How does your game represent Mode?
In our game the player must swap between two modes. Ship control, and cockpit control. Each of these modes plays differently but each of them connects and relies on the other.

I wasn't paying attention and skipped the tutorial and expected a space invaders type of game. When I pressed space, I was blown away lol; Really cool idea, I love this game, when can I wish list on steam?
Pretty awesome! I felt myself getting into a real flow with managing upgrades when I went for the best medal (although tbh it feels more appropriate to call them 'ammo' or 'batteries') - finding the right moments to swap out drained upgrades for new ones. Repairing the ship from the cockpit to get a bit of health back is cool too.
This is amazing! I love the little details like the color of the damage particles matching the repair tool and the ship sounds being distinctly different from the game sounds. Nice work!
Very cool idea! At first I thought it was very simplistic. But it escalated quickly! Congrats and nice work!
Its a great game , needs some tweaking with waves maybe add a delay so player can upgrade with each wave ends
Such a fun game, constantly switching between repairing and fighting made me feel panic but in a good way.
Really good game! I can see this being expanded on with a full release for sure!
This was a really cool interpretation of the mode theme! I found it very hectic going back and forth. Really got me to feel some intense emotions and suspense while I tried to quickly repair the ship as my shield runs down! Good job!! Left you a rating.
This was super fun, and got very hectic very fast. It was a really nice balance between the two modes, and I liked how you weren't completely punished for switching to the repair mode. Sometimes I would return to the fight mode and be clobbered immediately by enemies that were now on top of me, but overall it felt pretty fair. Graphics are really nice and well themed, and the seamless transition between the two modes was well done. It reminded me a bit of Dome Keeper in the sense that the two modes were separate but simultaneous.
Very fun game, and a very unique genre mix! I really hope you expand this one and consider turning it into a full Steam game. The 3D mode is a super cool idea and I think there are a lot more mechanics you can discover here, and fun ways to continue interconnecting the modes.
I really like the situations where your weapons get damaged and you have a choice between continuing to fight at half capacity, or taking a break to repair. I think there's a lot of cool ground here to continue expanding on concepts like that, adding more ship systems to manage, and creating a variety of interesting tactical choices. Great work on this one, and I'm excited to see what your team does next!
Love the franticness/stressfulness of this, and usually that doesn't work for me but its so well polished that it all feels fair. Going to play this every morning so I can be ready for anything the day throws at me
Love this game!! The concept is incredible and so is the gameplay and the presentation. Loads of fun. I managed to get to 163,100 score before it became way too overwhelming. Good stuff
Really good entry the roguelike aspect of it and the transition between the upgrading and the game is a teally good idea its really smooth i really dig it, the artstyle is wonderful as wel. Overall really good game, good job dude!!
This is one of the best takes I've seen on the theme so far! Like the mode switch isn't just impactful but adds a whole new layer to the game. And the fact that your in the cockpit makes the simple 2d sprite work feel so much more real and impactful! Super cool.

What a cool take on the theme! This would be such a tough idea to execute on in 2 weeks so awesome work making it as fun as it is. I thought that the various enemy types worked really well as ways to influence where the player has to move. Nice work :)
Love this concept, really fun and frantic (in a good way). Great use of the mode theme to expand on a classic space-invaders style game.
Really love this concept. Really fun and interesting in execution too. It is really hard to find time to go back and repair your ship however. Even when i did, i found myself coming back to a wall of enemies and it felt a little bit frustrating. Otherwise this is a fun game. Also worth noting that no player ever wants to read a wall of text in order to learn how to play a game.
Yes I am aware that text tutorials are not great. But in a game jam it was all we had time for. Thanks for playing!
This game was super well polished and I loved the retro art style mixed with the cubed 3D. It gave just the right amount of stress and has a skill ceiling where you can get really good with the muscle memory. You must be goated at it now given all the testing and debugging hours.
All round awesome job!
My highscore is 398,100 lol. But another team member got 519,900. Glad you liked it thanks for playing!
Really well polished! The particles are top notch! I really like how you implemented the theme too!
I’m a big shmup fan, so I enjoyed this quite a bit!
Great interpretation of the theme, where you jump between shmup and maintenance mode. Shmup game play was solid. I would’ve probably preferred a button press to shoot, but using the mouse makes sense, since you need to be in first person for the ship repairs. I also like the nice touch of any equipment you’re holding when you start the shmup mode blocks part of the screen. So you get “punished” for not putting it away.
My only critique is that I felt it was hard to find a gap to go into repair mode. It might’ve been nice for shmup time to slow down. Otherwise, you’re semi invested in just staying in shmup mode.
Overall, great entry! Thanks for making a shmup.
Glad you enjoyed it! When you enter the cockpit you have a shield for a little while and are immune to damage. So you are safe for a little, but enemies will still spawn. Thanks for playing :)
