It was very fun and had complicated puzzle elements! I would communicate them more clearly though. I didn't realize at first that I had limited moves, and got confused why some of the rings were moving twice. I figured it out eventfully though!

Game Description
Shift each ring to solve the puzzle and move your cube into the light
How does your game tie into the theme?
In some levels, rings are linked, adding complexity when solving puzzles. Keep an eye out for hints to help you work through these "unintended consequences"

I got stuck on level 9, but I really like this one! Once the later levels implement rings moving together, and you have to use the mechanic of moving your cube before the path is complete... it becomes very satisfying. I could see this having some real success on an app store.
Really wonderful, relaxing puzzle game.
Atmosphere was wonderful! Would it make sense for the box to auto-leave the level after it is completed, or is there some later mechanic that I didn't get to that requires you to move yourself on a ring of the circle? I went back and tested it today and didn't seem like I could move myself.
On the later levels, when moving multiple rings, it was difficult to tell which rings I was moving– one was highlighted more prominently, but the other was a bit muted. If you don't want them to be the same color, perhaps some glow or lighting effect to indicate which ones you have selected?
What puzzle games did you take inspiration from?
Great work on this! Really enjoyed it and hope you keep updating!
Thanks for playing and for the feedback! Glad you enjoyed it.
There is a mechanic in later levels where you need to move the cube independently to “lock” rings from rotating. We intended to make more puzzles using this mechanic but ran out of time.
Your feedback about the selected ring color is one that has come up a few times. So that’s a definite update we’d like to make after the voting ends. :)
Thanks again!
This is a gem of a game! Its short, simple, yet really complex!
I also love how relaxing the music and atmosphere is too, and the puzzles are actually really creative! I didn't expect how hard it would be later on lol. Good work guys!
Awesome puzzle game! The visuals were nice and the music immediately put me in the puzzle-solving zone. The puzzles themselves had a nice difficulty curve that kept me engaged all the way to the end. I was able to solve some of the levels without using up all the allotted moves, so it was cool to see that there is some room for different solutions.
All of the concerns I have were already mentioned in the other comments, though I do want to reiterate that the UI could be a bit bigger, particularly the hints at the top right corner.
Nice work on this submission! It gave my brain a nice workout.
Loved the game, my brain kinda stopped too early on in the game, so i didnt see that much, good work!
I really liked it! just as others have said, I’d like a reset button binded to the keyboard. Awesome submission!
I really enjoyed the art and the simplicity of the game/visuals. The puzzles were thought out- something that seems to be lacking in many puzzle game jam submissions. That includes the difficulty gradually increasing. I like the linked ring mechanic. Some of my ideas to improve are -maybe an undo move button -keybind restart so the 'both hands on keyboard' can stay consistent -increase player speed a tad? (that last one may just be my extremely low attention span kicking in :)
Overall, very impressed with the design of the game!
Very neat, clean, and well-thought out game! The puzzles ramped up nicely and were fun to complete, and the music and particle effects really add to the atmosphere nicely.
One thing to note is that I frequently had my key presses register as multiple, leading to the rings rotating multiple times when I meant to rotate once, and resulting in needing to start over each level multiple times. I am not sure if this is just an issue with my keyboard, but I thought I'd mention it in case it is a bug.
Great job!
Hi! This game was with the best art I have played yet in this jam. Only thing on art I can say, is that active ring could be more visible, in later levels it was really hard to know what ring is active. Music and gameplay was also really good. Puzzles are really challenging, I managed to get to level 8 as I write this review. I will try to get further, probably will replay.
Good Work, keep going!
This is incredible! I'm always amazed by games that look simple on the surface but hides so much depth. The polish is really sublime. I love the visuals of the game and the logo. The UI is very clean and readable. The puzzles ramp up nicely in difficulty, getting to a level of real brain teasers!
My only gripe is that the theme of unintended consequences only kicked in at the later stages, where shifting one ring affects the others. But once you see it, its really apt.
One of my favorites this jam so far, really hope it gets more attention! Congratulations on an amazing entry!
Thanks so much for the kind words! Glad you enjoyed it. And also thank you for the feedback. You're probably right that we could've brought in the linked rings theme a little earlier, but we wanted to allow enough time for the player to get comfortable with the concepts first.
I also played your game last night and it's a lot of fun!
Fun little puzzle game! Loved the simple but effective graphics! Nice touch on the dynamic shadow that evolves with the cube! I do wish the UI was a bit more big and perhaps more fitting with the theme? Otherwise, very cool project, good job!
