How does your game fit the theme?
"Roll In Color" has you roll dice to solve a color matching game. You will need to use your spatial reasoning skills to solve these colorful puzzles. Originally, the dice had numbers and had a bit of math, but I modified to colors for better readability + lower difficulty.

pretty fun I like how you decided to go a different route by using color.

Cool idea and it was fun to play. I feel like it was very difficult to "think ahead" or so to say and most of the puzzles were solved by reading of the arrow keys in the bottom right and trying stuff until it worked.

This is a very unique take on the theme and I like it. It looks very good with the colorful tiles and it is quite challenging in medium and hard mode as well.

A really nice set of puzzles. Without the time element, I would've probably played for a lot longer - but at its base a really neat interpretation of the theme, and well implemented too!

I'm glad there was an easy mode :) Good game!

Nice concept, I don't know if it was just me being stupid but I couldn't figure out the levels above easy.

a neat game with a nice take on the roll dice puzzle genre that you see alot in this game jam. I dont normally like these puzzles too much because i have to think way to much and it just over complicates things, but youve taken this puzzle and made in more enjoyable and less like i feel like im doing a degree and more like im playing an actual enjoyable game. so thank you for that.

Another dice game that makes my head hurt haha.

But really I have a lot of fun, once you understand the dice you can flip more confidently, and now I know the existence of the timer is to make the player think faster, challenging yourself is pretty fun, really great entry, nice job!

For a game jam entry, the presentation has a lot of polish. It's common to not have time to add the effects that make player controls feel great, so beeps and stretches in the main menu make this project stand out.

I appreciate having fewer colored tiles in lower difficulties. It made the game's concept much more digestible.

This is my personal preference more than anything, but I think the game would have been much more enjoyable without the time limit. I feel like the game wants you to think things through without actually giving to you the time to do that.

Thanks for your kind words! Also a very good point about the no timer/free play option; it's definitely something I'll add afterwards. It's definitely a common point being made in a number of comments haha!

My apologies; I realize now that I was biased towards my own personal preference and completely overlooked that a good portion of players do not enjoy the pressure element, especially in an otherwise relaxing puzzle game. Something I'll definitely keep in mind for future games!

Really nice game! One of the better dice puzzle games I've seen in this game jam. The game was very intuitive and easy to pick up and I like that you can see the outcome in the bottom right. It saves me from have to memorize how a dice is shaped and how it flips XD.

I did not realize there was a timer at first :D  Impressive that the levels are all generated at runtime!

Solid puzzle game! I personally disliked the timer, and don't think puzzle games should put you under pressure, but otherwise good!

A really great game! I found at least in the beginning I really relied on the bottom right and just slowly investigated through the puzzles, but eventually you get the hang of the patterns between the colours and the movements, a nice learning curve!

Perfect puzzle game!!  My spatial reasoning skill always sucks, and It's time for me to train it!

Good idea and impressive work. The gameplay is fun but gets very tricky already on medium difficulty. Of course the timer always adds some pressure. Good job!

Very polished game. The music and soundsdesign was really fitting, the art is simple, yet pleasant and the concept is really well working and the theme is implemented well. Cant complain in anyways, its a solid, nice working game :)

Loved it! I personally am not a big fan of these types of games, but this one felt very good! Idea is very fun and creative, presentation is nice and cozy. Honestly, if this was available for android, i would play it all the time!

Nice concept and pretty slick execution.

I found myself being totally reliant on the ‘next colour’ box on the bottom right-hand side as I found it pretty hard to visualise the dice itself; which made planning more than one move ahead difficult.

I wonder if it would be easier to intuit the dice by having the camera at a bit more of an angle/mobile so you see the sides.

But I got the hang of it in the end!
