I like the cutscene a lot! And your implementation of the theme is really creative. Control will need some work to be more intuitive in my opinion.

Developer

Thank you for the feedback!

How should I improve the controls?

Submitted(+1)

I think the attack range should be longer. I know it is short to increase difficulty, but you have to get really close to the enemies to damage them. When you attack, your character cannot move for a moment, I think its unecessary in a fast paced game like this and make the control a bit stiff.

Developer

For the attack range it is intended because otherwise enemies later on would be too easy while the stopping while attacking, yes, that could use some work :)

Thank you for the in depth explenation!

Love the intro, love the game concept of the arena changing depending on the wheel! I think the wind-up to the attack should be a bit shorter, especially for a more fast-paced game like this. Nice job!

Developer

Thanks for the feedback!

Nice game and quite good idea for enemies very good take on the theme. Bit hard to get use to the combat but still good game and good work on it

That intro goes hard, and that creep wont stop following me around, fight me wheel of elements >:(! haha but seriously really good game, tough but a great take on the theme

just gave me a whole cinematic experience with the opening cutscene, great implimentation of the spin mechanic.

Those enemies are so tricky and the earth quake cutscene is so well done! Good job!

Developer

Thank you!

The intro cutscene is a really cinematic and hooked me right in. Talking about gameplay, the combat felt a bit stiff, but its fun to play. Good job!

The cutscenes? Absolute cinema! ✋👨‍🦳🤚

The game itself has a really interesting concept with huge potential and solid replayability (which is no easy feat!). That said, the combat feels a bit off, which is a big deal since it plays such a key role.

I really enjoyed the puzzle elements and the overall atmosphere — it all comes together really well!

Developer

Thanks for the feedback!

The idea behind the combat is that it's really precise, I hope it being kinda difficult didn't take away from the rest of the game!

Fun game with a lot going on, I really liked the little intro cutscene, but I was left a bit confused on how to enter the first level.
I liked the music and the intuitive gameplay, but felt the combat was a bit unfair/overly difficult and could just use some minor tweaks.

Submitted(+1)

i liked music good job

That intro cutscene was a like a full trailer. Nice!
The pixel art is dope and the gameplay tweaks are good

Developer

Thanks!

Felt a little weird seeing a game after so cinematic exposition. Game was interesting, but some of the bosses attacks are too hard to dodge. Controls are intuitive, gameplay is good.

Developer

We worked really hard on that intro cutscene, I'm happy you liked it!

The second and third boss were a bit rushed because of lack of time so I just ended up putting the target signs to telegraph the attacks

Submitted(+1)

Good cutscene and background story but an warning sign to tell the player that you need to get the lighting over the red circle would be beneficial. Because it took me some time to figure out how to open that door and should I need to heal continuously :-)

Developer

Thank you for the feedback!

Maybe I should have expanded on the intro dialogue to explain the lightning mechanic, glad you eventually managed to get that door open anyay!

Submitted

It's really good :D

Developer

Thanks!

Super creative use of the theme, seeing this expanded into a puzzle-platformer would be super cool!

Developer(+1)

Thank you!

I planned to add full-game elements such as the ability to go back to older rooms, but there wasn't the time

Maybe after the jam ends I'll turn this into a larger game!

5 stars! ;)

Developer

Thank you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Man that intro is EPIC! I could see myself putting more time into a game like this, I like the platform puzzle elements and the effects of the wheel. Having to get the lightning to hit the activation swtich is inspired. Graphically it reminded me of rotoscoped games like prince of persia, great work.

Developer(+1)

Thank you!!!!

We worked really hard on that cutscene, glad you liked it!

Brutal, very cool style, and clever use of the Spin theme!

Developer(+1)

Thank you!!!

Hope it wasn't too hard!

Submitted(+1)

It was pretty hard, but took a few tries to get a feel of the controls and how things worked! :)

Submitted(+1)

Cool neon graphics at story. Good idea how area is debuffed from wheel.
