I love the presentation and the concept! great job
such a novel concept & with flawless presentation (i especially enjoyed the level select music) you've got a surprisingly intuitive gameplay loop - difficult but very rewarding. I will admit that sometimes i got confused between which arm was which - usually once the color palette had swapped but i think that was more of a skill issue ;)
great work, really enjoyed the game!
this climbing system is really smooth, and every jump feels satisfying.
sadly I keep mixing up my mouse buttons :(
without powerups I keep failing at the upper part in level 3
Really great job! Had a lot of fun with this
this is masterful. the main mechanic is fun and satisfying, and the visuals are simple but nice and kind of soothing, even. I wish there were more levels and some more challenges, though; even the final levels are quite easy once you learn how to build momentum with the arms properly. still, a very fun game.
Fantastic game!! Difficulty curve is nice, great execution of the mechanic, great music, and a cool art style to top it off. Are there two secrets in the final level? I found the one at the end but the menu still says I haven't found the secret.
Thank you so much! That's a bug on the final level secret, good catch - I'll push a patch for this after the voting period, thanks :)
An absolutely gorgeous game with great oomph and responsive controls. I'm hopeless at this style of game, but I was enjoying the aesthetic so much I persisted! Beautiful palette.
Thank you! Glad you kept at it :)
Really cool art and sounds, and the gameplay is very well done. I can't play these kind of games for too long because of what they do to my blood pressure, but that's a 'me' problem ;)
Well done!
This is like PERFECTLY difficult. Like its too fun man. Smh imagine making an addictive game for a game jam. Also i love how its pretty chill to play this game. Its basically running the fine line between a rage game and a game with not enough challenge.
Cool entry!! These kind of games are usually rage-inducing type games... but this was pretty pleasant to play! I didn't feel frustrated at all :D !! I used two arms to grab a single point as it gives me much more momentum than the two separate grabs, though I think I'm probably missing a trick...
Very stylish! Loved the minimalist GBC-style art (my favourite palette being the purple one!) and the player character made me think of the moon machine from Wallace & Gromit. Great feeling climbing controls - it's really fun to get both arms onto one grapple point and start orbiting yourself around it and then flinging away!
The moon machine was my main point of inspiration - delighted it came through! Thank you for playing :)
This is harder than I expected! I like the Sprite Art
I had a great time playing until level 3, where seemingly the difficulty turbo spiked. I wish I'd had a level or, at least the early part of level 3 with only a few of the reappearing grips to get used to the timing and how to use them. It felt a bit like hitting a brick wall, but the visuals were fairly clear. Good stuff!
This is a 10/10. Challenging, unforgiving gameplay, similar to something like Getting Over It, but with a completely unique and fun mechanic. Art style and music is on point, and the character being an oven is hilarious. I would spend money on this if it had a few more levels. Excellent work!
10/10
Really solid concept and gameplay, I can totally see this is a commercial longer game. Great job! The only negative I can find is that I felt that the level design could have been more balanced, the first level was truly hard and it only got harder from there. But besides that, I really loved it. Amazing!
Beautiful Art-style!.... and GoOdooot!!
I really like the style and the overall presentation. Yet the moment to moment gameplay could be demanding. I was in luck to have a mouse lying around otherwise good luck playing it on touchpad ) But I still enjoyed it. Nice entrance.
Control was a bit hard, but it was satisfying to perform long jump like a slingshot!
I only made it to level 3 due to my old mouse though...
The artstyle is very charming, I love pixel art!
