Game is cool but i accidentally bricked my run by spending my gold wrong at the start before i understood the game lol. Want to give it another shot later. Art is cool too.
Managed to get to level 100 after a few restarts because I had nobody making gold after the first storm hit.
Wouldnt mind a few tooltips at the start but very polished game after 7 days!
10/10 would create my empire only to be destroyed by a few windy boys again
Very nice doodle artstyle, everything's clear, easy to read and intuitive, the gameplay loop is great and I didn't encounter any bugs so far. For the people that love games like this I recommend ISLANDERS and Dorfromantik.
One of my favorite submissions so far!
this game slaps :)
This is dope. Unique take on city builders, the fact that you create the actual land itself puts a twist on the genre that makes you feel like a gardener, i like it. My only real gripe with this game is that there isn't more, which is probably a good sign. Definitely puts the 'calm' in calm before the storm, feels like Sid Meyers mixed with Animal Crossing. Maybe the late game could use some work, felt like after turn 100 or so there was nothing else to do but make it look pretty, which i like but i really wish there was something else to spend resources on, which just shows how good the gameplay loop itself is that I can't help but want to do more. 9/10
Loved unpacking the cards. Beautiful game.
Given the short amount of turn actions it would have been great to fast forward the animations between turns.
I liked the calm atmosphere, art and card unpacking! Although too often I coudn't play any card because I didn't have proper resources and understanding what should I pick to put myself in better situation.
Great game! A bit hard to grasp at the beggining but quickly found a strategy an "won" on my first try. Pretty sure i can skip all days to eternity and not lose with this build. Maybe storms scaling in strength would add challenge and an arrow to show where their next move will be to increase player strategizing. GJ overall!
Really big scope for a jam game. I found it very challenging to defend against storms. They all ravaged my town. If there were buildings that could deflect them, or just a stronger tutorial on how to manage around them it would be very helpful. Regardless, this is a lot of good work for a jam game, and I hope you intend on expanding it, as this is a cool tile town sim.
So the storm came, we lost half of our people and 1 fifth of the hp, the idea is fine, but the implementation...
Good game, i've spend my evening on the game. And that's not over x)
Sometimes is not fair the cards you get with the resources you have and it's difficult to keep building... or you have to wait too many turns to get some villagers... other than that, very nice idea, reminds me of Catan, nice work
Very nice game! I liked the tile building and the art style, I do feel like it could use a few more things, like moving villagers and telling you the amount of resources you are getting, but overall a very fun game!
Perfect, really satisfying, i might be hooked ! I really enjoyed my play, but sadly i had to stop at one time because it held me on too much haha, very well made ! had no bugs, well balanced, damn good job.
i had a bug on day 3 where it just froze
but playing again was very nice! i love the 'cascadia' feel of it
The idea is really neat, although it is difficult to get the right cards sometimes, I got hooked playing
A relaxing resource management/strategy game which I can imagine playing on my phone to pass the time.
Fun game, dragging from cards can be improved but overall all good.
I really enjoyed the game. It's a mix of urban planning and card games, and it's so cute! It's one of my favorites right now. I love it! <3
That was surprisingly fun and addictive!
