It’s a cute game.

Love the idea. Not bad execution for a jam game, nice UI. 1- it’s a bit confusing at the start: As multiple people have said, The phrasing is quite odd, easily solvable though and understandable for the time. 2- Having a history of guesses would be cool, especially for people with bad memory who do stuff without seeing what they are doing XD 3- some levels need information or references known before hand, this isn’t the best idea, but I can see the time being tight for coming up with cool ideas for scale rules. 4- needs some polishing, something to make the game smoother like a drag and drop would be nice, sfx is needed, etc. Overall. Nice entry pal!

Cool Concept, but I don't like some of the questions

Fun but the meme levels are a bit annoying

Cool mechanics and sense of humour. And the fact that it takes answers that are not precise is a good quality of life feature.

Very cool sense of humor, fun mechanic and puzzle solving. How does the solution checker work?

Developer (2 edits)

Thanks! It is checked using an AI a set of keywords. How it’s checked depends on the level, most of the levels check if any of the keywords exist in the guess. Some of the levels require all of the keywords to exist in the guess.

This game has a great sense of humor, I was laughing the entire time I was playing it

Best take on the theme I could find. Missing for me some SFX to "feel the heaviness"

Pretty good game!

Really simple idea, but could form the basis of some clever puzzles in a larger game. Nice work!

I agree with Tijs' comment. Nice idea, but the answers were sometimes too far-fetched.

This concept is really interesting. But for me, the answers were a little too far-fetched at times. Really interesting idea though!

I get pure "trollface quest" aura from this game. Thank you.

A little confusing for awhile towards the beginning but it was a great idea and pretty fun. Nicely done!

Submitted(+1)

has to be the most creative take on the theme I've seen yet! Great job.

FFR your fullscreen but isn't working (at least for me) but I've been there before too

id also leave some example rules in the desc. so people know what to input.

All in all, great job and great execution!

Thought I would correct myself, the fullscreen thing is not your fault. its an itch bug with there new "random rotation" feature. It wasn't just your project bugged

Sorry to concern you, works perfectly outside it!

I didnt understand at first, but once you get it is really funny, good job.

"guess the rule" was definitely an odd phrasing, it took me a while to understand what I had to do (ie I typed "heaviest" and was wrong), but otherwise it was a clever concept!

Very interesting idea, I had some lag and audio issues on the seventh level, but I enjoyed playing the game

Submitted(+1)

Quite interesting! Bit confusing near the end but certainly a great idea!

Submitted(+1)

I'm really confused about "guessing the rule". What am I supposed to type? There should be a better tutorial.

Developer

Ah sorry about that. I guess my choice of words was bad. As others mentioned, the more accurate wording is "Guess what the scale measures".

Really funny. I didn't get what I had to do at first but it made sense after the first level. The game gets kind of glitchy on the level with two countries.

Developer

Thanks for the feedback! I added a how-to-play guide on the itch.io description to help explain the game mechanics.

About the level with two countries, I must say that the "glitch" is intended as a part of the joke lol.

The very first one is very hard to solve, because I do not have a clue, what i wanted from me. Because I immediately went alphabetical instead of the correct answer, i was already stuck.

That is a problem with many of the questions. There are many ways to interpret the weight.

Some bugs still left.

Overall a fun idea nonetheless!

Developer (1 edit) (+1)

Thanks for the feedback! You're right about the many interpretation issue. I didn't even realize that alphabetical order is valid for the first level. I guess it was a level design flaw on my part, I should've tested the game more with my friends. Relating to this, I'm glad I added the skip level feature because otherwise, it would ruin the entire game experience.

Regarding the bugs, I must say that the "bug" in the level with two countries is intended as a part of the joke lol.
