Description
A soundtrack for World of Memory, an imaginary adventure game!

After the loss of a beloved relative, you dive headfirst into the deep World of Memory.

You find yourself able to breathe at the bottom of a vast ocean, slowly rising upward, away from the depths.

At first treading water on the surface, you eventually learn to swim and make landfall at Colorsplash Beach, a sunny and delightful hub area with several puzzles to distract you.

In time, however, you must make a choice:

Will you stay in your world of memory?

Or will you fight to return to reality?

Message from the artist
thank you for listening <3

Theme

Inside my world
Picture theme

How does it fit the theme?
I wanted to explore how our inner worlds and our memories interact, how we can so easily withdraw and obsess over memories (good or bad!) while life goes on. I also loved the deep water feeling of the picture theme, and tried to incorporate that into my sound choice and composing!

The main theme ambience is really great ! Beautiful ambience with those violins like floating.

Beautiful matching tone, i was goodly surprised ;)

Colorsplash got some great home vibe :) Nostalgia vibe.

Fight to remenber starts really gently for a fight and it was surprising. Loved the harmony and those famous ambience pad violins. It get better as it play ^^

This is a phenomenal OST. Extremely well done!

Fight to Remember gives me some Final Fantasy 13 vibes, and Colorsplash Beach really put me in the same nostalgic space as when I replay Legend of Dragoon. This is exactly what makes OSTs hit home for me, and you really nailed it.

I think my favorite is still the Main Theme though! It's tough to choose because they are all so fresh and interesting. Top 20 for me!

Beautiful soundtrack. I really liked the incorporated "watery" sounds, it really fits the theme. I would love to hear these tracks in an actual game

Beautiful, I love how you used instruments almost sounding like a whale singing in World of Memory. The blend of orchestral and electronic sound is incredible. The sound going backwards really sells the Memory theme, like flashbacks, the noise feels like you can see an old picture, an old memory that is a bit blurred by how long you actually experienced it. It's amazing!

All the others are perfectly orchestrated, please tell me you're a professional, I can't believe it if that's not the case!

1.) World Of Memory (main Theme)

Holy! Starting off extremely strong with such a peaceful and meditative track! I love your use of sound effects for this one, amazing work! I'm already excited to see what else is in this OST.

2.) Colorsplash Beach

So calm and relaxing! Definitely feels like a song you'd hear at a beach. Also feels somewhat inspiring if that makes sense. A very nice upbeat song!

3.) Fight To Remember

Interesting take on a fight theme. It starts off somewhat peaceful and lures you into a false sense of calm. And then the song really picks up pace and definitely feels more energetic. Definitely would be a fight to remember if this was in an actual video game!

Overall, I really enjoyed these tracks! Definitely one of, if not my favorite OST I've heard so far. It captures a sense of calm and energy so well and even if it's only three tracks, I had a lot of fun listening to them nonetheless. Amazing work!

I am typing these thoughts as I listen to the OST.

World of Memory - What an atmospheric opening track! The first half of it has a purely textural vibe that truly feels like you are in the ocean, and then the second half comes in and makes you feel at peace almost!

Colorsplash Beach - Immediately you can definitely feel a very happy and upbeat vibe, a major contrast from the previous track, which was much slower even if peaceful. However, it almost feels too happy in a way, like this isn't the place you really should stay in.

Fight To Remember - Very textural, more similar to the first song than the second! But after a slow and peaceful, yet somewhat melancholic opening, it gets right down to business with  the percussion and the other various textures. Various exotic and tense instruments inhabit the middle section, before it slows down once more to conclude the piece and the soundtrack as a whole.

Overall, I really enjoyed this soundtrack! World of Memory is probably my favorite!

I can absolutely picture this video game and the music fits so perfectly. I loved the ambience created from each piece, the whirls of strings and synths and I so enjoyed Colorsplash beach, so fun! Amazing work.

Oh man World of Memory is such a gorgeous opening track, the trills and the way everything opens up is just wow. Then you follow that up with such an emotional and nostalgic beach theme with Colorsplash Beach. The piano in Fight to Remember is killer with those chords.

I have nothing but positives to say about this OST, the quality and clarity is insane and the composition is stellar. Good vibes all around, and absolutely amazing work!

Well, what can I say...

it's wonderful!
The layering, excellent quality and combination of tools is great!

The atmosphere is conveyed amazingly!

I don't even know what else I can say... Only emotions

I really like Colorsplash Beach, and I can really see it working for your game's concept. Your instrumentation choices feel really strong in it, and it has some really smooth movement between sections.

Wow. Your textures in the main theme are so cool, there's a real care that has been brought to the sound design. I love the energy of Fight to Remember too. Great!

awesome stuff here, love the sound choices you made! i think they fit the theme very well!

very impressed with your arrangements, a lot of control in the mix.  big fan of the string arrangements + the bass lines! (what string library are you using if not stock)

can def hear the power of digifusion

Absolutely stunning! This definitely enveloped me into your world. I love your blending of orchestral and electronic elements, something that I've been wanting to do myself for a while. I will definitely be returning to these pieces for inspiration in the future.

this blew me away, wow! truly an incredible piece of work, i was enthralled throughout all 3 tracks. you did such a good job with these, i can't choose a favourite but will have colorsplash beach stuck in my head for weeks <3

I am genuinely blown away. Even looking at that logic session is making my laptop overheat! This looks and sounds so awesome! The mix is so great, and it has so much movement! The style gives me vibes of Animal Crossing and paper Mario origami king, and Zelda as well! You have an amazing soundtrack on your hands! Colorsplash Beach is such a good theme. A Fight to remember goes SO HARD!!!! This is the very first submission I have listened to, and I think I started with the right one!

Wow...This is insanely good.. I’d love to hear more!

Great use of layering. World of Memory is a fantastic example of gradual progression and I love the warbly synths that kick in around the half-way point. The stripped, unplugged vibe that comes with Colorsplash Beach is a nice change of dynamics and tonality from the swell of emotion that came with the track prior, and it is offset just enough by the lead synth to tie it together.

My favorite of the bunch is Fight to Remember - it reminds me of something I'd hear in a PSX-era RPG, but also something a little more modern. Kicking in during the dialog that precedes a fight and then fully transitioning into the busy sections when the battle has begun. Great choice of not only the instrumentation but gradual progression with this one. The piano and strings at 1:44 in particular give me some serious Breath of the Wild kind of feelings. Great work!

world of memory is absolutely beautiful. Its progression would sell me on the game/soundtrack immediately. Everything has its own place in the mix. I love the strings and the wind instrumentation. I can imagine the first minute being part of the intro cutscene, with the player given control at the drop at 1:13. This is a track that’d end up on my daily playlist after playing the game!

colorsplash beach, while not as beautiful as the main theme, still stands out as amazing. The mix, the instruments, how they interact with each other, is something I strive to achieve. It fits the theoretical theme perfectly, giving off immense “beach” vibes.

fight to remember opens with a tense melody that fights with itself in a beautiful way. The orchestral hints that appear soonafter add so much. The mix is absolutely amazing, allowing the intensity of every instrument to stand out without overpowering each other. My only criticism is that it’s too short! I’d love to hear more of this track.

This is the type of soundtrack where, even if I dislike the game, I’d still listen to its soundtrack often. This would end up in my Bandcamp library sooner or later!

World of Memory - sounds so full and amazing! That mix is so crispy.

Colorsplash Beach - for sure gives me Chrono Cross vibes with the intrument choice and strings when they swelled in sounds so refreshing. If you don't mind me asking is that guitar used a plugin or recorded? It sounds really great!

A Fight To Remember - love the energy that build up to this with the dynamics intensifying till the end of it. With a really calming and beautiful resolution end that gives me a bit of nostalgia.

Great work!

(I write this live as I listen!)

World Of Memory - Beautiful textures in the intro, I love that kind of sound design. Very ambient style. The fullness when it starts building of is beautiful :) So many beautiful instruments and textures all over, and that plucky thing at 2:22 is very delightful. Close to tears here.. seriously

Colorsplash Beach - It fits perfectly as a beach theme! It's very joyful and has just the right groove  :)

Fight To Remember - Wow... this intro feels like it's really leading up to something. Then it does!! I appreciate the bass here ;D A perfect dramatic theme, the percussive elements ~1:06 are absolutely incredible, what a track here :D
