Hi!

Passed the game!

Quite innovative!

It would be nice to have a button to speed up the playback of all the steps of the scene, as everything takes too long now. It would also be good to give an opportunity to play again after finishing the game, in this case it would be possible to implement random placement of objects on the map so that each restart is unique. I liked the treadmill!

I was also pleased that the font was extremely pleasant and readable :).

Great job, congratulations!

Big fan of the audio! The game pace was a little slow for my taste. I think a fast-forward button to move through the turns would be nice. I liked how you had to really plan your moves! Great work!

Excellent work on the laser-impact effects, SE ,  and audio.

For my taste I kinda prefer cards-dealing instead of dealing with the panel.

Also some indicator-text that shows the robot left hand and right hand would be great.

A preview of your steps will also be a good quality of life change.

Still on the first level stho.

Awesome work! I completed the level, took a while though. The game pace is too slow. Smaller levels would really help this game. Well done!

Developer(+1)

Thank you very much!

Yes, smaller levels and more of them would be much better.

Starting with a tutorial.

And having different tasks to fulfill.

And more different elements, that affect the gameplay (pushers, rotating elements, or even POWER-UPS?)

And NPC-robots that move with a purpose (currently they just move randomly)

Also, i guess currently one of the most fun parts of the gameplay does not shine through: the other robots will push you around. That should make the planning of your steps a bit more chaotic.

Impressive work, good job mixing all the audio, I gave that a go myself just now. Thanks for the tip. The graphics look great especially considering  it's all code. Made it to the end, but I got lucky.

This was really cool, especially for under 13k. Good job!

very catchy music, great work.

Impressive work for such a small file size! A speed up button would be a nice addition.

Oh yeah, 13kb! Congrats on getting it there (I didn't even try).

I love a good puzzle game and this one is very fun. Your UI is very immersive and you feel like you are controlling a robot in a factory.

A small note, I'm not sure the reset button works as I would assume it does.

Developer

Thx!

Hm, the reset-button... initially it cleaned all steps, inbetween I changed it to set "powerdown" on all steps... in the end i forgot about it. until you mentioned it. :-)

But you are right, currently it is a bit useless ...

GREAT GAME!! the robots looks cool

A very well made game made even more impressive by the fact you managed to fit it in under 13kB! I liked the art and gameplay, and also enjoyed the cover of hysteria lol. Nice work!

I really like the idea on this one and I felt the art/audio played well together. The biggest feedback I would say is that the map actually may be a bit too big for the style of gameplay. Trying to make it to any of the enemies takes a ton of time. I also wasn't sure which robot was mine at first but that was a minor thing. Overall, really impressive how much you got in for such a small file size and once it gets the going, the game is pretty fun. Nicely done!

Pretty impressive. Thanks for open sourcing your project.

Really well made game!

Wow damn, i feel like it has to be delivered on a floppy with a black and white printed manual. Great entry!

Developer

Thx. In fact, it could fit over 130 times on one of this old 3,5 inch floppies :D

you should do it. Copy the file 130 times onto a floppy and send it to itch.io headquarters

At first i was a bit confuse becaus i didn't understand what robot was under my control. Once i get it it was fun, looking forward for new levels!

I found the turns mechanic very intresting. Maybe consider to add a fast forward or a set of buttons for timing controls, it will be smoother.

Great job!

I finally did it yes ! The game is very cool.

Perhaps integrate a fast forward option because the game has a rather slow pace. I don’t know how you were able to do that in just 10kb it’s a technical feat from my point of view, well done

Submitted(+1)

loved it. looking forward to more levels

and to looking at the code!! thanks for that too. (tries to think of clever trap)

Interesting game. Very well made and has a nice soundtrack.

The game is a bit slow paced. If you decide to improve it, i would have a much smaller tutorial level, because it's confusing to have to understand all the game mechanics at once, and there's no way to undo any mistakes either! But overall a good game.

Developer(+1)

Thx!

In fact i really will start to do a post-jam version of it, as the 13kb challenge and the timeframe was quite hard again :-)

Plans, so far:

  • more (many) levels, starting with a (skippable) tutorial
  • more intelligent other robots (currently they just move randomly)
  • more different robots
  • more mission types, not only "stop all others". (like "deliver this screwdriver to the red robot" etc.)
  • more chaos in the factory (currently only the conveyorbelts and the other robots are pushing you around)
  • ...

Good game
