How does your game fit the theme?
It seems like it's so calm and you just keep scoring - but watch out.... It's the calm before the storm!
Did you write all the code and made all the assets from scratch?
I created a vast majority of the code from scratch. Any assets used should be credited on the itch.io page.

Very simple concept, executed well enough. The art is crude, but kinda charming. It felt like the coins should have spawned in different spaces, but they only spawned on the left side. The cloud turning to storm happened suddenly, giving no chance to dodge it.
It intentionally spawns only there for now, so does the cloud suddenly spawning while you are there, but I could see your point on how there might be potential to improve on both. Thanks, really appreciate the feedback, and nice job on your game!
Good job, i love the pixelart:D
Simple platformer game with not too much depth in mechanics. Main menu could have been improved, maybe having a font and buttons fitting to the whole game pixel art style.
Coins seems to always spawn in the same location (left platform), and the cloud target is way too easy to hit. Also the powerups prompt you with a wall of text with some values in them, and a "multiplier", which should be more gamified or rapresented as some sort of x10 or charged bar. A numeric value makes me think I need to make my own math in the head to calculate if it's a benefit or not. Atleast in the powerup wall of text it informs you of the previous & after amount of points you'll have once using the powerup, so that was a nice quality of life feature.
Finally I think movement mechanics are good but the jump feels a lit too floaty compared to the horizontal speed, making it really easy to aim at the target)
took a bit to get used to but once I did I really enjoyed trying to hit the targets without touching the cloud- super interesting idea. I'd be curious to see how the game would play on a larger map, maybe with multiple clouds
Very nice base game. I think some variation in where stuff spawned in random places would be fun.
You did awesome with the difficulty balance, I enjoyed it!
I enjoyed this. But I would prefer being able to attack the cloud right away. Waiting for the target to appear makes the storm feel a bit annoying.
The game is very smooth and the music/sfx goes well with the gameplay.
Would have liked some more variety in the game play but I understand the limitations of the game Jam.
Kudos!! Really good one.
jump felt very floaty if held down for long enough but overall fun game would look into adding settings as game could get a bit loud at times
Cool concept, I like the idea! What I would focus on to work is platforming physics (the jump is very strange) and the overall visuals. Still a nice entry!
Cute little game! I feel bad for the cloud, it seems sad when its idling and seems excited to finally able to chase you lol
The jump and coyote time feels nice, its a nice game.
I would wish for more challenge in the storm phase
The game was pretty neat little thing. I enjoyed the princess peach float that was added instead of a double jump.
Pretty fun with simple mechanics, perhaps the coins should spawn in more spread out locations. Tradeoff purchases is definitely a good idea and works well in this game.
Good job!
fun game; i like the trade off system, and audio is very nice!
Cute little game! Buying extra time and lives with your own score is an interesting idea. Makes sense for a risk-reward scenario. Maybe make the coin spawn in different places? It was only spawning in a certain location when I was playing it. Maybe also changing the backgrounds (or even platforms) over time would make it feel fresh?
These are just suggestions though. Overall, good entry.
Cheers!
Very interesting, small and cute game. :D
So much personality packed into such a simple setup!

From the music changes to the abrupt pop-ups appearing when I grab what I assumed was "simply" health and time, I loved every bit of this charming little setup of 4 platforms and a cloud boss fight :DI really like the idea of having to sacrifice score to get more health or time, very unique! A simple but fun game :)
Cool game man! Love the concept. Keep up the good work :) Quick note is that I would recommend tuning the platforming a little bit. Jump is a bit janky.
