I like how odd the gameplay is that it matches its yokai theme, or at least that's how I thought about it! It sounds too wacky to me and I am all for it. Also the graphics are cute!

What a fun game! I love the music, the sound effects, the graphics, everything. There's a lot of good strategy to be had when your enemies are both a threat and your only way of attacking.
If I could change just one thing, I wish there was a sound effect when you lost health so it was easier to notice being hit.
Brilliant aesthetic! Fun to play.
And the main mechanic does make for some strategic choice, like keeping the club demons alive.
I loved the aesthetic! I liked the ability to reuse the ones you match to create bigger combos, which were very satisfying! Screen wide smashes \o/
I love the style of this game! The characters are so cute, and you can tell that a lot of work went into them. The little cymbal demon has serious mascot potential.
The mace was definitely the strongest yokai, and since they don’t disappear after you match them, I kept using the same group over and over to keep eliminating new waves. But these are just small complaints. I think this game could really flourish with some sort of fleshed out release!
I love the art! The gameplay is fun! It'd be exciting to see more kinds of enemies and what kinds of attacks they let you do.
I got to wave 17 and got really good at linking a full-screen clear with the mace spirit.

This is really good game. The visuals are wonderful, the music is nice, but best thing is game design. Player is basically forced to do combos and wait until the last second to perform his powerful attack and kill everybody on screen.

Nice game, I love the graphics! Connecting a lot of the enemies into a huge chain and releasing an ultimate mace or stun (which is a really nice addition) was super duper satisfying. I encountered a bug where I couldn't draw after some point which made me lose -- also maybe a send next wave button could be nice? Either way, great job for a solo 48 hour game! Also the roomba bell guy in the last gif is super cute haha
