How does your game fit the theme?
I couldn't think of any larger scale than a solar system without becoming unrealistic. haha

I felt the sense of scale from the huge ship. Nice twist on missile command
I really blew up a whole load of ships while playing this game! I did reach a point where some ships would hit me from behind off the bottom of the screen, making it impossible for me to hit them, but other than that the game was fun overall. The explosion of the sun at the end was super funny too lmfaoo. Nice work :)
The sun went boom!
I enjoyed the game, it was both engaging but relaxing in a way that I find hard to put into words.
I think the scale was off. the missiles and the enemies were way too small to the point that I had to squint to even find the missiles I was shooting.
The shooting mechanic itself has quite the steep learning curve, the explosion radius is quite small and it wasn't very apparent that where you click is where the missile explodes and that it wont explode on impact. The fact that the damage occurs throughout the whole time the explosion sprite exists definitely helped but it wasn't very intuitive. But towards the mid point of the journey I did manage to nail the timing down and I was kind of rewarding to nail a shot from far away at first try.
Good job!
Interesting take on the old missile command games! It's always pretty fun trying to figure out how early to fire to take out the squadrons. And now the sun is mine, ahaha!!![](https://img.itch.zone/aW1nLzE3NDc4MzY3LnBuZw==/original/CvmN39.png)
Very cool :)
It was a little hard to see what was going on with all the action happening in such a small part of the screen.
The learning curve on landing those super precise shots took me ages to finally get even slightly consistent, but interesting gameplay loop once I got a feel for it. Like others, I got stuck at 2% Health (which, honestly, I have no idea how you'd survive that wave at the end otherwise - I just got absolutely swarmed), but the main aiming loop still made for a challenging game jam entry where it was fun just to finally get a feel for landing the shots!
Oh, I had a really fun time with this game. Super satisfying hitting those LONG shots! Loved it. Would love to see a version with more weapons around the same general play style of timing your shots.
Neat experience, It was fun once I figured it out but it could have used a quick tutorial.
Idk how you got the idea for the little guy in the corner but it added SO MUCH CHARM to the game, its little things like that, that make your game stand out. sound design was on point
Great work, Keep making games!
Thank you so much! The little guy in the corner was my daughter's suggestion. haha Anything she wants in a game tends to end up in there. :D
There are some minor bugs but overall really fun and great gameplay. Also selecting the firing location it would be cool if it collides on the way there it also explodes ships. Other than that it was really fun great work!
Thank you so much! That's a great idea and easy to implement. Thanks for the suggestion! :D
Great gameplay. Some minor health bugs but great work.
Thank you so much! I noticed the health issue and just had too much work this morning from my other job to fix it in time.
Really nice entry! The music and the sound effects were really drawing you in. Feels like complete game!
Thank you so much! II keep trying to improve on jams and music and sound have always been my bane. haha
I found the game quite difficult, luckily my ship couldn't die it just wouldn't go below 1% hp (bug maybe)
I noticed that bug a little late but now everybody wins! haha Thank you for playing!
It can be really difficult to predict enemy movement and the game displays the scale well imo
Thank you so much! I did add a feature near the end (because I tested so much I got good at predicting their path) they actually have a random speed when they start for added difficulty.
classic concept, good implementation. I struggled a little with the controls but there is an actual learning curve to measuring enemy speed. good job!
Thank you! I added random speed starts to make it harder to predict their paths by judging other ships nearby.
Great concept, maybe more varied enemy types or missile types in a future release? Good job
Thank you so much! I did leave it as an array to easily add more weapons and enemies. I just have to watch my worst enemy (feature creep) when doing gamejams. haha
Good Job!
Thank you so much!
Seems like I couldn't get below 8% health no matter what I did and the missile intercepting mechanic was a bit tedious when I just wanted to blast some sun hording scum! Game looked really cool though!
Thank you so much! I did notice the health bug (if you call me forgetting to add the death screen a bug haha) but couldn't fix it in time.
Cool game, I thought the planets were something I needed to shoot at the beginning but then I figured out what the little ships were.
Thank you so much! I actually thought about adding turrets or some kind of defense to the planets (hopefully in the future) that you can take out.
Cool game! I encountered a bug where my ship was stuck at 10% health and never died but apart from that it was pretty fun to try and defend my ship. Good job!
Thank you so much! I noticed that I forgot to add the death screen a little too late to fix it. haha I appreciate you playing.
