Well done! That was simple, fun, and the voice over was good!
I really like the voice lines and the design.
Good job!
PS. Can you also check my game please, pretty pretty please?
Absolutely first class! Well done. Hard not to give this one full marks. I spend way too long on this game, I was so intrigued to see what I could do to annoy the narrator. I don't think I beat it though although I did laugh out loud more than once.
Glad you liked the game!
Simple visuals, simple questions, simple game. The game definitely made me laugh.
I think there is nothing more to say. Good job.
AMAZING GAME!! I had so much fun messing around and trying to annoy the narrator! I DEFINITELY recommend this game!!!
Good take on the theme, simple and very funny. Well done
Lol this was very fun, extremely interesting and fresh idea that I personally didn't expect. It's done very well, although it has some buttons clicking bugs, voice acting and jokes are just great. Kinda sorry for the narrator but sure he'll be fine soon. Good job guys)
Glad you liked the game! I can assure you the narrator is fine. Or is he?
He got replaced by some nerd sadly
:o
This game is hilarious, I love the button SFX when you click it. Oh yes, also I live on the sun.
Cool idea, the voice over adds so much to it, probably whats missing in my game!
The voice over was brilliant! Sadly the path I chose bugged out and turned into a grey screen. But overall really cool game.
Thanks! Just wondering when did you play the game exactly? I thought we got most of the bugs ironed out earlier today. And would you mind describing this bug if its not a problem?
I replayed it just now, with the same answers and it worked perfectly. No worries :)
Awesome, thanks for letting me know.
nice concept also checkout my game
Although the idea is nice, I didn't feel any reason to pick the wrong answers other than I knew that was the point. Means, if I hadn't known about the concept of the jam I wouldn't even restart and take the wrong answers.
Although cute and funny, the voice lines after taking a wrong answer is a bit too long. The first time I answered everything correctly, the second time I tested what happens when you only make 1 right, and other than being mocked nothing happened. I think I need to do 5 answers wrong instead of 5 to get the are you stupid one so I just didn't do it.
Very good sound design and narration, the visuals are appealing.
Well done!
Glad you liked the game. I see why you wouldn't want to pick wrong answers, I think these kinds of games might not be for everyone. I also agree that the narration can be a bit long. A skip button could have been nice, but time wasn't on our side.
No don't stress about it, obviously it's a game made for a jam, so polishing is tough.
I will explain my point about the narration. It was fine when you do it once or twice, but since I already went 2 times, and still haven't explored everything I had to go for a 3rd time. This can lead to a narration about me wanting to exploit every possible answer, or being undecisive which I would find really fun and funny.
Brilliant take on the topic! So refreshing to play a game radically different than all the platformers (including mine 🙃) you really want to press the most stupid answers just to hear the funny insults
nice game
I loved it! I don't know if it's a bug but sometimes it waits for a minute or so before switching to the next question. Anyways it made me laugh so many times for such a short game, and I'm really curious about seeing a potential behind the scenes devlog on BenBonk's channel, 5 stars on almost everything, great job :)
We still have no idea why that happens, inside unity there is never any delay but every time we build it there is a ton of delay between questions, even though it makes more sense if it was the other way around.
Hey, a possible idea for why this happens is maybe you were switching tabs/clicking off the itch.io page? I've done that occasionally and the game can wait awhile if you aren't clicked into the game.
This might be it, thank you for your reply! Your game is awesome :D Will you release a devlog on your channel? I really look forward to it :)
Yup! We both will, sometime during the next few days.
Lots of fun to explore the tree and find new lines. And of course figure out how else to break the narrators spirits.
Really Love the use of the theme
This made me chuckle many times :P. I enjoyed the Stanley Parable, but it was a little tedious trying to find all the endings because it's a longer game. Having that sort of energy in a more condensed game proved much more enjoyable for me. It doesn't get stale because there are only 5 questions ; ).
Also I just want to say that circle having 3 sides isn't that out there... the back side, front side, and circumference is really just one continuous side haha.
Awesome game!
Thanks! I agree the endings can be a bit tedious to find. Maybe a skip narration button would have helped, but we kind of ran out of time for that. Also we didn't think of circles like that lol.
Dang! This is funny, fun, well put together! Great work, fellas!
Thanks, glad you liked it!
