I thought this game was very good. I liked all the different traps and obstacles you added along with the various stages. I thought the UI and all the artwork worked perfectly well together. Overall, very nice job!

This game is really  good. One issue I had is that the player character sometimes stops mid jump in the air and gets stuck in a position where you can't move.

I enjoyed every second of this game! I like that there are animations for jumping, running, and dying. The game doesn't have only one level, but multiple, which made me feel that I'm playing a professionally developed game. There was only one minor issue with the animations and movement, the player sometimes doesn't perform the appropriate animation. Overall, the game is really cool and well-implemented.

I loved the game honestly it reminded me of Batman on the NES. One thing I noticed that could have been improved on is how the character interacted with some of the edges of the environment.

Overall, I really liked this game, and I could tell that you put a lot of work into the game. The platforming and attacks felt good and fluid. There was a moment where I got stuck on an invisible wall and would be hit with an arrow. I also noticed that some hitboxes were oddly placed. One more thing I noticed was that I would get stuck on the wall while platforming and it took me a moment to get to the next point. Overall, though, the game was really well designed, the music worked well with it, and I think you did a really good job!

I really liked it. It felt like one of those games you would of played on miniclip back then. Great Job! I liked the controls and how it felt overall. The only thing I did notice is sometimes you wouldn't be able to run forward fully after doing an attack in the beginning and was not sure why that was. Also sometimes when doing the wall jump it can be not as responsive and fluid when jumping off of the wall. But fighting the enemies, the artstyle, and doing the platforming were overall really good!

I dig the look of it, and the core mechanical idea is tried-and-true (I'm with Sarah on the nostalgia for old Flash games on sites like NewGrounds back in its heyday), but I managed to get hung up on absolutely nothing a number of times.  Not sure what happened there.

The controls were really good and responsive and the art and set design are S tier. The arrow animation!! Made me really nostalgic for some old web games.

The movement felt a bit off when I'd turn back and forth but besides that it was really well done.

Loved this! It reminds me so much of the old flash games you'd find on kongregate, some of the bugs included haha. There is of course some jankiness with the hitboxes of obstacles and occasionally i would get stuck in the jumping animation, but the overall game feel was wonderfully nostalgic for me.

Very nice game!! The difficulty is just enough to be a challenge. The mechanics are good and the transitions between scenes are well done.

Very nice game, the wall climb level was a nice addition.

This game was a really fun game to play. I loved how you used the lyrics of the song to guide each level, that was very creative. Overall this was a really great game!

It is the best game, the environment was very cool because of the projectiles and traps.  The 2D gameplay and determination are nicely done. It's like fantasy-themed gameplay.  The fantasy game is fantastic!!

Wow!  This was really good level design and obstacle design, first of all.  But in terms of the Theme, I loved how in each level you introduced another element of the lyrics from Running Up That Hill.  First we're running, then we're fighting to survive, then we're climbing up that building, etc.  The attack and movement mechanics could have been a bit tighter.  Sometimes it seemed like I froze up and couldn't move but there wasn't seemingly a cause, and sometimes I felt my attacks were not as responsive as I would have liked.  But, I felt like the enemies I needed to  attack represented a fair challenge given what I had to fight them with.  I think my favorite section was lvl 3 in terms of how the controls felt, and the final level was a nice challenge with the timing and placement of the arrows relative to the hill.

Really nice concept, like the music and the general environment of the levels. I did get stuck multiple times on the ground and stairs.  I'm assuming most of the issue is the terrain being duplicated so it creates that clipping edge. Besides that it was cool to play, Great Job!

Excellent job with this game!  I like how you tied the theme into it, and I really enjoyed progressing through multiple levels. There were a lot of unique elements, and I can tell you put a lot of time and effort into constructing everything.  There were no major bugs, and the game felt smooth, except for the fact that it is very easy for the player to get stuck on certain edges.  It seems like this was intended, due to the wall climbing level, but it negatively impacted the other levels too much, and I would have preferred if this had been fixed.  In any case, great work!

Great game! The attacking animation feels good and the only thing that I found to be a bit troublesome was the stairs at the very end, I kept getting stuck. Overall fantastic work though.

Quite fun. I kept getting stuck on terrain when trying to jump over them them which felt kind of weird, but I noticed that is how you can jump up very tall walls *shrug* Nice job!

Yes I know the problem and I had attempted to find a fix but the fix that was most reported to help did not fix it and made it more pronounced so I tried to optimize it to reduce the snags as much as possible but it is not perfect. Thank you for playing! I am glad you had fun.
