Man It's actually impressive to get online working in such a time frame. Well done!

Developer

we could dedicate 2 programmers to that since there were 5, but it still was no walk in the park, especially since we selfhost everything! I spend a night on SSL and certificates things T_T

Submitted(+2)

its a funny concept, the execution is great but i was hoping for a few more levels/story/progression! The UI and art is really good.

Developer (1 edit)

True, I nonetheless would like to take a moment for our dev that spend her Monday night (she had work the following day) cropping and clipping all of the 40+ objects in this game.

As well as the artist that hand-drawn every background, it was really rough on them during those few days :p

Submitted(+2)

Nice idea! I like how you show the drawing of other people.

Developer (1 edit) (+1)

Thanks! Don't say it to anyone but we plan on releasing some pictures with the best drawings near the end of the jam :D

Submitted(+2)

I always love drawing games, I like the scale in and out mechanic!

Cute game :V very impressive scope for just 4 days

Developer

Thanks! I remember the team saying our scope was maybe a bit small after the brainstorming session...we made it with 10 minute left lol!

Developer

counting the time extension! xD

At first I didn't understand and thought it was a joke (didn't know you could zoom in), still I liked it. Then I saw that you could zoom in, I started playing and I loved the game!! Really nice!

Submitted(+1)

Super creative idea and fantastic execution! I love seeing the drawings by other people near my melted blobs too :D

Submitted(+2)

Absolutely love the art style. I also love how it showcases work of other people. (I'm assuming haha)

Developer

Yes you are right, it was hellish to pack the multiplayer aspect in this jam :D Also people may have not noticed but you can also rate the drawing of other by clicking on the thumbnails!

Submitted(+1)

Wow, this would make such an amazing teaching tool in schools!

I really enjoyed trying to imagine the right scale for everything, and have 0 negative criticisms lol

Developer(+1)

Oh we did not think of that, thanks for the kind words!

Developer (1 edit)

and I only put the "educative" tag as a joke! ...or did I? 👀

Submitted(+2)

I did not get the game at all at first, so I just started drawing the prompts. I hope you like my blue whale, confused rat, tea cup, and 7R 330 John Deere tractor floating in the universe. Also hatsune miku. 10/10 game.

Developer(+1)

Holly mlodgrxhlmogdt, I think we'll have to add a favorite drawing section to the main page just for you ><

Developer(+1)

also, she's not calling for help, is she?

Submitted(+3)

Creative idea. and fun as well! Like everyone else said, its not clear you are supposed to use the scroll wheel. Art is fantastic as well!

Submitted(+4)

very fun, the multiplayer aspect of it makes it even more charming, i love drawing and the scale depth of it, congrats on finishing the gamejam!

Cavendish wanted to report you for banana mistreatment in your game, but I managed to calm him down by convincing him that talking hand-tools could be very cool protagonists. I owe you one, High on Life devs.

Submitted(+2)

Loved the idea! Took me a minute to figure out the scrolling, but I was having great fun trying to draw London buses at the right size outside a house heheh

Developer(+1)

Not as much as I love your idea! Someone please go play this guy's game ><

Submitted(+4)

This banana keeps saying my BEAUTIFUL artwork looks like a trumpet...

This is a really fun idea and great execution!

Developer

I think the web version broke the sketch recognizer... or at least, it does like trumpets and mouses a whole lot more than the desktop version (which can roast you accordingly to your drawings) xD

Or does it? Cavendish IS perfect, after all! *blink* *blink*

Submitted(+4)

Fantastic game. It took me an embarrassing amount of time to realise I should zoom in. 😂

Developer

Thanks for the kind comment, it is indeed something other have reported so we decided to put it first on the description :D

Submitted(+4)

Brilliant idea, excellent execution and good banana.

Submitted(+4)

Super cohesive and well put together party game! The style, art, and concept were all really good.

I love you cavendish.

Developer(+1)

"I love you too, but you won't convince me that this trumpet is an airbus A380!" is what he said :S

Submitted(+4)

Cool concept, and cool banana

Submitted(+4)

I am obsessed with this game. The artwork is so charming. The music is so nice. And you can leave reactions to other people's drawings?! How did you do this in 4 days?! 5 stars across the board

Developer(+1)

Thank you very much! we really don't know how we did in 4 days tho :')

Developer

We nearly didn't :'D

Submitted(+3)

I drew the banana on the man but it was too small

Developer

Thanks for testing the game.

I swear tho we're getting ban before the end of this jam will all you guys "art" lol.
