I think with more polish this would be quite a banger!
Wow, that is superb to hear, thank you so much!
Hexagon is the bestagon! This is a great proof of concept. The game feel is already nice. You've got the core of a fun game here!
Is that a CGP Grey reference? Love it! Thank you for that, it really makes me want to keep developing this!
Amazing game! kinda fun to see the herd building up xD
Thank you for that compliment! That was a reaction I was hoping for with this mechanic, thank you for that!
Amazing concept, so fun to play! I think the player should be able to see more, or enemies spawn further away, as sometimes they just come out of nowhere
Thank you, that really motivates me to develop it further! And I very much agree with your feedback. In fact, me and a friend were commenting that the enemies were to aggressive. I toned it down some at that point but then had other things that I needed to implement so I never got to balance it even further. I really do appreciate the feedback though, it will make the game better.
Overalll very enjoyable. I wish the fire rate upgrades scaled better as I felt like I was always outmatched no matter how many I chose to pick up.
Thank you, makes me happy to hear! Yup, there are a lot of things that need tweaking/fixing and you are right on the money with the fire rate. Sincerely appreciate the feedback.
I enjoyed playing the game, really cool mechanic, tried to make a hook so I can grab more jellyfish at once, loved it. My ship broke into 3 parts, and I could still control all 3 parts which made me chuckle xD
Haha, yes, that is something that happens when they break apart. I wanted to implement a "behaviour" for this scenario since I knew it would occur for a lot of players but I simply wasn't able to squeeze it in. Very happy to hear that you enjoyed the overall concept!
Really cool concept, it feels like there's lots more depth to explore. I personally found herding the squares really difficult with how much they drifted around and I think the "goal" was a little smaller than the sprite mad it out to be, but I still really enjoyed it. Great job!
Yes, I felt the same way but didn't have time to adjust it. But it is good to get these things confirmed from others so I thank you for the feedback, it really helps! Also, very happy to hear that you liked it overall! Cheers!
Cool concept! At first I was not sure what to do but once I got it I had so much fun
Yeah the onboarding isn't great but I am pleased to hear that you stuck with it and had fun. Thank you so much!
the sound design made it really fun to play, personally i would like a slightly wider fov
I completely agree, the fov/viewport size/camera needs adjustments. Glad you enjoyed it though, thanks!
I love the style of the game and the mechanics of the game is really unique to me. I feel like with more time and polish, this could be even more fun than it already is. Wow! Absolutely amazing.
This makes me want to take this concept further, thank you!
Really fun idea, zipping around and bashing into the cubes was a lot of fun, nice work!
Excellent, I really wanted the herding to be a fun mechanic. Glad you liked it, thank you!
Interesting concept and I loved the controls.
Something about them felt good. Enjoyed playing it!
That is great to hear! Gameplay feel is very important to me and with limited time it is always such a challenge. A fun one but a challenge still.
Such an interesting concept and take on the theme! Awesome visuals and sound effects. Keep up the good work!
Thank you very much! I really want to develop this further.
You definetly should!!!
Very interesting hive building.
I'm assuming the modules being destroyed by the enemy means I lose the bonus, which makes it quite an interesting concept
Only complaint would be that the camera is zoomed in too much, and the enemy is already charging at me before they even become visible
There are definitely a bunch of things that need tuning and/or fixing with the systems that are already in place so I completely agree that the camera is one of them. But I'm so appreciative that you found the concept interesting since that was my goal! All the best!
I really like this game and would love to see more of it! There's so many interesting things you can do with the modules. Awesome entry!
That is so good to hear, I really wanted to try out this concept and combination of ideas! Thank you!
loved the feeling of a sheeperd with this lil white dots !
Take few time to understand that you cant go werever you want thoo
Great Job for the time constraint !
So glad you like it and thank you! Yes, time really ran out for me in regards to UX/UI + Player instructions so I wholeheartedly agree with you. But hey, nothing's stopping me from developing it further after the jam.
I really liked the concept, it allows for emergence forms of player character when game develops. I would have appreciated a text saying you have to herd white things at the start, I did not get it until read the itch description, but it's a jam game so no worries. It's fun, fits the theme and is solo developed so it's a great game!
Thank you very much for your feedback! Yes, there are several things I wish I would have had the time to make much clearer to the player in regards to UX/UI and gameplay instructions. I completely agree with your sentiment.
This is a really cool idea! I'd love to see this get developed further!
Thank you, perhaps I will!
Pretty cool game maybe make it so you cant just accidentally walk out of range?
Thank you! That's part of the inteded design but I could absolutely make it clearer and perhaps incorporate it better.
Pretty fun concept, but it's a bit too difficult with how fast (and from how far) the enemies attack. Zooming out the camera and maybe adding a score counter would be great! :)
Happy you like the concept and I sincerely appreciate the feedback!
