Pretty damn good on every aspect. The artstyle is the best part. The random weapons mechanic makes the game feel varied even if there's just 4 of them.

Very well polished game, loved the graphics and the sound fits perfectly.

The web build suffers from some initial lag spikes, most likely linked to the particle effects being compiled on the fly, you may want to preload them during the game load time to cover up the lag.

Well done!

Visuals and sound effects are amazing and they create a good atmosphere. I like the spin mechanic for the weapon choice however when I try to throw the bombs I got game crash twice and I don't know why and I didn't have the same crash with other weapon types. Congrats.

Developer

Yep, freeze happen on the first time you throw dynamite, then disappear after 3 to 10secs. After this freeze, you can die infinite time or throw infinite dynamte, it won't lag anymore.

Enjoyed it quite a lot, couldn't stop coming for more. In my opinion:

- Loved the art and the sound. Overall, it captures really well the vibe.
- Liked the idea of the weel to make players adapt to different situations.
- Liked the attack patterns and it never felt unfair. Because of this, I kept trying again when I died.
- Personally, my biggest feedback is that I missed having some basic UI with a health bar or the number of hits I could take.

Hey ! Your life is shown by the big Yellow SpotLights on the stage. 1 hit = 1 light goes down. When you clear a cycle you get a light back. When you are in the red/dark ambiance, it mean you are right about to die if you take one more hit. Our idea was to make a game with no UI for fitting good with the theater theme, and I can admit that the understanding of the player's life and what the player sees isn't always clear. I hope you'll take another try to finally figuring this out :-)

Aaaaaah, my bad then, thanks for telling me! I'll give it another pass :) I think it's a good idea and design choice, but maybe could use a bit of reinforcement, like the light blinking before going off or on, to catch player's attention

You're right ! We just had no more time to do it...

Awesome! I enjoyed this one and the idea is really unique. CoOl!

Very nice atmosphere and has an addicting feel to it! The attacks were a bit hard to aim, but slowly got used to them so the experience got better.

A very interesting and addictive game! The laughter sound effect when getting hit is really catchy. The gameplay design uses a roulette mechanic to add randomness, and the difficulty of dodging attacks feels just right.

The game feels very polished—great job!

I really like the style of the game a lot. Only real issue I encountered were a few slow downs on the first time I saw an attack or two and then when I used the dynamite for the first time my game froze. Other than that this is a great entry.

I really enjoyed the movement and the ground effect on movement. The attacks were a little bit difficult to time with their aim being dependent on that instantaneous heading. I really appreciated the multiple axes for movement, but it wasn't apparent to me at first.

I love the atmosphere of the game! Really reminded me of cuphead and had a wonderful little 'spin' on it!

I really liked the way you move around and the art style. I had a lot of fun playing your game. Great Job.

Cinematic gameplay in 2.5 D fashion!

I really like the way you can move around and how it's presented in the game.

The crowd laughing when you get hit is a nice touch, reminds me of super mario sunshine when you die and it plays a horn and makes you feel like the game is laughing at you.

This was alot of fun good job!

Very interesting game, liked the way you guys used the spin theme mechanic to alter how the player is able to fight back. I think the boss's attacks are well timed and allow players to have time to avoid them correclty. BGM and SFX fit perfectly for the theatre enviroment of the game, nice choice. Reminds me a bit about Cuphead, the feelings and vibes i guess. Visuals are very interesting as well. I loved the UI, but sometimes it blends with the background, since both have the same color. Good job! :D

Interesting concept. Gave me anxiety.

Please rate my duck game when you have time.

Hey I really like the idea that the player plays an clown at the theater and get mocked by audiences once hit by the boss, and the weapon player uses is chosen by the roulette. Very interesting and I had a lot of fun!

I like the part when the audience laughed at me so I killed the host because this is a society

I love the idea that the boss is the roulette wheel watching you the whole time, and that it indirectly chooses the weapon you can use against it.

Well done!

Interesting game! I like that there's an audience watching the fight

really cool game, liked the art and the music was fantastic. liked the whole concept of the game as a whole. didnt  got how the beach ball was thrown, by the mouse or by the players rotation at first but figured it out eventually. really solid game that I like.
