- Soooo preeeetttttttttttyyyyy. I really have no idea what to say. It's a lovely little game that just feels good to play. Maybe some flower selection? Other then that so nice and calming to play and just a cute little time sink.
- Very good GDD, I loved seeing the whole design ideas with such complex but easy to digest details. Very cool! The ideas and foundations link nicely to the game jam, and are a great interpretation of the design brief. Thoroughly enjoyed my little play through.
- Very cute! Love the peaceful vibes.
- This game is visually beautiful, I love the flowers and the deer. Combine that with the music and you have youself a wonderfully ethereal experience. Unfortunately the gameplay is skin-deep. Yes the gameplay is pretty but the jumping and double jumping to hope to get more stars gets a bit old after a while with no real progression outside of bigger flowers. Also there is no hint of any sort of shadow theming in the game, and alchemy can only be loosely tied into the generating of flowers. Overall, very simple, very pretty, reminds me of an interactive art piece more than a fully fledged game

Stellar Bloom is a meditative infinite runner where you are a cosmic life-bringer collecting stars to seed a dark, sunless planet with new life. You transform the inert stars into a wide variety of flowers, and the number of stars collected per jump determines the size of each one. Every star-seeded planet is unique, from a chaotic forest of massive flowers to a tidy garden. All art and animations were custom-made for this jam.
How will your planet look when you're through?
Controls: Space bar for jump and double-jump
Extra Notes
I struggle with severe anxiety and panic attacks and am always looking for things to help calm me. With this game, I wanted to make something that could serve a similar function for anyone who could use some peace or needs to relax.
All the art and animations were custom made by me for the jam.

This is the type of game where you start playing and think: oh this is boring, but for some reason you just don't stop playing, trying to fill up your planet with flowers vibing to an enchanting aesthetic and a great song. The only thing I might want in this game is the ability to jump higher, the more flowers you have. In a game like this, I want to reach the stars! Thank you for this experience, it was lovely :)
Lol, thank you. Higher jumps or additional mechanics as your planet fills with flowers is a pretty cool idea, hmm... I could maybe do something with that. Thank you for playing!
This is so peaceful and nice! It's so simple but I can tell a lot of thought went into this. The visuals and music go together perfectly. :')
Yeah, it's simple, but there was a lot of work put in under the hood (for an inexperienced coder like me), in order to make sure things stayed optimized and framerate didn't suffer for the people who wanted to grow many hundreds of flowers. The sort of thing that is only noticeable if I fail at it, but hopefully my efforts were still worth it. I appreciate your comment, thank you for playing!
This is nearly perfect.
I've played many cozy games, but this one is the ultimate relaxation. The combination of the sounds and visuals, the simplicity of the mechanics and the lack of the UI. I could just disconnect my brain. It is hypnotizing, I couldn't stop. Great for a mental break, great for meditation, or to relax. I love it. So much potential, different planets, different flowers, different life bringer...
I like this take on a game jam, a very simple but polished idea.
Great job!
Thank you!
Yes! I wanted to have different planets, different color themes and flowers, and you could upgrade to different life bringers (fox-type spirit, unicorn type spirit, etc...). Such a shame I'm too slow to implement all that in two weeks. I'm glad you appreciated the lack of UI. It was an intentional choice to support the style of gameplay, but I was worried people would think I just got lazy or something.
Thank you so much for playing and leaving such a kind comment <3<3<3
This game is amazing. Meditation: the video game.
Yay, I'm so glad you feel that way! Thank you for playing!
This is legitimately beautiful! I love how simple it is and honestly, I found myself playing it for a while. It's just a cozy chill game!
Thank you so much, I'm so happy you enjoyed yourself <3
The artwork, music, and the sound effects are combined in such a beautiful way that for a moment, just for a moment I felt peace.
I'm really left speechless at how well you produced that feeling of calm.
If I had to critique something, I would say the jumping animation feels a bit stiff. While you're gaining height you're just stuck in that one pose which can look pretty silly.
Thank you so much for playing and commenting, I'm so happy you got the calm mood I was aiming for. I ran out of time to draw the jump animation so it's just two frames lol, I'm so sorry if it took you out of the game a bit, I'll fix it when I have a chance.
Beautiful and charming. I was lost in time playing it a while.
What a lovely beautiful game.
Filling the world with light of the stars by flowers.
What a beautiful world ^.^
Thanks for the experience
Aw thank you so much, I loved your game too!
Beautiful. I am at peace now :)
Thank you so much for playing, I can't wait to play yours <3
Lovely, single button but dual mechanic, relax and enjoy planting some beautiful flowers to a calm but upbeat track
Thank you very much, I'm glad you found it relaxing!
Beautiful, simple game!
My speaker sounds were low, so I didn't realize that I was collecting the stars in the sky. Maybe some subtle visual indicator or glow would help me realize that I'm collecting stars.
Thank you for playing! Yeah, I ran out of time to add extra effects to the stars, but I agree the game would be better with more visual oomph there.
This is such an incredibly beautiful game!
Thank you very much!
a very enjoyable, peaceful experience! I tried this one before work this morning and was pleased with the planets transformation from dull to luscious. It was a much needed calming experience after stressing over the game jam for two weeks 😅. Thank you.
Lovely art style and overall tidiness. Great concept. It spins a little bit too fast for me.
Thank you for playing!
Simple. Beautiful. Well done.
Thank you
Beautiful art and chill world. Very cozy! Love it. Simple, but yet profound! nice work

Wow, very simple concept, and yet such a beautiful and well crafted experience 💙 Love it, good job!
Thank you so much!
The art is insane! Gameplay is so calm and relaxing! I love it!
Thank you for playing, I'm glad you found it calming :)
Stunning and beautiful experience well done! appreciate the simplicity and yet variety of the game. Definitely well needed meditation after 2 weeks of intense dev!
Are we in the shadow of another planet? :D
-Alex
I'm so happy you enjoyed the game. The planet could be in shadow, I suppose, though I pictured it more as a dead asteroid-type planet not in range of any sun at all. Dunno if that even makes sense, lol.
Thank you for playing, I hope you're getting lots of rest after your hard work!
This was really satisfying to play! Perfect soundtrack to go along with it as well. Great job!
Thank you, I had to change the music at the last minute so I'm glad to hear it still works. Glad you liked it!
