You really achieved a suspenseful atmosphere! I also appreciate the intuitive flow of the game. Well done!

What a cool game!  I love the atmosphere you created, and the background music was amazing for building tension.  Great job!

I really dig the style! The movement took some getting used to, but I like how different it is.

Noice!

wow, that was really impressive. it looks like a cute pixelart rpg, but the whole "camp" feels more like a nazi concentration camp or a prisoner of war camp and the story of two people trying to make sense of that and the wall that seperates them while only being able to communicate in a very limited way - these are some hefty topics, but handled really mature, imo. I liked that the settings was kept rather vague and as a player you start to fill out the blanks yourself. to that extend the limited graphics and dialog made a lot of sense and the music of course *chefskisses*.

here are some little suggestions if you are interested:
- I get that you wanted the minimal pixel-art-grey-block-world to appear a little more atmospheric by using these shadows/shades, but it kinda broke the art style by showing round circles everywhere. you could try downscaling these to the same resolution as the rest of the game, maybe add some dithering to it?! or smoother shading, that doesn't make the circles as visible? as it is right now I really found it distracting
- the sneaking felt a bit unfair at times and forced you to do trail and error, because you couldn't see where guards are coming from or where there were going. maybe some subtle foot-prints that players could pick up on to understand the route?
- was the girl basically in the same situation as the boy, only in a different area? that would rob the wall the function of define inside and outside and would lesser the feeling of being caged in by it. I think it would be more impactful, if the other side of the wall actually symbolizes freedom and the girl is just concerned and helpful while you are basically a prisoner. or the other way around.

ok, that were my 2 cents. again: great work!

I really liked how the two characters communicated with each other. I don't know if there were multiple endings but my ending felt a little abrupt. But I get that it's a game jam so maybe had to cut a few things. But this was a cool story :)

A unique take on the theme! I think from all the games I tried, you're the only one to introduce stealth mechanics, it's pretty refreshing. Nice work with the camera too and a good story to boot!

Nice submission! Different from what I've seen in this jam! Nicely done! I liked the stealth gameplay and the communication between NPC's via TOP-DOWN :)

Cool concept. The stealth gameplay is nice, require you to look at the guard behavior to plan your next move. Object placement is some stage felt weird to me. Nice story. Didn't expect it to end like that. The BGM was nice.

Good game.

Really good submission! managed to complete it! Nice gameplay, cool story. Top-down stealth on the point

Very fun game!! Really liked how you designed player interactions, quite unique. :)

Great job!

Liked your mechanics.  Congratulations on a successful game!

Music and the camera effects was really good, they worked together well. First level for me was somehow bugged, I couldn't get out of it, so I had to manually choose level 2 to get there (or I just missed something).

I liked the artwork as well and the feeling of the game. Gameplay itself for me wasn't the most intriguing but that's just one persons opinion :)

Trump would be proud! haha but jokes aside that was a great game ! I was actually sad when it ended. reckon you should continue this game its actually a great idea.

The ambiance is tense and creepy and that is perfect for this sort of story where there's a lot of mystery. I found myself telling my character "Hurry up man!" as I tried (and failed lol) to escape the guards by brute force. Once I decided to get a little more strategic, it was better. Good work! I really liked the communication style between the two top-down characters.

You had 10 days to know how high it is, but you decided to ask us, anyway, good luck, poor wall

I really like the mysterious vibes the game gives, the quiet ambient music really added to that. You created a world that I'd be really interested in exploring more of.  Side note: the animations of the characters communicating  on paper were kind of adorable.

Very engaging gameplay, the sombre jail environment blended nicely with the story. I loved the camera panning and the mechanics as well. The communication between characters was a bit off, but the story was intriguing nonetheless. Left me in a bit of a cliffhanger, so I hope we're going to find out how long the wall is XD (Ghio)

Nice gameplay & love the implementation of the theme, but there's this bug where when the player collide with enemy, its stuck.

Took me 2nd playthrough to understand the story and noticed that they never met. Maybe slow down a bit when the text is shown would be nice.

At first, I thought the enemy is a dead body. getting chill all sudden  when Nance is replaced by the enemy. Glad to see her alive and well, but who knows how long is this wall.

The mechanics are solid, the movement is smooth and the camera pan is pretty cool.

The detailed animations are pretty good.

running through many levels without even knowing whats up doesnt feel very mysterious tho.
