to ascribe it meaning, but then I beat the game 😎

Developer(+1)

if i had the time to add endless, i would have definitely added score, but oh well! I'd update it but the code is so messy i'd rather rewrite the entire game

Really nice, slick movement and very unique presentation. As a fellow breakbeat enjoyer the soundtrack is phenomenal! The theme and the God of Hands character are really cool, I would love to see this setting in a more fleshed out form

Submitted

i like the theme, post jam I would make the map a bit bigger and I found the enemies able to attack too frequently causing them to stay under me while jumping, overall pretty fun and polished, nice work

Developer(+1)

i can barely change anything without the whole project exploding, but making enemies more fair was definitely one of the things planned but scrapped (Athene was supposed to give you a parry ability). As well as knocking enemies back after hitting you.

Fun game, really well made. Only problem I had was enemies attacking me from off screen. Maybe it's a skill issue?

Very nice pick of colors, introduction to gesticulating God really was cool,  I wish there were more powerups applied to character movement but I really enjoyed it, good job

I really liked this. I do think it could use some polish, especially some grace periods after getting hit, or dashing, but honestly, the marvel of just holding down left click and seeing everything die and explode just makes up for it. Kinda wish there was en endless mode to explore just how far you can push the bounces :D

Also the God of Hands is such an asshole, I love him.

Just beat the game, was really surprised by how much I loved this game. Really strong atmosphere and world building. Makes me want to pick up Devil Daggers and HYPER DEMON again. Fantastic work on this.

All of the powers are super fun, had a blast playing it. A way to see what powers you currently have would be nice, as well as some indicators for when enemies take damage and when they're behind you.

Here's a vod of me playing your game: https://www.twitch.tv/videos/2372490353?t=01h43m21s

This game is really good. Nuff said

I really liked this game, it's like a 3D and better version of mine lol. I would have liked to see more power ups, even if those power ups are stuff like speed ups. But more importantly I feel like it would be nice if the map changed over time somehow, or if the map was a little bit bigger, all I did was run in circles and accept any hits that came my way. I think because of that the gameplay felt a bit too simple for me, after I found the run around in circle strat there wasn't much to it. But the game was still fun, it has great humour, and it feels extremely polished. All in all, this game is great!

very fun, love the little story, the vibe of the game, and the fast paced swarm of enemies. the different powers were very cool to play around with. it kind of reminded me of doom with just all the enemies jumping at you. this game stands out!

Developer

thank you! The pixel art in your game is beyond crazy, good luck!

The skipping dialogue line had me in stitches. I got stuck in the tutorial section, it seemed like a platform was missing. So I restarted and skipped the tutorial, but then felt like I had missed some crucial info. Either that or this game is really hard. Either way, fantastic presentation, good vibe all around. Would play again.

Developer

after you are given the power of life from GOH, you gain ability to dash, it should've displayed a visual hint (text covering half the screen, telling how to dash), but i guess you maybe pressed shift at the same time and instantly closed it, I should've made the hint go away after you reached the bin, oh well!
