Fun quirky game! Thought the mechanic of having the quality of your guillotine drop effect the quality of your head bowling ball. Kind of disturbing but funny. Although you didn't use your own art you still did a great job of picking assets that paired together nicely which is definitely a skill of its own. Good job!
oh my god what a story lmao. I’m shocked yet amazed. I like the play of words with “dice” to match the theme, it’s creative, the gameplay is also creative (and disturbing). Great entry, congrats bro!
I love the idea of this game. Very creative. The voice over was nice too!
I adore the idea; it has wonderful humour. The gamer will always have morbid thoughts that will stay in their minds for a while.
Although the gameplay is straightforward, the challenges you face are clear-cut, which kept me motivated to make the ideal throw.
The power meter was the only source of misunderstanding; in the first activity, "red" denoted success and "green" failure, whereas in the second, "red" denoted success and "white" failure. As a result, I had the impulse to strike the white side (but it could just be me!).
I love the voice acting! I appreciate the time and effort that takes, having done it myself for a previous jam. The mechanics could use a little polish but I had fun trying to get a strike!
I really enjoyed the creativity on this one! The voice acting was kinda nice too, even if sometimes it seemed to desync from the action. The speed of the bar felt way too high though, barely impossible to try and hit the range I wanted.
One time the head managed to take down some pins but the end screen was already showing, so it did not count.
Wow, that's very creative! Apparently, I've got better score with a bad head :D
Great job!
Really unique and funny concept! The chopping timing seemed a bit finicky but I eventually got a few very satisfying strikes!
This was hilarious! I loved the voice over, made the game very charming to play!
So far the only game I've seen that doesn't use dice at all (but still fit the theme). Super creative, bonus points for using 3d in a 48 hour jam. Voiceover was both legitimately helpful and entertaining. Game was funny and enjoyable enough that I played until I got a strike.
Absolutely flawless execution, no notes.
Possibly the most creative take on the theme I'll see the whole jam. Hilarious!
morbid and hilarious. I think this has to be one of the funnier entries i've seen this year. The gameplay itself is pretty simple but fun. I think my only feedback tis that the meters might move a bit to fast but overall i had a lot of fun.
I adore the concept, amazing humour to it. Morbid ideas will always really stick in the player's mind for some time to come.
While the gameplay itself is simple, the challenge presented to you is easy to understand which kept me wanting to nail that perfect throw.
Only confusion was regarding the power meter; in the first activity, 'red' is the fail and 'green' is the success, while in the second half, 'red' is the success and 'white' is the fail. My instinct was to hit the white side as a result (this could just be me though!)
Very funny idea. The only strange thing is that if you failed to cut the head you cant take down none of the pins. Very original idea.
Very interesting use of the theme!
Haha, this was unexpected, but a pleasant suprise.
I would have loved to see a full game of 10 frames, with different people's heads.
My main feedback for this is:
- Make the badly chopped head still able to get to the end, just with more bounciness. (In my experience a bad head literally can't reach the pins.)
- Reset the player's positioning each frame, otherwise you can strike every frame without having to reposition.
Great work though, loved the voice over work! Keep up the good work :D
I had too much fun playing this. I was grossed out but I needed to get a strike. 🪓
This is an extremely silly idea executed very well. I thought that once I messed up the chopping part, I'd just have to retry it, but nope. You just have to bowl with a "bad head." I'm not sure if it means there's something wrong with me, but I found this very funny.
The absurdity of it all had me giggling like an idiot. I'd give it a Good Head/10.
The game itself is creative and interesting with a clever pun behind it that I didn't get until I started typing this comment. The difficulty of the chopping minigame feels a little too harsh and because the meter keeps going after you chop it feels unclear how well you did. Overall aside from a few nitpicks the game is simple and incredibly fun.
Cool game, really quite a creative idea. Good job!
