well done
Well done, nice idea.
Very fun to play. Well done my friend :D
For some reason I had so many ties )))
Fun game!
This was so fun! Such a unique concept, I really loved the poker and cooking crossover. I think I noticed one glitch, I had 4 lives, and I had 4 wins, and won again. It took me to a "you lost" screen instead of a winning screen. This has so much potential, and I'd love to see where you take it!
Thanks! Yeah the glitch is sadly something I noticed too late, I lowered the amount of wins needed to win but I forgot to lower it in another script resulting in the text always being you lose :( . Anyway im glad you liked it!
Great take on poker. The upgrading of the food was an awesome idea. I had a lot of fun playing this game.
Quite challenging game. It's a bit difficult to get a good build going, but it's satisfying when you do. It felt like a lot of the time was spent waiting for the competition to finish, though. That's my only nitpick, you have a pretty solid entry.
Of all the games I played this jam, this is the one I keep coming back to. Bravo.
This is so fun. It took me a little bit to understand how everything worked, but once I got it I was making the best soup of all time. Such a great spin on the super auto pets auto battler type of game. I would've absolutely kept playing if the game were longer I was having a great time with it, I especially like being able to merge the ingredients. Great work on this it's very fun!
This is such a clever twist on super auto pets. As a game, this is very good. As a prototype? Unbelievable. Incredible. Very well done my friend.
Amazing game. I really enjoyed playing it. Saving this to my collection so i could play in my free time
Literally same here
Really cool! Quite a complex game with the UI, but you managed to pull it off, well done! I wish it would show the specific things used in each poker hand as it gives the points, like 3 apples popping out of the stew when I get a three of a kind, that would make it even more engaging.
I was cooking up a storm! If only winning hands of poker was this simple in real life - I'd be rich :(
A little scary to begin with but once I'd calmed down and read the instructions I was bankrolling. Could benefit from a tutorial playthrough but time was obviously a factor in that. Great game.
This is actually a really fun game. I almost bounced off of it because I didn't understand it at first, but it's actually awesome once you get the hang of it.
once i figured out how to play, i started slaying enemy teams with my monstrous masses of melon and salt. ty for some entertaining gameplay, i hope you had fun making it :)
i think this is a millions of dollars idea to be honest, it's such a fun game with so much potential. it was REALLY confusing at first but i powered through it and managed to win a bunch of times with grapes and other fruit. it was a lot of fun! stick with it, and focus on making the game as readable and understandable as possible, and you could have a seriously great game on your hands!
i think this game could be potentially fun but it was to hard to understand what to do and how things were scored even after reading the instructions. Especially liked the artwork. Did its job in drawing me in. Maybe make it a lil bit more clear on what to do
These types of games are very dear to my heart!
The art is charming! I like it, its got a cuteness to it. I like the poker hand element added to it as well, gives it a fun spin and makes sense for the cooking element. I will say tho, the poker hand multipliers are a bit strong i think. Especially when its hard to tell on-screen how much its adding up, and when your opponents are seemingly random. A little more dynamic and informative UI in the "cooking battle" phase would crank this game's immersiveness and strategizability up a bunch!
Core mechanic: Team builder.
Secondary mechanic: Fight other peoples teams.
Progression: after each fight you can update your current team.
If I could develop further I would try and add more modifiers, some sort of chef system where you will be forced to cook a certain way (vegi, all meat,...) and also make this an async multiplayer.
I hope you liked the game, feel free to leave comments/feedback, it would be greatly appreciated.
