Love the tropical graphics! Cute concept and we thought about maps scale as well during early development; so glad to see the concept being executed by you very well. Might be quite hard to get to the distance on exact point, but I understand that this game is short in time. Good job on the game!

Super fun environment, love the cel shader give the game a really cool feel, amazing stuff!
Super cute concept and a really pretty artstyle! As other people have already covered, it was a little unclear as to what the end goal was, and boy is that position rating super strict, but this was great! Amazing job!
That is an really nice entry. We loved the visuals and game feel, it looks really poloshed! Amazing job!
This was fun! The game feels really polished and tied together well. I think a little more guidance/story would bring it to the next level. Great work!
Looks like we've got similar idea but you decided to add this 3D movement on top of it! It's a bit sad that I wasn't able to get anything at the correct position, at best I got 1 part with 1/2. This idea could easily being reused to build a complete game, it's very interesting and engaging! Good job!
Very cool. I thought I got them all right and I was wondering if there was a way to win so I checked these comments and apparently there was a score? I didn't see it, maybe I got legit all of them wrong and that's why there was no score lol. Either way this was fun and unique and pleasant to look at
Thank you for the kind words!
We definitely could have done a better job at communicating the map completion mechanic, I'm seeing many comments about people not getting to the score screen.
The way it works is that when you drag all of the pieces somewhere over the outline of the island you get a prompt to mark the treasure. Even if you get all the pieces wrong you should still be able to dig for treasure. The accuracy of your map defines whether you get to dig up the famous treasure of Salty Paws or something else.
Very cute game! Loved the graphics! A fun take on the idea of searching for pirate treasure!
Very nice idea and art style!
Maybe you could add footsteps on the ground for accessibility (people with hearing issues or playing without sound).
This is a really cool idea. I would have liked to have sound cues for the footsteps to help measure distance.
Love the idea. I think the scaling is way to hard to be able to get accurate and also the rotation. Really fun idea although I wish I could compare the final map to my version
The game is really great, it gives me return of the obra dinn vibes. One thing I would change is that landmarks only appear on your map once youve discovered them, like maybe the landmarks have a faint glow so you know its something to be added, and you arent walking around trying to figure out where the scribbles on your map are
Ahah the game is really hard ! But the concept is really good, and the game has a unique and wonderful style ! Congrats to all the team
Super cool game! I couldn't get the placement right but it was very enjoyable anyways, i would have liked to found where the real treasure is and what is it!
We can't reveal what Salty Paws' secret treasure is just yet...
Let's give a chance for players to discover it on their own. If no one can get the score high enough (due to our mistake with scoring) we could possibly show it off or just fix the scoring after the jam is ended and let those who are interested try to find it once again!
Great-looking game, feels very polished. I could not, for the life of me, get over 26 points though.
It would have been nice to have a way to "remember" old placements so that when you like a placement, you can keep it for the next run. I got full points on the bridge, for example, but that happened only once, even though I tried to reproduce it in other rounds.
But I gave it a good couple of tries because the look and feel of the game carried a lot for me.
Great work!
