the items are a cool concept that add to the core mechanic. My hand got stuck on the second level after dying but I restarted and it went fine after that :)
Thank you! Sorry about the bug, there's definitely a few issues with the hand physics I'll need to fix post-jam
Cheers :)
Fantastic game. Very creative with the upgrade mechanics.
Thank you :)
Great art style, and very fun mechanics. I also made a similar platformer with an unconventional control scheme
Thank you! Glad you enjoyed it :)
cool game and very nice graphics!
Thank you! :)
Super cute idea!!!
Thank you :)
Such a great game!
Thank you!
I love how you did the Physics, so I could launch myself upwards!
Thank you! Glad you enjoyed :)
So fun and love the music!
Thank you! :)
Very cool! Please add trackpad support though!
Thank you!
It is possible to play the full game on trackpad - it's a little more difficult but totally doable :)
This was super fun and I love the graphics! It feels like the right amount of bounciness in the arms to make it where I need to go
Thank you! Spent a while trying to get the bounciness dialed in right, glad it worked out :)
Interesting mechanic, a little bit tiring for the hand though but fun!
Thank you! Can definitely understand it being tiring, I was gripping my mouse very hard when playtesting!
the gameplay was very fun, fastest dishwasher in the west!
Thank you! Glad you enjoyed the speedy dishwasher action :)
I really like the art and colors, and the mechanics feel satisfying. Overall a very fun game.
Thank you! This was my first time making my own palettes for a game, so really glad you liked them :)
Wonderful! Once I started wildly launching myself around it really ramped up! The art is lovely, the music fits the vibe, no notes!
Thanks so much, wildly launching around is the perfect way to play :)
i adore swingy games!!! very fun and has a lot of uniqueness to it. palette swaps for different levels is a touch i love to see!
Thanks so much! The palette swaps were a deliberate attempt from me to get more comfortable working with colors - I've always just picked something from Lospec, but wanted to try making my own for this :)
oh wow fantastic job! great eye !!
Very cool game, but I feel there are just a few minor problems. Namely, the camera makes it difficult to see climbing points which makes recovering from falls more difficult, you can slide on walls by pressing in on them, and more often than not I'd find the oven getting rotated at an angle that I could not control, which doesn't matter for permanent grapple points but means you just slide out of temporary ones and have no way to recover. I'd say make the camera go down when you're going down, up when you're going up, etc. or just zoom it out/change the aspect ratio.
Aside from that, very neat game, love the aesthetic, absolutely worth a shot.
Thanks for the detailed feedback - this is exactly what I need, really appreciate it! I've just gone back and made a few tweaks to the camera so that it's position is offset based upon the player's velocity and it feels SO much better - thank you! I'll push an update post jam with this and hopefully with the other bugs you found fixed too :)
Cheers for playing!
I'll be sure to try it out when you do!!
Great art! Felt really cool flinging myself from one hold to another.
Thank you so much :)
Fantastic work ! Really appreciate it.
Thank you!
really cool
Thank you!
10/10 game, this needs to be one of the top 100 games this jam or ill cry.
Thank you so much! :)
