How does your game fit the theme?
The player wizard has a shadow twin. Both the twins have their souls "joined together", meaning they move via the same player input, have the same health/mana and will both die if either of them dies

Nice job!

Like many here, I liked the art.

I thought it was clever that the game taught you how to open the boxes by having you accidentally shoot one open while attacking enemies on the other side.

For a post-jam version, I'd like to see maybe a 2nd attack, and enemies w/ attack patterns that make it harder to kite them around. This is plenty for 48 hours though!

cool pixel art and nice take on the theme!

Fun game, should think about adding enemy hp indicator and more mana / mana potions (which save in inventory).

Awesome pixel art! The fight was a bit hard, but it is very cool to have a sprint. Cool that you can start from the last checkpoint when you died, more game in the jam missed this function! Congrats! ^^

Got stuck in the room 2-7, red wizard got left behind in other room haha I don't think that was intended. Still liked the game nonetheless! Rogue-like puzzle game? what not to like? Just it felt like it needed a bit more life, maybe that would have been achieved with sound!

That was a lot of fun! the puzzles and combat were well thought out and had me using my brain! great work!

fun. needing to switch my eyes between screens was less annoying than I thought it would be. bugs are annoying but that's to be expected from a jam game. overall, nice little action game.

I think this was a common interpretation of the theme, but the art looked really nice! :)

Maybe I should have given it more time but I've played one too many linked controls games. That said I enjoyed it and the presentation was top notch for a jam game, well done!

was good fun, the idea isn't especially original, but it was executed pretty well, the shooting was a little bit annoying as i found that i wasn't shooting in the intended direction a lot. music and sound was nice, though very loud. the boss could have maybe benefited from more attacks or something. as it stands i found the room with a large hoard of ghosts far more difficult than the boss itself. overall was a fun play, Good Job!

Nice work! Would've been nice if there was some music.

This game fits the theme so well! Beautifully done.

Really nice art, and awesome music. Personally, I would've liked the music to ramp up a bit in the boss fight, but that's just me being nit-picky. The concept was fun, and the story explanation for the mechanic was really cute! I feel like more could've been done with the mechanic itself however. Overall, a very endearing and nicely polished fun game. Well done

An interesting take on the linked controls idea! I found the controls kind of unsuited to the having to line the wizards up differently for things like doors, it was just annoying without much real puzzling difficulty. The battles were fun, but I wanted more to care about with the second character in each fight. I found the last battle especially sad in this respect, it was just a long kiting game. More engaging fighting would really make this stand out! Overall good job for the jam though!

Hey! There's some good ideas here, but a few things took away from the experience for me. You need to turn around to shoot, and its difficult to not get hit when you need to stop to shoot. I was really missing twin stick controls. Also running out of mana didn't feel good. There wasn't a good way to conserve mana really, you just had to strafe until it recharged.  Great effort, and congratulations on finishing a game!

Really cool game! Just the right amount of difficulty, and the mechanics were fun to explore. Great work!

Very nice submission! The difficulty ramp felt right. The big boi was appropriately difficult. You approached the "split screen where you control both character" mechanic really well. It made me think but didn't feel frustratingly difficult. I especially liked the synergy in level design where the left was collecting mana while the right was fight ghouls.

Very dope :D

Lovely game! It was a bit difficult at first but thanks to the sprint button I was able to get through. Good job with the game!

The overall feeling of your game is awesome! It was interesting to interact and solve puzzles with how the room layout was designed.
