How does your game fit the theme?
Instead of playing completed microgames like in warioware, your job is to set them up for the AI to play. You want them to fail for you to win

Super fun!
!!!! So creative!!!
When I saw the premise, I was unsure how it would be executed but in the end it was actually a really great effort!
Also, I love how instead of just using darker colors for the shading, you use dithering. Really gives me WarioWare DIY vibes.
Would love to see this refined and expanded on. Like, for example, making the AI learn your patterns.
All in all though, great game! Hope you had fun making it and participating!
Thanks! Yeah it was difficult to come up with microgames because I wanted their to be enough to do on each side, so some microgame ideas I just couldn't work out how to flip them, thanks the art style came about from time constraints and WarioWare style, I used asespetie and all lines were done with a high density spray tools, and the in built dithering tool for a lof of the backgrounds! I love WarioWare DIY it was definitely a bit of an inspiration, used to love playing my games on DS and then transferring them to the Wii. That's a great suggestion, I've also seen PvP thrown around as a cool thing to add later, il definitely look at both. Thankyou again :)
Cool idea! I'd love to see you expand on this. :D Bario is Bae.
Thanks for playing! I'm glad Bario is getting some love I'm not sure if his name subconsciously comes from Budget-Wario but he doesn't need to know that
Nice! Loved the minigame frenzy, and unique concepts for minigames too due to the player-computer format as opposed to the normal one. Played each game 2-3 times. The chest one is IMPOSSIBLE for me haha! Must have been a lot of work to program the AI for some of the games. Very fun!
Thanks for playing! I'm glad you liked the concept! I appreciate you trying them multiple times :) Yeah I wanted to move the other items in the chest game to the right but ran out of time, I think if they were on the other side you could probably get 5 items in the chest which should increase your odds
This is hands down the most unique game I've played! Amazing job!
Thankyou for the really supportive comment, glad you enjoyed it!
Lol! Art is really cool, game is funny. I'm happy you made this. You did a great job.
Thanks! I'm glad you enjoyed it, it means a lot!
Nice art, and cool challenges. Micro they may be, but making this many different games in 48 hours is no mean feat. Wario would be proud.
Thankyou so much! That's a really kind comment :)
Excellent concept. Obviously needs a balance pass, but what jam game doesn't. Real potential here.
Thanks for playing and for the feedback! Appreciate the comment and that you see potential in the concept :)
Fun idea! The aesthetic grew on me and the minigames were quite fun. With more of a difficulty curve in endless mode it would definitely be more addicting. Great job on the AI!
Thanks for playing! Yeah that would be good, I think wario ware has 3 difficulties for most minigames, I was thinking for the road crossing one that you can have different people, perhaps an athlete thats fast for the hardest difficulty, and maybe reduce the 5 second timer. Thanks! The AI was quite interesting as it had to differ between games.
fun game but some of the minigames need balancing because some are super easy that take no skill to win while other i could not beat for the life of me. the art is very good though
Thanks for playing! Yeah I agree with you, the balancing needs addressing, thanks for the feedback, I'm glad you like the art style it was different to games I've made before
Fun game! Honestly there is already so much depth for a 48 hour entry haha. I think with more tweaking of the difficulty + mechanics of the microgames it can honestly create a super fun and dynamic experience. (Also the concept sounds like an epic two player versus game haha)
The graphics are pretty good and the design of the microgame showcases the concept really well. Great entry!
Thanks! That's really nice feedback :) Yeah I'm looking forward to seeing if I can do PvP in the future could be a fun party style mode, thanks they were quite refreshing to draw as they're a lot quicker to do that traditional small pixel art characters so glad to hear it went down well despite them being more rushed
Fun! There were some games that were easy to cheese (just hide ninja in a map corner, place a balloon at each corner of the map) and some I could just NOT beat (Tic-Tac-Toe was a difficult one that I got often).
All-In-All though, a fun concept!
Thanks! I think the balloon one was victim of having to move the camera further back to get WebGL working nicely, originally you couldn't move the balloons as far away, but thats definitely the optimal strategy, I wonder if it would be good to have the cursor start in a random position or potentially allow the cursor to screen wrap
Very cool!
Great work on the AI that plays the games! Cool idea, some of the games were pretty tough, others were simple to figure out.
Thanks for playing! Yeah the AI was difficult, it was like having to do twice as much work per game, a lot of the games have different cursor speeds as well to try and balance . Yeah Tic Tac Toe is very difficult haha, the Tic Tac Toe AI only does any strategy when its one away from winning and isn't aware of diagonals but its still difficult when you're predicting moves, I think if I add more in the future I may remove it or buff the player by letting them move first or something.
I had a lot of fun playing this, it's actually a clever idea. It felt like I got hide the ninja a disproportionate amount though. I basically got tic tac toe and ninja back to back on my first run haha. The other modes are all clever too though, I enjoyed the chest one the most.
The art is all in the same style which helps sell the charm of the game too. Good work :D
DUDE Tic Tac Toe is so common for some reason haha, its also brutal sometimes. The game just picks any game that wasn't the one you just played, would be good to add a weight system so microgames that haven't been picked gradually increase their likelihood of being picked. I'm glad the chest level was your favourite, it took the longest because the AI has to try and keep the chest lid open if it falls down.
Cool idea!
I tried making a micro game game jam game before (few what a senctence...) and it was way more work than I anticipated. Great work! It is to bad that these games are really easy to cheese against the AI. A Player Vs Player microgame is a really fun game though. If this was an in person event, I think this would attract a lot of laughs and competition. Great job :D
Thankyou for the feedback! Haha yes! I thought it'd be difficult but I found out the hard way, the chest game took forever to do because the AI had to know about keeping the chest open and physics be jank sometimes. I had a few microgames I didn't get time to implement because they took longer. I'd love to do a PVP mode, it was something I hoped I'd have time to work on, I was picturing it prompting you to pass the mouse, or close your eyes etc while the other person sets it up. I focused on the AI first just in case people didn't have anyone to play with.
Smart choice!
Awesome concept! I thought you did a really good job with the pacing, everything moved really fast which made it fun.
Thanks! When coming up with the idea I was originally on the fence about whether the setup phase should have a timer or not but I'm glad I went with it for play and setup, there's only one game that you get an instant fail on if you do nothing, which Is the chest game. It would get very broken, very fast because of it ending during level transitions, you can probably break the ninja game if you put the ninja exactly where the mouse spawns, haven't tried it yet
Hey someone else did a Wario Ware type thing! Great job.
Thanks! I thought there might be! I saw wario ware get mentioned in the GMTK discord while I was working on it! Il check it out when I start doing some ratings later today
Really nice presentation, I wish there were more games tho.
Thanks! I had a few more planned, one was the game asteroids where you time sending in the asteroids, and another was one where the AI would try and shut down a pc while you make virus popups get in the way to stop them to name a few. The chest one ending up taking a lot longer than I planned due to unity hinge physics being a pain, ended up using the last of my time to do the menus, bario and win/lose screens. Hopefully add some more in the future :)
I love warioware, I thought this was a really interesting role reversal, congrats!
Thanks! It was really difficult trying to come up with microgames that would work both ways, WarioWare Smooth Moves is my favourite, looking forward to the new one :)
