I really like the game, very entertaining. With one more day of work, it could easily be published on Steam!

Yeah I remember this not being my favorite style but because of my bad day I am giving you another star! Even without sound which would have made it more impactful! 

Hey there, I am trying to get other to re-submit their reviews for my game if possible...it was deleted and removed from the Jam on accident based on a technicality which was solved between the Jam Host and a particular asset used in the game...please if you have time, energy, and/or generosity to re-saved your ratings/reviews for the game. Sorry to hear that the sound didn't work but the other aspect of the game were fun to play.  I liked the deck building aspect of the game and thought there bosses looked cool and were a nice challenge! :)

Cool demo really liked it though not familiar with the genre and was going into it with a little skepticism. But the art is nice, music and sounds are really lacking in this game (Played up till the last boss, but got dealt a really messy hand on the last 30 hp and died, but it was fun!

The only complaint besides the absence of sound and maybe lack of rogue-like elements (like in Spire) or some kind of additional genre is exchange button, when you press it there is no option to not pick an option, I just can't cancel it back to my hand even if didn't choose an option yet, really set me up on the golem boss.

We deliberately did not leave the choice to exit the exchange window so that the player understood the value of exchange points and could not speculate with them, perhaps this was a mistake :) Thanks for your feedback!

Quality of art in this game is close the quality of Slay the Spire's art which i think is the main inspiration for this game although i may be wrong. There are some problems with UI, UX and lack of sound is a bummer. 

I haven't play Slay the Spire or similar games of the same genre but i think card battle system is well implemented, it works smoothly. The implementation of card exchanging mechanic is also good and it's an excellent way of using the theme of the jam.

Visual design of bosses look good but they lack variety in their combat behaviour. They all have the same attacks. No weaknesses, no unique cards etc. They just look different. If i didn't miss anything or escaped my attention.

Overall a pretty solid game which need some more work on some areas. Well done and good luck on your projects!

Sadly some UI\UX issues come from wrongly chosen theme plate and in browser half of the UI is hidden if not change page resolution or refresh page.
As for bosses, they actually have different behavior and some specific card like 1st boss can shorten player's hand by 1 card, 2nd plays on buffing itself, 3rd operates mostly on poison and debuffs and etc. Perhaps it wasn't unique enough and not noticeable after all, so thanks for pointing this out. We'll think more carefully on game design aspects.

Haha I saw your review on Dreamsteria and had to come play your game :)

At first I didn’t see the upcoming enemy attacks at the top and I was trying to figure out the strategy but eventually it clicked. The sound bug is a shame especially if you made all the sounds :( The art is great and I like the exchange mechanic a lot

For some constructive criticism, I also experienced the web resolution issue. I think the shield and damage-through-shield icons are a bit too similar to be readable. This is super minor, but I don’t think the first boss should reduce cards in your hand - I feel like part of why I thought it was so on-rails was that I didn’t have enough options on the first boss and it would be cool to demo all the different card varieties.

Regarding problems with screen resolution, unfortunately there is such a problem, this is the first time we encountered this on this platform.Yes, the icons are really similar, let's fix this point!

We tried to give the bosses unique cards in accordance with their visual design, which the player can receive only after winning the game. The bosses turned out to be quite 'smart' due to the utility AI system. The exchange mechanics should help level out statuses imposed by bosses, albeit with a bit of randomness!

I think your game is pretty fun. Using buff and debuffs during the fight made me think carefully my every moves. I also like how you can just give one of your card to the boss. Not only that, you also made it so that you can gain bad cards and give it to the boss so he can use it. The big negative I will give is the lack of any sound or music, but you do mention it in the description. Overall, I like it.

Yeah, sounds are a big lose. Sadly we had to make this sacrifice.  At least the rest of the game works mostly as expected :)

Nice work! But I think I lost part of the screen when the game maximices itself.

There is some bug with WEB template wich we used. Perhaps reloading the page and trying again to go into full screen mode will help solve the problem.

Awesome art, very fun to look at. The gameplay is fun but pretty basic. A huge miss is sound, it didn't feel complete without it.
