The game was hard but also really fun. I do wish that sometimes we could change the asteroid sizes while in flight; if we could already do that, I missed that mechanic. Fun idea with a unique and cool take on the theme. Great job!!

Developer

You can change the asteroid sizes in flight, the third tutorial level explains that. It's no different than resizing before launch.

very cool game, played another game who also used the gravitational splines , feel a speed up button would be cool too

Novel use of the jam theme, and well executed,  great submission!

A very unique and original game. The core concept is something i have not encountered before with any other game. The graphics and music fit the mood of the game perfectly. Cant wait to beat that leaderboard!

It was great to see a game with a tutorial. Really cool and clever concept about scaling asteroids and their gravitational field. I wish you could control the direction of the space station though. Anyway, the music adds greatly to the atmosphere and the graphics are great too. I also like the idea of delivering goods. Great job!

As someone with an embarrassingly large number of hours in Kerbal Space Program, anything that lets me plan my orbital trajectory is a win from me. It feels super satisfying in this game, and there's a lot of great visual feedback too. The moment I got out of the tutorial though I stopped having fun, I loved trying to solve the puzzles of each tutorial level, but the timers running out so fast in the main game mode made even attempting to line something up feel pointless. I think if the orders didn't expire, and instead the penalty for being slow is just that you don't get as many orders done, that'd be enough. Having two time limits is a bit too punishing for me.

Game is really interesting, the planetary travell is well done and with almost endless skill ceiling. Doing changes mid flyght adds whole new layer to mastery. I have never seen game like this made this good. Every aspect of space travell makes sence and is complete without any bugs.

But for begginer, the game is very hard even after completed tutorial. Some easier start would help a lot.

Nice and very polished game

Fun concept ! I liked that one, great job !

Really well thought out game with the best orbit trajectory system I've seen :) The space vibe really shines through with the music and simple but highly effective graphics. The fruit vendorship is very charming :)

I'm so curious about the way you made the trajectory line, how the hell did you calculated that ?? Congrats !!

Developer(+2)

We simulate the next ~100 positions and velocities of the rocket whenever something changes, using basic physics equations (like dv = accel * dt and dp = dv * dt) the tricky part was making sure everything aligns with unity's physics, as we use that for the final result. We also account for the estimated mass of asteroids, which affects the red and blue trajectory lines, as well as checking if any predicted position collides with a planet (easy as all the planets are circles). Then, we use Unity's Line Renderer to visualize these trajectories.

woooow okok very very smart !

Really nice game, although I would definitely add fish deliveries

(Deliveries of definitely not suspicious fish that definitely don't eat planets ♥)

Developer(+1)

Ha, ha! Sure, I dont see why the fruit distribution company wouldn't scale up to fruit and fish!
and yes, *definitely* not the type of fish that eats planets *wink, wink*

Deeefinitely not ♥

Love the idea behind this, very polished experience, challenging but fun! Overall great work on this entry!

The mechanics are original and surprisingly hard to master.

A challenging experience that keeps me interested and continuously playing. Very good take on the theme!

Awesome work!

Very neat game, super stressful but incredibly rewarding trying to manage your inventory and your trajectories, and it feels great to pull everything off. Would've liked a way to have some slight manual control over the ship (namely being able to speed up as well as slow down would have been awesome), but still a super solid gameplay loop!

Game is challenging but its really fun!

Very cool idea. I just wish the timers for the fruit orders were a little slower. Quite often you had to wait for things to turn around before you could launch them. But I really loved the concept! And it was put together very well. Good job :3
