Such cool art and beautiful UI! Amazing job:)
Many thanks!!
This is an impressive entry! It feels quite polished and has a lot of content.
I feel that at the beginning the difficulty curve is quite steep. You die too quickly to asteroids, and so don’t have time to experiment with controls or get to know the UI. So it’s easy to miss the fact that you can put more stuff on your ship or that you can upgrade it.
But once you get a hang of it, it becomes really fun.
I also encountered a nasty bug that locked me in the position from upgrade screen. I probably managed to double-open it.
All in all, it’s an impressive entry.
Thank you for letting us know about the bug! I'm happy you enjoyed the game, we will definitely look into making the opening easier if we decide to continue development. Good luck on the jam!
Thanks for playing and the feedback!
We are aware that the difficulty curve is too steep and should be more gradual in the future.
Unfortunate you experienced that bug, its difficult to know what caused it in such a system-heavy game.
Glad you liked playing it!
What an entry! A lot of content, the only bad part, is that the controls where a little difficult to get used to and the upgrade system was a little confusign. But, very and I mean VERY great entry!
thanks a lot for the feedback
Looks great, feels great, I just have a bit of trouble with the UI and the gameplay. No real complaints though, great job!!
Thanks for the feedback!
Really liked the idea of the game. Had some trouble getting into the controls, but after some time i got the hang of it. UI was a bit confusing at first though, had to figure out that i actually can upgrade my ship. Despite that i think you did a fantastic job. Keep it up!
Thanks a lot! We will improve the UI!
Thanks 💯
Cool little game, love the art style. Is the enter build mode keybound?
Would be very grateful if you tried our game!
Thanks for playing! The build mode can be entered by pressing TAB on keyboard or clicking the open shop button.
A little bit confusing UI/UX, but overall a nice experience! I wish the upgrade built on top of your last ship tho so you don't have to remake everything
Thanks for the feedback! Saving the current layout will be for sure an area of improvement.
Nice game! I like really like the visuals, but the shop looked a bit confusing for me :(
Also i didn't really like the fact that when i upgrade i loose all of my past weapons and rockets, i don't know if maybe im missing something and you actually can readd those
Pretty nice overall!
Thanks for playing and providing feedback!
Great idea. I really loved the fact that you can move and rotate everything to experiment and create ridiculous monstrosities :D
Game is much, much more fun at later stages when you can actually build and upgrade, but to get there you need to survive the (in my humble opinion) way to tough beginning with almost nothing.
Nevertheless, kudos for making this ;)
Thanks for playing and providing feedback! The difficulty is definitely a commonly suggested area of improvement.
Nice space shooter. It's fun to add modules and make the spaceship bigger. Good game. :-)
Thanks for playing!
Very pretty effects, I initially couldn’t grasp how you’re supposed play until simply accepting that getting hit is an inevitable fact of life. As some QoL tips, the FOV zooming out depending on ship size would be very nice - also, currently all ship parts seem to activate at the same time (healing, auto-lock missile, etc.) - it’d be nice to have a way to have them not be in perfect sync. All in all, from one Roguelite dev to another: Well done!
Thanks for your feedback! The camera FOV increasing with ship size is a good area of improvement. Glad you liked it!
Super cool game! I played it for way longer than I thought 😂
Glad you liked it!
Really good take on the theme, back up by gorgeous visuals and sfx, and a great gameplay loop. 5/5 game gg
Thanks a lot for your kind words and review!
The game is very hard at first, I thought. But I try playing several more times, and got addicted to avoiding meteorite, collecting heal, and upgrading.
Overal, I love how the game is hard but still playable and enjoyable, which makes it challenging and fun.
Also, I have not reach higher level yet to judge, but the bigger my spaceship ship, maybe the larger the camera field? It's a little hard to avoid being hit while being so huge 🤣
Btw, thank you for your comment on my game 😉
Glad you enjoyed the challenge!
Yeah others have also suggested larger camera FOV as the spaceship grows. Thanks for playing and reviewing!
Okay the graphics are stunning, very beautiful art, menus and fonts.
The sound seems fitting, I enjoyed the background music a lot. Player for like half an hour and it didn't get repetitive. Kudos on the sound effects too.
Overall the game is amazing, there's a lot going on behind the curtains here, well done.
Here's some feedback:
That's it! My highest score was 30459 points for 3:37 minutes, it felt like just putting a lot of lasers on the initial ship was the way to go for me. Congratulations on a fun game!
Thanks a lot for the detailed feedback! The compass and speed were just meant to be a cosmetic detail, but it definitely could have been improved 😊. A lot of small issues, like the lagging background and typos probably could be fixed if we had more time to play-test and balance.
A lot of the things you mentioned were known bugs, like the kill counter not being functional, or allowing detached modules, for which, again - a little more time could have helped with.
Thanks for playing and providing this very detailed feedback! I'm glad you enjoyed.
Very fun! I love how you can put modules wherever you want!
Glad you liked the building system! The idea definitely was to allow lots of customization for everyone's play style.
My first idea going into the jam was similar to this and it feels awesome seeing it be made to such a high quality.
Im glad you liked the game!
The audio design is excellent, and the extra effort in presentation really shines through, awesome work. Keep it up!
thank you so much!!!
Very cool game and polished presentation!
Thanks for playing and providing feedback!
