How does your game fit the theme?
Lighthouse Keeper embodies the theme by starting with a tense, quiet period where the player, as a lone lighthouse keeper, prepares for an approaching storm by performing routine tasks. This initial calm slowly builds tension as the environment worsens, transitioning from peaceful isolation to the chaos of violent winds and vengeful spirits rising from the sea. The storm serves not only as a physical threat but also as a metaphor for the unraveling of hidden dangers and mysteries, creating a stark contrast between the calm preparation and the supernatural chaos that follows.
Did you write all the code and made all the assets from scratch?
Yes, I wrote the code and Liam made the assets and music within the week.

Great sound, nice graphics and cool game design! Well done bro!:)
damn I love the art style and atmosphere!
I like the tone of the game very cool.
I like the tone of the game very cool.
Super cool! I really enjoyed this game. Really good atmosphere, definitely got the theme on point. I love the visual style. Great job. I was able to make it 26 minutes before I ran straight into a ghost because I was looking at the tasks.
Cool game! Great atmosphere, calm but foreboding. I enjoy the aesthetic of the game a lot.
Gameplay concept is interesting. I found it the most fun/engaging when i had a choice to do a more urgent task (that has less time) or one that was further away (takes more time). for instance you can put off refilling the generator for a while because it's near the shed, but the docks are far and take more planning and investment. There might be more of those moments if the timers and/or distances were longer and/or more varied.
The added element of repelling ghosts while running around doing tasks adds a nice extra thing to account for.
Great job :3
I liked the style and also the camera work is top notch. Good tutorial helped to understand the gameplay loop, which is a big plus! Thanks for the emotions!
I love psx style games! Cool map and great atmosphere :)
Great job, this is really well made and super impressive for a game jam game! It looks amazing, atmosphere is feels good.

Well done! :D
Thanks for playing and thank you for the great feedback :)
Adored the atmosphere in this- if you were expand on it, I think it could be interesting to add more varied tasks to the island. Had a lot of fun though and was thoroughly impressed. Thanks for creating this!

Let Brackeys strike ye game Jacob_Lister22! HAAARK!
Hark Jacob_Lister22, hark! Bellow, bid our father the Brackeys rise from the depths full foul in his fury! Black waves teeming with salt foam to smother this young game with pungent slime, to play ye, engorging your mechanics til’ ye turn blue and bloated with bilge and brine and can game no more -- only when he, crowned in cockle shells with slitherin’ tentacle tail and steaming beard take up his fell be-finned arm, his coral-tine trident screeches banshee-like in the tempest and plunges right through yer gullet, bursting ye -- a bulging bladder no more, but a blasted bloody film now and nothing for the harpies and the souls of dead sailors to peck and claw and feed upon only to be lapped up and swallowed by the infinite waters of the Dread Emperor himself -- forgotten to any game jam, to any player, forgotten to any game engine, forgotten even to the Itch.io, for any stuff for part of Jacob_Lister22, even any scantling of your game is Jacob no more, but is now itself the Brackeys!
Impressive! Nice concept, great art, well done!
Thanks for playing i really appreciate it!
Nice work! I would definitely play again
Awesome thank you I appreciate that!
The visuals of the game were really cool, I liked the concept but the controls were pretty annoying I would have rathered moved with wasd than clicking with mouse but it's still a great game :)
Thanks for playing and thank you for the feedback! I agree the movement definitely needs some thought, i pushed a hotfix for the character getting stuck in circles so let me know if you end up playing again!
I liked the gloomy atmosphere and environment. Running around and doing tasks was also fun. Good job, guys!
Thanks for playing and thank you for the feedback! Really appreciate it! :)
The controls were quite smooth, I quickly got the hang out it. The camp / shed I had some problems with the character keeps running around the shed and I'm unable to access it. The time limit on those tasks becomes a bit of a problem since getting from one side to another takes a long time. The ghosts were interesting, they die to one flicker of the lantern not really a big problem.
The sound design work wonders! I like the pixelatedness of the game too.
Overall, very polished, except the shed, but that's just one thing amongst the other amazing aspects of the game. Very well done people!
Thanks for playing and thank you for the feedback! Really appreciate it!
This game nails the theme! Inmediately reminded me of the movie Lighthouse. Good work guys!
Only had a bit of trouble with the controls and the interaction with the supply camp.
Thanks for playing and thank you for the feedback! Really appreciate it!

Thanks for playing and thank you for the feedback! Just played yours i love how eerie and spooky it feels! Great job
Awesome graphics and I really liked game's perspective. Atmosphere was spot on and everything was running smoothly. Difficulty could be balanced easily, but I think its lacking depth in basic gameplay loop. Some good storyline can make this game really amazing. Again big big applause for the graphics and also sound design.
Thanks for playing and thank you for the feedback! I'm glad you enjoyed playing it!
