Very fun frantic gameplay.
I was very confused when I died to a black hole.
Thanks for playing! Didn't do a good job explaining but there's actually 5 levels, if you zoom out (scroll wheel) twice, you'll get to the black hole level.
Yeah I figured after I died. It was just a funny surprising moment I had while playing :)
Fun minigames and great idea for the theme. The tutorial was helpful and I liked how some of the scales interacted with each other (being able to tell you’re getting sucked into the black hole, being able to kill the wolves with the meteor)
Thanks! We wanted to make a proper tutorial but didn't have time, so we just did the indicators for the controls.
Very good entry to the jam. Also one of the few downloadable games with a MacOS release. : D
Only point I would criticize is that it takes a while to get used to all the mechanics. Maybe a short optional tutorial/handbook of the dangers to your llama might be helpful here.
Unless finding these things out for yourself is intended. : )
Thanks for playing, glad you liked it! We wanted to have a proper tutorial, but ran out of time!
Great game ! A unique way to implement the theme, which is really cool ! Art is amazing as well ! Keep up the good work :D
Thanks so much!!
Very fun and creative! I love how hectic is gets dealing with all the threats, I appreciate all the little tells you get when something's about to become a problem.
Thanks for playing! Glad you liked it!
Wow, this must be the most creative game in this game jam. At first I was a little bit confused, but when I discovered how different mechanics works, I had a lot of fun. This game fits the theme extremely well and I enjoyed finding all off the symptoms that told that something is not right like distortion of screen when black hole sucks up your galaxy. Very good work!
Thank you so much! Really appreciate the compliments!
Another cool microscopic and infact the best in this category, I would say, not just the game concept but you also nailed the art and visuals.
Keep up the good work and best of luck.
If you're free I invite you to play my silly game as well.It will be a pleasure for me.
Thanks for the kind words!
Gosh that was awesome!
I didn't get it at first but when I understand the concept... wow!
It's a fresh idea with a solid implementation.
Maybe there could be a little downtime at the start to teach the player all the mechanics you have and give some time to practice could be cool.
But still it's a very solid entry for a jam! Take those 5 stars and give our game a go when you'll have some time :)
Appreciate the feedback! We definitely wanted to do a proper tutorial to slowly introduce the player, but didn't have time!
Time is what we all don't have enough!
But I'm impressed by the amount of work and polish which was achieved during that time!
I thought I rated this yesterday my bad. Fun game. I found it challenging and entertaining. Plus Llamas get extra points from me haha. Great job.
No need to apologize. Thanks for playing!
Really interesting idea ! Had to read the comments to figure out the whole concept though, since you move with the mouse I failed to interpret correctly the mouse prompts as "scroll to change scale". Didn't manage to last muuuch farther than the black hole knowing this though, gameplay is pretty hard and frantic
Sorry the instructions weren't clear! We didn't have time to make a full tutorial like we wanted. If you scroll out twice you can get to the black hole level and if you click on the galaxy, it pushes you further away from the black hole, buying you more time. Thanks for playing!
My llama lasted 5 minutes before a meteor fell on them :(
Loved it, this was a perfect implementation of the theme!
Now this here is one of the most creative take on the theme. good job
Thanks so much!
Omg! Almost a God simulator of sorts. I wish things didn't get out of hands so fast. Very intence gameplay :D Cool artstyle. Perfect entry!
Thanks for the feedback! Probably one of the most difficult parts was trying to dial in the difficulty
Took me a couple tries to start getting it, but once I did, I started having a ton of fun! This is exactly the kind of high speed, creative take on the theme that I've been craving out of the jam. I love how stressful it gets trying to manage all of the different areas of gameplay. Truly well done. Would love to see a complete version with maybe a tutorial, high score screen, and maybe a leaderboard? Either way, one of my favourite games I've played this jam. Great work!
Very cool idea! Very chaotic x) I loved it!
Thanks!!
I am sorry, I am not a good llama caretaker. But the idea within scaling danger is very creative! The changing between combating minuscule to mega threats is unique. Very frantic and made me panic a bit. Good job for the game, enjoyed it! :)
None of us our *great* llama caretakers at the end of the day... Thanks for playing! We definitely tried to make it as frantic as possible while staying fun!
WOW! Managing all those different scales is so chaotic and fun. Very creative idea! Didn't take too long to figure out how to play. Nicely done!
Thanks for playing!
A creative take on the theme. Really built to scale! Also the game is well polished. I enjoyed it.
Thanks for playing!
Very creative and fun
Thanks!
This was really cool, and frantic... a real llamageddon. I was only able to get 1180 points, but I was playing on a trackpad, and could probably do better with a mouse. My strategy was to stay at the lama level, and move away from threats (including meteors), and then zoom in when the llama started looking sick (and repair DNA while in there)... I'm not sure I witnessed (or understood) the intergalactic threat. This was great, good job!
Glad you liked it! It definitely was designed with a mouse scroll wheel in mind, but you can use arrow keys to zoom in and out if need be. If you zoom out from the llama level, there's a planetary level that you can rotate the planet to move meteors to somewhere else on the map, and you can zoom out again to avoid getting sucked into a black hole.
