5 stars for difficulty (lol).
Loved the puzzle! I was very confused but when I looked at the hints I kind of understood? Still not really sure lol, I couldn't really solve any by myself. I agree with the other feedback about the difficulty progression, some easier ones at the beginning would be great! The puzzle in the menu was really good and a good start to the game!
I love puzzle games and thought I would love this, but it's just so hard and cryptic, right from the start. I think you really need to start easier and let us learn and get better as we go. Or it might just be that I am dumb. :)
Thanks for the feedback! Yeah... the next is definitely to work on a better progression 😅.
I would love to see more of this game! As others have mentioned it definitely has a steep learning curve and was pretty confusing to get started with, but I think it has a LOT of potential.
Thank you! I'll be hard at work on that difficulty curve after!
Wow I really like your core mechanic, lots of potential to build off of it! I will admit, the puzzles had me confused in general: I liked the main menu as a sort of "puzzle" and think that one worked well, but once in the game itself I think it could use a little more guidance to help the player get on the right track with solving puzzles.
All that being said, I still think you have a great core here and solid foundation to work off of, just needs some small tweaks and you can really go crazy with this!
Thank you! I'll try hard to make it a better experience!
I really like the idea of this game!
I have to admit that I struggled a bit and could never do it without Solution 😅
Also the Sounds of the Flute could be a little louder.
Hope this gets developed further!
Thank you! I'll work on that difficulty curve and try to change the flute volume :3
The game was cool once I figured it out, but I had no idea what things meant at first. I thought there were something wrong in the main menu, it would be nice to get some feedback when you make inputs.
Otherwise it was very interesting and fun game! :D
Thank you, I'll try to make everything clearer for the user/player!
Very clever idea. I especially liked how the start menu itself is a puzzle. The only thing missing is some form of feedback so the player knows when they did something right.
Thanks, I'll try to work on that next!
I think probably I'm just too dumb to play this type of game. I managed to get some doors open but through sheer luck of randomly pressing keys to get the right code. No idea how you would work them out haha. All the same pretty cool, and I'd like to have another go at some point.
Thanks for playing it!
You're definitely not too dumb, I have a lot of work to make for it on the game design!
LOOOOOVE this type of game.
Couple minutes couldn't understand what "in construction..." means ))))
Thanks for playing it!
Hahaha, yeah, simply wanted to mean that there is work in progress ;p.
hah, yeah, I understand it only after the second one )
By the way, I almost certainly figured out how to open doors (I hope), but one particular door refused to open to my input.
(door before first 3D thingy) Don't know why. Maybe I don't understand the rules at all xDD
Really liked this game. I also liked not being given much and having to figure it out. I couldn't open a few of the doors, but I found a glowing thing that said "under construction." Great game, one of my favorites from this round.
Thank you for playing it and reaching that shiny thing!
Still a work in progress and will try to make it a complete experience.
I dig this game - it took a while to understand the controls but once I did it was a pretty cool puzzle game! I'm convinced one of the doors is impossible to beat, and I ran into a second door where I think the texture that shows the pattern to open it was missing.
I agree with other commenters that at least a little instruction on which keys must be used for the "u l r d" inputs would be helpful, I was trying to use the arrow keys before realizing that wasn't the solution.
Thank you for trying it!
That's definitely my fault, for some reason my build removed some arrow keys inputs hehe.
Still, I'll try to work on the design to make it more streamlined.
I managed to get a few of the doors open. But I could never really figure out the pattern to the doors.
I'm going to hold off rating this for right now. If you could update your game page with the controls/pattern, I think that would be helpful. I want to come back and give it a proper playthrough.
I think you're onto something cool here. Just need to know how to do it. Cheers!
Yeah good idea, just did that! I think even with the proper controls though there's a lot of design work to do. Thank you for the feedback.
idk if im too dumb to solve the puzzle or the game is just about holding the space button
EDIT : I FIGURED IT OUT omg you're such a puzzle man dude now i can play the game
You're definitely not dumb, I'm sure the menu was also not intuitive ;p. I'll work on streamlining everything
