Very well made and looks stunning. But maybe a little to complected.
I was lucky to see this being screened because you or someone else explained a few things that were really helpful.
overall very polished and well done.
Thanks for the feedback ! It's always great when players comments on whats wrong :) Could you point out things you found tricky ? Or was it about the number of features left unexplained ?
O yes no problem. (although I will probably will look very stupid.)
The states that are shown in the top make your units in the field stronger.
(But I didn't know that. I wasn't sure if it was a resource I needed to build an army or something?)
I didn't know what upgrading my town-hall did. Or that I could get extra units.
And I didn't know that you could change class.
I hope that helps.
I played your game to the end btw and it was very satisfying.
It does shed a light on certain issues, thanks
Wow. Congrats.
Thanks ! Yours was good too !
I think this is my favorite game from this jam! Hooked from the beginning right until the end! Hunters were the optimal strategy though and I didn't even bother with mages which is a shame but I still had a blast playing this! The three different compositions of the game theme were sooo good!!
Thanks for playing ! Hunters are a bit op ^^
very well made. Was very engaging. The intro could have been shorter i guess but loved the music and the combat.
My god so great big work!!!
You are awesome!
A seriously amazing entry to the jam. So much polish. Gameplay systems. Narrative. It has it all Pierre did an amazing job! No negative feedback.
Thanks man ! Had a blast watching you play !
Insanely polished
It's cause I'm insane
you are really insane - this would take me like half a year to do a production like this
I found myself getting really engaged in this adventure, great job!
Thanks
Very polished game, and a lot of content! I think I found a bug though, you can spam click fast on enemies and perform multiple attacks in one turn. Is that intended?
Yeah it's a bug ^^' Someone reported it this morning, but the jam was over (too bad). I'll fix it after the rating period
Super polished game. I had really fun playing it. Nothing more to say then, great job! Well done! :)
Well thank you :)
Really interesting idea! Great game! Surprising that this was made in 48 hours! Good job
So much to do in this game! Really cool! The nature of the game and the fact that it's playable with mouse input only would make it a really cool game for mobile devices. Maybe that's a direction you might want to explore? Also quite interesting that both our games look quite similar (besides the colors). So that's another point on the plus side for me :D But I'll have to say I like the animations of your menus and stuff better. That looks great! Music is also pretty cool. Two things that could be improved imho:
As you can see I was struggling to find something that you could have done better or different. Really solid and polished entry. Good job!
Thanks for the feedback ! I saw your game while submitting mine, and yeah we got the same 3D/2D idea (btw your game is really fun !). Yes I was feeling like my exposition scene was a bit long, so I let the user skip through it if he wants to. And I'm feeling the same about the UI "bip" sound, I'll change it / add some more variety once i make my post rating release. And I'm already thinking about proting this on Android ;)
Thanks for stopping by and playing my game !
Wow, this was really charming and super polished.
It's amazing how much content you managed to squeeze in, in just 48 hours!
Thanks ! Yours was pretty nice too !
I have no idea how its possible for a jam game to be this polished. The content to polish ratio is way higher then any jam game I've ever seen. What would take most people weeks you do in 48 hours. You have some serious skill friend. Keep up the good work
Thanks ! I'm pretty proud of it :)
This was an absolutely magnificent game. I played for a good hour (but unfortunately couldn't beat it) and enjoyed every second of it. Everything is so polished and satisfying to play. Cheers!
Cheers to you for playing !
I had to quit playing because I need to rate more games. I did not want to quit playing. You win. The whole thing, you won it. This is genuinely fun and polished and good.
In all seriousness I struggle to give you useful feedback. You clearly know what you're doing and all my complaints are probably just consequences of a lack of time. Having hotkeys for the four battle options would have made the repetitious combat flow even more smoothly. It was not clear why I could sometimes recruit more people - whether I had somehow lost someone or the town naturally grew or what.
I'm bookmarking your Itch profile so I can enjoy some of your other work when I have time. Thank you for making this and congratulations.
Great feedback ! I thought about hotkeys but since the rest of the game was all mouse I didn't bother, maybe I should have. I'm adding this to the post rating release
My favorite game so far. So well polished its embarrasing (for me). I spend about 30 minutes beating it and was not bored for a second. Love how you made different versions of the same track for different scenarios. Very well done!
Glad you liked it, and don't be embarrassed, I'm on my third year working full time in Unity, clearly I'm cheating ;)
Okay, it's embarrassing how good this game is, I can't believe it's a jam game. I have nothing else to add, other than bravo. I love this game.
And I love youuu <3
Wow, what an incredible game! I beat it on turn 26! Spammed 5 mages with a few health upgrades and it seemed to work really well. The game as a whole is so polished and well done, I would be here all day if I was naming all the little details that went into making this game so good. The gameplay was fun, the graphics filters were cool, the shifting music was awesome. Definitely gonna watch that devlog cause I want to be able to make games like this one day.
Wow, such a nice comment <3 If I can give some advice on how to make a game like this : keep making games !
Great score btw ;)
I'm definitely not going to stop any time soon, I'm only on my second game and I'm already hopelessly addicted to making!
I didn't see anything in the video about the grainy filter, would you mind sharing how you did that?
Sure, it's a simple post processing effect in Unity, using the Post Processing package
Ooh I love this game, I really like that you combined the town building mechanic with going on adventures and upgrading your Soldiers. Definitely a really interesting concept and extremely well polished and well made for 48 hours. Will definitely be added to my best Games of this Jam lists as well :D.
You're too nice <3
