This looks so good, love it. I feel like this could be fine tuned to be a little bit less tedious but all in all this is really engaging and vibey!

Visually pretty stunning! Difficult and controls feel a tad wonky but neat concept. Can't stress how much I love the way it looks!

Thank you for playing and leaving a review! I’m glad you like the visuals! I agree that it its current state the controls/physics are a bit janky unfortunately. I hope to tidy those up in the near future!

Enjoyment: I guess this game is very faithful to actual arcane cranes in that it's literally impossible to grab the object you want. At one point i grabbed some random ass rubik's cube and put it into the win zone, which was honestly more fun than the actual objective.

Creativity: Not the most creative interpretation of the theme. Then again the two first games I rated for this jam were infinitely worse in that department, so not the worst.

Style: Perfect. I could see a winning game from this jam looking like this. Literally the best thing about this game by a HUGE margin. I also got all the references in the 3D models you used ; )

Sound design is.. uh. torture. Especially for my autistic noise-sensitive ass.

Overall, this is the first game in my queue that actually looks like effort was put into it. Even if I honestly didn't really like it. I look forward to seeing what you'll turn in next year : )

Hey! Thank you for the in depth review :)

Thank you so much for the kind words on style! I put a lot (maybe too much time) in that, and it’s nice to see it being received so well!

I thoroughly agree with you that, despite being intended to be challenging, the game in its current state is too difficult. As for the sound - well, yeah, I agree too, it is currently just a (too) chaotic soundscape.

Next weekend I will spend some more time on the game again, and implement better fitting, less overwhelming and more satisfying audio, as well as balance the difficult and tidy up the physics/controls.

cool idea but it's really way too hard, still gj for making it this realistic

I couldn't do it, but that just made this more realistic. Very cool idea and implementation. I only wish I could win 😭

This is insanely difficult like wow. I didn't realize I'll hate this crane just as much as I do the one in real life lol.

The art and style are all pretty cool. Loved the visual quality this game has. I kinda missed the point on what to do at first, but then when I got what to do. I knew I wouldn't be able to do this (T^T). Overall, a really great entry for the jam! I loved this just as much as I hate that crane.

I'm very glad I'm not putting quarters in this machine haha

Very nicely done, this fits in with other games such as "pogobounce" and "getting over it". I would love to see this done in VR

Fun vibes and the game is looking really good, I actually focused on getting Blahaj before getting the car. Very fun to play around with!

I luv this as much as I hated those machines in my childhood

Cool game! I found out I was able to ramp the car onto the claw next to the box and lift it into the box

The claw is just like the ones irl

Love the vibe and movement. Good job!

Thank you so much!

I really love the arcade vibes! Operating the crane was really difficult but I guess that goes for any crane game. I ended up also using the car to push the objects into the right position since placing them was hard.

Looks absolutley amazing and getting to actually play inside the machine with the car is such a fun idea! :)

Also extra plus for Substitute Doll and Blåhaj shark!

Developer(+1)

Thanks so much! Just don’t tell Nintendo, don’t want them coming after me for using the substitute doll D:
