The character sprites and music in this game are really nice. The game is fun to play, its just a bit frustrating to keep getting stuck at the tight places, unable to move back the way I need to go. But all in all its a really nice game, I'm curious what you're going to do with it after the jam!

Developer(+2)

Thanks a lot! I'm glad you liked the game and the art! :)
I'm thinking about redoing the game, with more thought on ways to make the player less stuck :p

Great idea and the implementation feels great too! Of course the Levels could be prettier but the music is already a pretty awesome fit. There is one specific moment tho, where the flow is kind of broken. Getting stuck in tight spaces is a little frustrating. Would be cool if in some later iteration you can flow through the levels like in a "Getting over it" Speedrun. It has great potential!

Developer(+2)

Thank you so much! Yeah, the levels don't look good and the level design was kinda rushed (level 3 especially). That's something I'd love to rework in the game. Let's see  :)

Sooo addicting! I love the game! The music is perfect too! Well done!

Developer

That means a lot, thank you so much!

This game gave me flashbacks of Getting over it! Nice entry. I would personally prefer if I were able to detach some of the enemies to get into some close spaces.

Developer

Detatching the enemies is one of the things I want to implement in the next iteration of the game :)
I'm glad you liked it!

This is a really cool concept, and great visuals.  My one recommendation is that you make navigation a bit snappier -- I think the game would feel great if there wasn't a slow build up every time the knight tries to carry itself with the lance.

Still, this is a job well done.  Great submission to the game jam!

Developer

Thanks for the feedback and kind words! :)
I want to recreate the game and it's good to have those insights!

I'm glad I'm not the only one who used a knight with the red feather on top of his helmet!

The visuals can get a little more love, but otherwise it's a good game

Developer

I nudged my artistic friend to do these sprites for me. The result got him excited to actually jump into the project for the next jam so I'll probably have some animations ;p
Thanks a lot! your knight game is awesome by the way!

Nice game. Kind of reminds me of Deepest Sword but with that nice mix-up of adding to the length of the sword as you play the level. Fun idea!

Developer

I got inspired by it! :)

nice game.

The game mechanics were pretty good polished and the name is awesome!

Developer

Thank you very much! :)

Pretty cool concept! It's also fun to play. It just needs some visual polishing. Also, i got stuck once because when the hedgehog(i'll assume they are hedgehog) merge with the lance, the tip of the lance was facing the platform, so when the hedgehog merge with the lance, it was below the platform and i got stuck.

Developer

Thank you very much! :)
Hahahahaha yeah, I've seen that happening before but I felt it was too rare to be a deal breaker during the jam, sorry about that... 😬

That was some fun game. At start I was not sure about the concept. But whole idea, smooth mechanic and a great music made me play for a while. Thanks for such a interesting game. Good Job

Developer

Thank you so much! :)

Really fun game with a nice mechanic! =D (Maybe I skipped level 3 because my brain got stuck^^")

Developer(+1)

Thank you so much! :)
Yeah... level 3 was mainly the reason for the level selection instead of just having a "start" button hahahaha

amazing idea great levels you have to think a bit about what to do but its not to hard. Feel like polishing visuals would have improved the overall game more than having more levels. Good job

Developer

Thanks a lot for the kind words and feedback! I'd like to remake this with better visuals (especially the levels), better level design and some other physiscs polishes.

Simply amazing, congrats!

Developer

Yours is great as well! ;)
Thank you very much!!!

I thought I'm going to play something like Getting Over It. Glad I didn't!

Love the concept and the level design. There's a lot you can expand from the idea. Good job!

Developer

Hahahaha I initially was inspired by Deepest Sword, but it ended up looking like Getting Over It. I'm glad it's not the same kind of frustrating experience :)

Really cool concept, I really enjoy physics based movement games such as this one. Got stuck a few times, but I guess that is part of the challenge to avoid.

The knight artwork in particular is really awesome!

Developer

Thanks a lot! The artists will be glad to hear that! :)
