What do you like about your game?
I love how the game came together into a cohesive project. There are lots of little things that stand out but I think the way the game comes together as a whole is what I'm most proud of.

Pretty cool game! I liked the music and the switch mechanic. I thought the platforming felt a little out of touch with the rest of the game. The switch mechanic felt very nice, and it contrasted with the much less polished platforming, which felt frustrating at times. Overall, pretty strong puzzle game.
This is really good! It's kinda funny that the ending ended up being almost as long as the game itself (also that last part with the blind jumps felt a little unfair), but the idea is great and the execution too!
Hard agree with the guy on the comments page, this is the best thing I've seen for the jam so far. The story, the unique mechanic, the multiple variations on the theme...absolutely killing it dude. 5 stars on all fronts
Absolute banger, really made me just stop and think for times, great execution
That's a very neat idea. Loving the visual design it's so cool when everything shift around
Great game - I really enjoyed it! The level design was brilliant and the concept is great (although, I've seen a few games on this Jam with the same idea - this is one of the best implementations of it).
Great job - fantastic entry!
Smart game! The colors are simple but very efficient. I wonder if the game could be played with 3D glasses ahaha.
Sorry for fueling your syndrom, but it is really good! Good gameplay, graphic art, music, dialogs.
The idea of "fake dangers" is really good and adds a nice touch to the main mechanic.
The X key mentionned to switch did not work for me, I feel like it's not intended. The text writing sound seemed do die down for long dialog boxes, but it might come from my device.
What did you use to make the music? I like the vibe of it.
the dialog says “x button”, not “x key”. That line is there for players who are playing on controller. Though it won’t account for PlayStation controller users unfortunately
I'm a dumbass, I didn't think about this.
oh! On the subject of the music - the chiptune tracks were make in famitracker, while the more modern sounding tracks were made in Logic Pro. As for how I did the fading, it’s a little too complicated to explain here, but check out the GitHub and look for the files on the “DJ” node to see how I accomplished this! That said if you’re unfamiliar with how Signals work in godot it may confuse you, I think I’ll go back and add comments through my code to explain how everything works
Thanks for the info! I'll give a look at the fading but I just thought it was a bug because I had quite a lot of issues with sound when trying to add some to my game.
the text box sound problem you mentioned does seem like a glitch, however the way the music tracks fade in and out as you play was intentional.
Phenomenal and rare game. I truly think you weave gameplay and story together beautifully to get to the core of real human feeling. If i had to give an example, very similar to what Celeste does.
It is extremely conscious of humanity and is truly a strong way to think about something like plural identities and definitely more broadly too. You flip the script on so many tropes used to dehumanize people.
Very beautiful, please keep creating and congrats on your first release!
Very fun and concise game. Just wish it was longer.
Cool game, i love it! :D
Of the games whose primary fashion is 'Chromatic Aberration' - Red and Blue is quite possibly my favorite. For as short as it was, I found myself wholly engrossed during the entire experience. In all the best possible ways, the puzzles and style were disorienting, in a sense that spoke to me of dissonance with one's self.
In that way, the Ludonarrative of Red and Blue was honestly touching in that respect, certainly one that most people can identify with. I think we all have multiple facets of ourselves, masks perhaps, imperfect copies that are at odds with the others at times. But accepting that, accepting those [Shards] of ourselves despite their differences is what truly makes us whole.
Thank you for making this game, I can't wait to see if you one day develop the concept of other abilities that shake up potential puzzles in the future. But more so what kinds of self reflective narratives you can drive home within them. Phenomenal.
Nice game mechanic! Really fun!
good stuff
Really creative way to use chromatic aberration as a game mechanic! Overall, it's a nice fun and short game that I feel like would fit perfectly in a website like Coolmath (minus the f-word and the mentions of killing lmao)
The mechanic was a little weird to get used to and I was still struggling by the end, but I feel like you'd eventually get used to it if you played it for long enough!
I feel like there's maybe a bit too much text. I think half my playtime was reading about the story. While it is a really fun story, the gameplay just feels too short to justify it. It feels like I'm reading a book with a minigame attached. There's also not much replayability, there's not really a reason to go back to the game after you've finished it.
Overall, I love this idea! I feel like it's flaws come with being so short of a game since it was made within 2 weeks. If this game were an hour long, it'd definitely justify the reading and story!
nobody cares about a hero...
Very nice game, it feels very polished and the puzzles are fun!
Hey this turned out super fun!! The levels were genuinely puzzling and challenging whilst not feeling tedious. Story was a nice touch really helped bring it all together. Honestly feels like I just played a (short but sweet) finished little game. At the same time I'd definitely play more! Great work.
hell yeah, love me some chromatic aberration. cool game
i think it's funny how many did this effect even though is was disadvised :P
Fun puzzle game with an intriguing story. Definitely worth checking out!
