Really fun game with a simple yet cool mechanic and a really great look !

Developer

So glad you liked it, thank you for playing!

Submitted

I love the looks of the game, it reminds me for some reasons those miniature worlds 3d models, just wish some more effects to sell that even more :) I really like the idea, maybe adding more physics into container moving could cause more random unpredictable interactions. Overall it's really nice compact game with mechanic perfect for jam like this :)

Developer

Thank you so much for your feedback! I'm glad you enjoyed it!

A simple, straightforward and a very well done game! Had lots of fun playing with the physics of dropping containers into the ship. Also the voice lines included were a nice addition! Art style is perfect for this type of game as well, well done!

Developer

Thanks a lot for playing and the feedback!

Submitted

Good game! Really fun to play. Good luck!

Developer

Thanks!

Submitted

Nice! It's very fun trying to put as many containers as we can

Developer

Thank you for playing!

it was fun!) The way containers move each other is making game little harder and give you a challenge:) I think it could be more ACCURATE if there was hook physics, so when you grab a container it would wiggle around :D

Developer(+1)

Thanks! That's a cool idea. In fact a very early version of the game had no limit on the movement of the containers, but that wiggle was... let's say not very accurate :-D

Submitted

Nicely done, plays well. Took a moment to get used to the controls, I'd definitely play it again, great fun.

Developer(+1)

Thanks! Yeah the controls definitely need some time to get used to. Just like with a real crane, so in that matter it is totally accurate :-D

Submitted

This is great!

I wish we had used this concept in a previous jam game, Manifest Violence!

Well done! It's super fun to assemble containers on a ship. I love the movement and especially the retro arcade audio.

Kudos!

Developer(+1)

thanks, checked manifest violence and I can see how it would fit

Nice work! I really liked how polished all the art was and how simple the game was to understand. This seems like a really solid game loop!

Developer

thanks

Very creative idea! This was fun and satisfying. I liked the audio a lot, and I appreciated how clear everything was. I didnt need to struggle to figure out how to do anything. I could really see this expanding more into balancing, and loading multiple ships with the correct thing. Really great job.

Developer

thanks

Nice graphics and challanging gameplay. Feels very polished and complete.  Good job!

Maybe you can add some sort of camera control  so the player can change the angle of the camera.

Developer(+1)

Thank you! You can actually move the camera by holding the right mouse button. It's a feature we couldn't finish and forgot to remove. So let's call it an Easter Egg 😁

Simple concept but well executed. The physics are fun and feel good. As many others have mentioned the up and down crane controls should have probably been something like Left/Right mouse, or Q/E if you are trying to keep the mouse out of the game.

Developer

thanks for playing, the controls are definitely where we struggled

Submitted

it reminds me very old, I belive DOS 2D game, I do not remember how it called. But that was nice nostalgic feeling, and in new dimension

Developer(+1)

got curios about this and tried to find it. Was it Magnetic Crane?

Submitted

No, that game was even older looking, almost black and white. But Magnetic crane also pretty similar

Submitted(+1)

I can't believe you were able to make this in a week. Looks and sounds fantastic. Controls were a struggle - but that might be part of the challenge? I liked it overall. Hit 1800 and then knocked all my containers off the boat lol. Great work!

Developer

thanks

Fun game! I managed to get score of 4800 by just going for all the reds. Tho I find the control to be confusing, one suggestion I have is to make the claw control be the WASD and the crane movement to be the Up and Down instead.

Developer

Good idea, maybe we offer different control schemas. Thanks for playing

900 Pts.

Lots of potential, enjoyed the base mechanics and the music!

Developer

thanks

i really like the concept a lot and the design is really simple but eye pleasing! being able to add a mechanic revolving around balancing the weights would be a fun way to give it more of a challenge, maybe also randomizing what weight is associated with each color each new round would also be a fun way to vary the game play loop, otherwise nice job!!

Developer(+2)

we talked about a Hard mode and randomizing, but in the end went with something simpler because of time. Thanks for playing

(+1)

i agree with bigbluealien that a machanic to maybe make it possible for the boat to flip so its more of a weight managment game would be a neat little deatail but on its own its also very fun i got 2000 and was bopping along to the beat of the music the whole time lol!

Developer(+1)

This idea also came up in the team. Unfortunately too late. We didn't have enough time to implement and test the physics simulation of the ship itself. But definitely a good idea

Submitted(+1)

4800 once I actually read the description and just went for red :) Fun little game, would be a good addition to add balance to the ship, so you can't just throw the containers on anywhere

Developer

nice!

Definitely came up, thanks for playing.

this is very fun and it fits the theme pretty well

Developer

thanks for playing!
