Awesome art and music. The game is really fun albeit hard.

By no means am I going to be able to pull off completing this, but I had a lot of fun with it. Great visual style and nice melodies too. Great work!

I almost rage quitted from the challenge before realizing you could pull up while grabbing! and then I still did because that didn’t make it any easier ha. Very solid entry! The art is nice and the mechanic is very nicely done.

Really satisfying to play, and replayable too with both the secrets and the upgrades to change things up.

The pre-game infodump is kind of rough since it's a lot harder to take in information about a game you know nothing about. I personally had to restart because i skimmed it and missed the pull-up system.

It also seems kind of redundant to have both level-dependant upgrades and secret-dependant slots for them - at least for such a short game.

Those are really minor things though. Enjoyed this one a lot.

Thanks for playing!

This is really useful feedback, thank you! The game could definitely use a proper tutorial rather than the wall, I'll have a think about how to incorporate this in a way that's informative but not tedious

Totally agree on the upgrades and slots, I'd initially planned to have more upgrades available to the player but wasn't able to get them in on time so as it stands it's a little too easy to just equip everything. Think I'm also going to have to make some secrets harder to find and more difficult to reach too!

Cheers again for the detailed feedback, really appreciate it :)

Beautiful art and fun to play! Maybe the control scheme could be improved by pulling with W / Up instead of Space

I love the art style! The game was very fun to play!!

Really cool style! It is a challenging experience, I did keep losing track of which arm I was currently swinging around though.

Submitted(+1)

This game's amazing, once you get used to the movement it's so enjoyable to swing around. There's a lot of climbing games, this is so far the best one I've played.

Love the monochromatic art style! I love swinging around, it's really satisfying gameplay

WOOOOAHHH! loved it!!! really fun phisyscs and laser focused game design, would make for a really fun mobile game, deff would have played tons of this on my ds growing up, maybe it gets a bit hard to rember wich hand is holding what? otherwise i was overall blown away!

This game was really fun to play. I loved the clunky controls and scaling the levels was a lot of fun. I think this game could really use some time spent per level so we can brag with our times in the comment section!

I loved the color palettes, 8-bitty soundtrack and the levels. Great job!

Thanks so much :) time trial mode and online leaderboards is definitely something I'd love to add post-jam, need to make sure I squash some of the more egregious bugs first though!

I love this game, it made me feel so uncoordinated at first haha! But really great execution, I love the art style!

This was fantastic.

The controls scheme was a bit tricky to get used to at first., almost like my brain had to relearn how to use the mouse. But then there are moments where you are making multiple swings and grabs in quick succession that are incredibly satisfying to pull off.

Art and music are incredible as always, and love that you even included collectable secrets throughout the levels.

The physics feel really good, swinging around is so fun :D

Simple and fun! Very frustrating as well xD (in a very enjoyable way)

Also, amazing vibes <3 Love the music and the art!

KEEP CLIMBING, BEAUTIFUL WASHING MACHINE!! KEEP CLIMBING!

I've loved this game, it's simple and really fun. It's so satisfying to master the physics and end up skipping half of the handles jumping around. I get why you have two arms, but when I started to get the hang of it, I began using only one arm.

The GameBoy aesthetics and audio are really well made and I love the changing palette in each level.

Nice work!

Awesome to see another climbing game! I really like the visuals and sound.

a fellow robot climbing game creator !!! this is a good one i must say

Great job! The general theme and aesthetic of the game was awesome, as well as the music. Controls are a bit to hard for me to muster, but considering the theme of the game it makes sense.

Great work!

awesome art! I like the concept of the game, the atmosphere, the music. The gameplay itself is a bit difficult for me personally, but that’s the point of the game, it shouldn’t be easy for robots with such hands hahaha. This is a very good job in 96 hours!
