The game is really fun to play, excellent job on this game !
thanks!
Really fun rage game! Some notes:
- The interactive UI in the menus is clever, though if I didn't read the description I feel like I would've been a bit lost as to what to do to start the game in the main menu
- Love the stamina mechanic, and how it punishes you for taking the easy route (climbing with just hands)
- Skip level feature is great for a game jam game, nice work (its making me wish I implemented it into my own game haha)
- Using Godot is always a W
- The minimalist pixel style is impeccable, and the sfx/music fit it perfectly!
- My only criticism is that it can be sometimes quite hard to click on the hands or feet when they are flailing around, causing me to panic and fail. Not sure how you would fix this, it just was a point of frustration.
Great work all around!
wow, thanks for all the feedback! the UI definitely needs a better tutorial, so I'll keep that in mind post-jam. all your comments are great, thanks so much for taking the time!
It has beautiful gameplay and art. Maybe it would be better if you moved the camera a little further. Good job.
thanks for the nice comments!
I'll keep that in mind for the post-jam release
The climbing mechanic is super impressive and very unqiue! Liked the visual style as well! And only took me 30 seconds to figure out how to start! But I love it! Nicely done.
haha yeah, the start menu should have been a bit more clear i guess ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
thanks for the comments though!
Great System! I enjoy it a lot
thank you!
Hey great job Hobbes!

Very interesting game. Love the janky robot!
glad you enjoyed it!
I like the idea! and nice execution!
that's great to hear!
Really enjoyed the grabbing mechanics and was fun to play around and experiment with it!
thanks!
built to scale... a cliff! XD
you got it!
Most difficult part of the game: Pressing the start button. JK xD Really cool game... Love the popping sound when you grab an edge.
yeah maybe i should have added more instructions :0
you never know ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Nice game! And I definitely didn't yeet myself to go up fast XD. Theses games are why I like gamejams!
yeah its fun to mess with the physics XD
thanks for the nice comments!
This was really amusing but also relaxing lol. Glad to see another physics game!!
thank you!
The robot reminds me of Bender from Futurama which was amusing and I found this game to be pretty meditative, the stamina was a great addition!
oh yeah, never thought of that! thanks!
Really polished game! Enjoyed the stamina aspect so that I couldn't just cheese every level!
thanks! after a couple playtesters beat the game in like 2 minutes i thought i needed to add some difficulty :)
I really really enjoyed the pressure you put by adding stamina based on how many limbs are holding onto something, as well as the non-overlapping mechanic of the limbs.
A really nice touch was your menu and end game menu, where you have to use the climber's hands to click on the button, 'start' 'restart' and etc.
I like the SFX that you added and the assets used. Overall great fun game to spend your time on, good job!
wow, thanks for all the nice comments!
Great concept! It's deceptively simple at first but the ragdoll physics really gave it a challenge. Good work.
thanks! i'm glad you liked it!
Interesting concept, I like it. Hard to move around at first tho.
yeah, i should have done some more playtesting. thanks for the feedback, though!
I may not be a man who has played many climbing games, but I thought this one was great! Art and music went perfectly together with it!
Would be very grateful if you tried our game!
thanks for the feedback! unfortunately, since I'm runnning macos i can't play your game, sorry.
No bother, our fault for not putting it on macos.
Super fun game with neat tutorial system and an appropriate menu. Good job!
thanks!
