How does your game fit the theme?
We implemented a multiplayer (two person) boss rush game where the two players must attack together in order to create synergistic spell combinations that deal more damage than without to the enemy. As not all spell combinations result in beneficial effects, players must think on their feet in order to choose their desired spell combos in the short amount of time provided. In other words, the players must synchronize (join together) their attacks in order to win against the enemies they face.

Love the art, animation. Would love to have some indication on how long still have to choose cards. Other than that, I can see some great potentials!
Nice artwork :) Love the style!
A bit more explanation what the numbers on cards mean and what combos are good would be a great addition to the game
Thath was very charming! The reaction based system can be quite exciting as well, maybe an indicator for how much time is left would be nice. I like the music and enemy designs :)
Awesome game! the characters / art were really nice, would've been cool to have some feedback for the spells, but otherwise I really enjoyed the game. :D
Presentation is very good. However, the unconnected music tracks and the funny-but-random enemies left the game feeling incoherent. Perhaps, tying the three bosses together at least visually would have worked better?
I failed to notice any correlation between the enemy and what cards they took the most damage from. Power level being placed on the card makes me feel conflicted: on one hand, it creates an extra line to read, making it somewhat harder to decide on the combo in the short time given, on the other - that very fact rewards the fast (hence skilled) players. It also somewhat undermines the importance of combinations (from how it felt, at least), going somewhat against the intended flavour.
Overall, I enjoyed the game, mostly for its fast pace (and the neat voice acting); but if it is developed further, some stronger creative direction is necessary. For a jam game, though, it is a job well done!
I really liked the way the cards chosen by each player could stack for combos, it felt really satisfying!
Well done, nice idea!
As they said below, some player feedback would be really appreciated. The game is incredibly fun, but I think that the time for choosing the cards is really low, it makes it really hard to choose what you'll do. It could have a really short tutorial on the mechanics, just to teach the player how to play. The visuals are enchanting, I must say, and the dynamic gameplay makes it even more appreciated. I was thriling when I heard Through Fire and Flames, but I don't think that it is a good way to have battle music. Making your own music could be a great way to make the battles memorable and unique. As the game is really hard on timing, a bit of stress relief such as a storytelling bit could be really appreciated between levels, to manage the pacing of the game and make it more digestable.
Overall, great game! I really enjoyed the battle and mechanics, the visuals are really cute, being the thing that drawn me to the game, and the dynamic mechanics make it really engaging! Awesome job!
Missing some player feedback, but the visuals and animations are so cool! :o Love it ! also great thumbnail!!
Great visuals and fun music! I think the biggest thing missing was more player feedback but other than that? Great game!
Thank you so much! Could I ask you to give some examples of what you mean regarding player feedback? This is our first time so we really appreciate all of the advice we’ve gotten so far from comments!
The visuals are GREAT, LOVE THE MONSTERS AND AVATARS and the game runs really smoothly! Love the concept of this game so much it's got so much potential to become a full blown game
Never thought I'd see a card game force me to think this quickly! Love the cute art as well
Enemies only attack witch
For the enemy that does that, that's intended :)
Such a cute game! Would love to see more deckbuilding aspects added to the game. I love all the art and enemy designs!
Cute with some fun combinations and cute enemies too! Good Job!
Really fun to play! I had fun trying to figure out what cards to mix together for powerful combos. Also, I think that adding a deck menu where you could swap which character has what cards would be cool.
Big frogga is so cute.. too bad he had to DIE. Great visuals! Could so easily be added to as I think the visual style makes it unique! Cheers
Game has a great style and feel. Very Polished. Good job!
Really fun concept, had me wondering what the next boss was going to be. I had fun exploring synergies but the powerful ones seemed to be just combining two of the same elements.
I like the deckbuilding element too. I feel like there is some great potential here if polish and player feedback is improved a bit.
Fun mechanic, reminds a lot of magicka, but card based. Adding a timer for how long you can choose cards would be helpful. Good overall though!
Awesome work, I loved the artwork! Big Frogga is my spirit animal. Great stuff!
Thank you!! Frogga blesses you :D
